In August 2021, the National Library of Medicine published a review of its use in more than 20 randomized clinical trials (RCTs) involving COVID-19. These studies found notable reductions (31% mean) in COVID-19 fatalities. During mass IVM treatments in Peru, excess deaths fell by a mean of 74% over 30 days in its ten states with the most extensive treatments. The report noted that the indicated biological mechanism is likely to work with full efficacy against emerging viral mutant strains.

MEDIA LIES AGAIN: In an article published Aug. 23, 2021, the Associated Press falsely reported that 70% of all calls to the Mississippi Poison Control Center had come from people who had ingested ivermectin to try to treat COVID-19. The actual number of calls about ivermectin was 2%.

E.g., the protesters “shared misinformation.” Some “held signs depicting Bill Gates, a reference to a baseless conspiracy theory that purports the billionaire philanthropist is using the vaccine to embed people with a microchip.” Some also carried “a Canadian and American flag altered to depict the ‘thin blue line,’ a controversial symbol often worn to show solidarity with police and frequently associated with hate groups.”
