CNN: Promoting Hatred
The left-wing Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) publishes a “hate” list.
On August 17, 2017, CNN published this list.
- Five years ago, an armed domestic terrorist named Floyd Lee Corkins told police that he had targeted the Family Research Council’s (FRC) Washington office for his murderous assault, because it was on the SPLC list.
- Last June, James Hodgkinson shot and severely wounded Rep. Steve Scalise, R-LA, and others as they practiced baseball. Hodgkinson had “liked” the SPLC on his Facebook page.
But yeah, CNN, you go right on promoting that list as a legitimate source of “hate” groups.

Former Obama advisor David Plouffe has been fined $90,000 by the Chicago Board of Ethics for illegally lobbying Mayor Rahm Emanuel on behalf of his post-White House employer, the Uber taxi company. His Democrat contacts made it easy for him to lobby for his employer with the Democrat mayor. The problem is that Plouffe never registered as a lobbyist.

Judicial Watch is planning to sue the FBI, CIA, and NSA if they do not hand over records related to the wiretapping of former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
More FAKE NEWS: Journos are claiming Trump referred to a terror attack in Sweden that never happened! Oh noes! Except Trump NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT A TERROR ATTACK. He said Sweden is having terrible problems because of all the refugees they took in, which is true.
Reuters interviewed a captured ISIS soldier who says he reads the Koran all day in his tiny jail cell to become a better person. He also says he raped more than 200 women from Iraqi minorities, something he said was encouraged and even considered virtuous by ISIS leaders. A total of 5,270 Yazidis were abducted last year, and at least 3,144 are still being held.

A woman Obama appointed to the FEC has submitted her resignation. She’s apparently been a no show at her job anyway since, it appears, Trump was elected. What a shocker. In 2014, she made an attempt to impose FEC regulations on online political web sites, including Drudge.

The Southern Poverty Law Center “reports” that anti-Muslim hate groups shot up from only 34 in 2015 to 101 in 2016. They got this faux figure by counting the 45 chapters of a single organization as 45 groups. This same group was listed as a single group in the 2015 report and it’s not a hate group. They also counted a bar sign as a hate group, because it had a politically incorrect message on it for a while. They also counted as “hate groups” a store that had posted a sign saying they wouldn’t sell to Clinton supporters or Muslims and an artist who drew a cartoon mocking Mohammed. They also listed conservative bloggers, the David Horowitz Freedom Center, the American College of Pediatricians, the Family Research Council, and the Jewish Political Action Committee as hate groups.

Southern Poverty Law Center: Purveyors of Slander
The Southern Poverty Law Center has published a report titled “The Trump Effect: The Impact of the 2016 Presidential Election on Our Nation’s Schools.”
It claims to demonstrate that Trump supporters are white-supremacist haters.
The report is based on the responses to a questionnaire sent to mostly Democrat educators asking if they had “heard derogatory language directed at students of color, Muslims, immigrants and people based on gender or sexual orientation” in the first ten days following the election.
Educators reported back saying they had heard someone say, “Build the wall”, 467 times.
In their report, the SPLC classified this as 467 incidents of pro-Trump hate speech.
The finding was given breathless coverage in the New York Times, Washington Post and other major slime stream media.
But the SPLC left out of their report that, despite NOT BEING ASKED, educators had also reported hearing 2,000 incidents of racist slurs and other derogatory language leveled against white students.
Despite the fact that SPLC recently admitted that they left this finding out of their report, the original report will no doubt be quoted ad nauseum by the Left to support their “it’s okay to hate on right wingers and whites because they’re haters” narrative.
Founded in 1971, SPLC claims to be a nonpartisan civil rights law firm. However, it receives funding from leftist groups, including ones controlled by far leftist billionaire George Soros. Its board members contributed more than $13,400 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaigns.

A little more media bias if you can stand it
Last week, Floyd Corkins admitted he went to the Family Research Council to kill employees. (Thankfully, he was only able to shoot one guard.) Corkins obtained his target from the Southern Poverty Law Center’s website, where the Family Research Council is categorized as a “hate group” because of its opposition to gay marriage.
The same media that blamed Sarah Palin’s election map for Gabby Giffords’ shooting (despite evidence that Jared Loughner had volunteered for Giffords’ election campaign) found nothing “newsworthy” about Corkin having used the SPLC’s list to choose his target.
