GRAMMY NOTES: I grew up in a football family. My father and eldest brother were head coaches of the Sprint team at Cornell, but I never really caught the pigskin bug. One time when my parents were hosting an all adult family dinner, I announced I had watched an entire professional football game. Nobody believed me. So I told them what the cheerleaders had worn and about the quarterback who had played with a cast on his hand. They asked if I remembered which teams had played or who had won? Ummm … no.
