2020_03 08 Catholic faith - Please don't judge

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE: Excellent information as of Sunday, March 8, 2020 [9:59] – Dr. Anthony Fauci is a member of the coronavirus task force, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and a sane, sober voice.

The Pentagon reports that three American service members have become infected. One is in South Korea, one is in Italy, and one recently returned to Virginia from overseas. Another who is deployed to Kuwait is being observed.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: [9:00]The Democrat B.S. Machine is pimping “we’re all gonna die from coronavirus” because they hope it will hurt Trump.

BERNIE or BIDEN: There’s an interesting analysis of the Democratic presidential nomination by Stu Cvrk at Red State.

There is no way that the Democrat Establishment will let either Bernie or Biden lead the Democrat ticket in November for the reasons cited above, and the selection of an outsider candidate in a brokered convention has been their strategy all along.

DEMENTIA BIDEN: Giuliani video is worth watching [8:44] These quotations are from the same rally … “We cannot re-elect – we cannot win this re-election. Excuse me. We can only re-elect Donald Trump.” AND “If you want to nominate a proud Democrat, a lifelong Democrat, an O’Biden Bama Democrat, join us.

ABORTION: [4:40] Comparing protests outside the Supreme Court while the justices hear arguments about the constitutionality of states requiring that abortionists have hospital privileges.

SEXUAL ABUSE: Children who are sexually abused are many times more likely to be raped as adults.

So which political party of sexual predators has been systemically creating a culture of damaged adult victims by messing with our society in a way that is sexually abusive to children?

Who cheers for child drag queens? Who tells kids as early as kindergarten that they can choose their gender? Who passes laws criminalizing normalcy and chastity, all the while passing out birth control to minors, then arranging for their abortions when those methods fail?

ONE CLUE: It isn’t Republicans.

2020_03 08 happiness

HAPPINESS: Scientists have discovered that people who strongly believe in God are more than twice as likely to report being happy as those who do not believe in God.

There is an even strong correlation between those who merely profess faith and those who practice their faith. For example, people who go to church weekly are significantly more likely to feel good about their lives and significantly less likely to suffer from intense negative feelings such as depression.

EMPTY PEWS: Some dioceses in Japan and all of Italy have suspended celebration of public Mass to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

The pastor of “Sanitary St. Mary’s” in Pine Bluff, Wisconsin, issued an amusing coronavirus bulletin. See the gloria tv link (third one down).

POPE FRANCIS: For some time, the media has been spinning the idea that he doesn’t get along with U.S. bishops. But bishops from across the United States have returned from their recent ad limina visits full of praise for Francis.

An Ad Limina visit is an obligatory visit made by all bishops to Rome during which they pray at the tombs of St. Peter and St. Paul and meet with the current pope and Vatican officials.

  1. Love that last one. I’ve been known to make an emergency trip to Hobby Lobby to stock up on yarn when there was a blizzard warning and I was at risk of being snowed in for a while…

  2. Why do Catholics pray to Mary? The bible says that she was favored among women, not above women. Jesus never called her mother, he always called her woman. Why are priest called father? The bible says, “call no man on earth your father, for one is your father in heaven”.

I can’t imagine why that would be.

Atheist: Life hasn’t treated me well, I seem to fail at everything, the world is unfair, and life isn’t worth living. 😦

Believer: Life hasn’t treated me well, I seem to fail at everything, the world is unfair, and I’m secure by the paternal forgiveness and divine affection in a life eternal. 🙂
