Bits & Bytes

BOSTON: A program for advanced fourth, fifth and sixth graders in Boston was suspended because they are 70% White and Asian. Boston Public Schools are 80% Black.

Hmm … maybe instead of punishing White and Asian kids who study hard and do their homework, they should do something about changing the corrupt Black culture that disrespects academic achievement.

COVID-19:For 100 years almost, since we’ve been developing immunity capability, people have always known if you survive smallpox, you don’t get it again. You get chickenpox, you don’t get it again. You get a vaccine; you stop worrying about polio, etc. For the first time ever, here is a series of vaccines, safe and effective, 95 plus percent effective, and what’s happening? They’re telling us to leave our masks on, to continue social distancing. That’s absurd.” – Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA)

GOVERNOR NIPPLE RINGS: Top donors have put away their checkbooks in the wake of Andrew’s nursing home scandal, his attempt to cover it up, and now the allegations of on-going sexual harassment and abuse.

Unless he comes forward and faces it completely and openly and honestly, he doesn’t deserve a fourth term, even though I like him immensely,” said businessman Bernard Schwartz who has donated $70,000 to Cuomo over the last two years.

HYATT HOTELS: When left-wing activists tried to pressure the hotel chain for hosting CPAC, Hyatt told them to take a hike.

We take pride in operating a highly inclusive environment and we believe that the facilitation of gatherings is a central element of what we do as a hospitality company.”

ILLITERATES: President Biden removed mentions of Dr. Seuss from Read Across America Day amid accusations of “racial undertones” in the classic, whimsical tales for children. Huh? Did they NOT get the “racism is bad” messages that are IN those stories?! Morons.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: New Yorkers learned about Cuomo’s COVID-19 nursing home scandal in April 2020. Throughout the next eight months, the Slime Stream Media would devote all of 51 seconds to the subject.

During the first two months of 2021, as the depths of Cuomo’s duplicity have become apparent, those same newscasts have delivered a scant 10 minutes, 56 seconds. By contrast, they obsessed about Sen. Ted Cruz’s trip to Cancun for 8 minutes, 51 seconds over the course of just four days.

MISS USA: A U.S. District Judge has ruled that the Miss United States of America competition can’t be forced to let transgender women participate in its pageants. He wrote that the organization’s state mission is to promote “natural-born” females and, as such cannot under the Constitution, be required to change its rules.

TEXAS: On Tuesday, Governor Abbot ended his statewide mask mandate and said all businesses in the state can fully reopen.

With the medical advancements of vaccines and antibody therapeutic drugs, Texas now has the tools to protect Texans from the virus.”

YAY!! It looks like it won’t be an issue for Dearest to fly down for our grandson’s First Holy Communion. 🙂

TOP GUN: [2:45] – LEGO has produced a shot-for-shot remake of this classic film. Top Gun: Maverick” is currently scheduled for a July 2, 2021, theatrical release. Maybe it seems stupid, cuz why not just watch the original, right? Well, two reasons for me. One, Tom Cruise’s messy personal life and over-the-top support for Scientology makes it hard for me to watch his movies. Two, it’s LEGO!

VACCINE: The newly-approved Johnson & Johnson vaccine for COVID-19 was developed with the extensive use of abortion-derived cell lines. The Moderna and Pfizer vaccines were only tested on these cells, making them less morally compromised.

  1. Church challenged Jesus to a fight. That’s laugh-out-loud funny.

Trying to find something one saw on the Interwebz can be a daunting task.

It was a bar-chart poster of who believes (or not) or has never heard of Qanon. Maybe just ‘republicans.’ I didn’t think it was on PoliNation, but I thought I’d ask.

I’ve searched posts here back to mid-February. I’ve searched that other blog’s posts, although it could have been linked instead of embedded, or linked by a commenter, so I’ve even searched my browser history. Image-search was not only no help, there’s an awful lot of really crazy and ugly things turn up with those search terms! 👅

I mainly remember that the top bar was something like “believes Qanon” and it was 4%! Most responses were, don’t care or never heard of ’em.

I’m definitely in the 96%. I’ve never read or posted ANYthing about this subject.

      • Well, I found the poll I was looking for. Not a bar chart, there were just bar charts on the same page at Patriot Retort; funny how memory works.

Suffolk University poll: Trump supporters opinion of QANON

        Favorable: 4%
        Unfavorable: 31%
        Never Heard of: 43%
        Undecided: 21%

I’m in the “only heard of it because the Fraud Squad made a big deal of it” category.

Even that 4% seems high. Oh, unless, maybe, “favorable” includes enjoying watching the Fraud Squadrons get played by net memesters.
