In full disclosure I can’t stand this overbearing loudmouth punk. Never could. When I first saw him on SNL I wondered where the hell they found this squinty-eyed little moron. Through massive vote fraud, he actually managed to steal a seat in the US Senate from Norm Coleman. His entire tenure has been fraught with crass, vulgar behavior. During Senate hearings he’s been rude, profane, and boorish. Well, karma’s a bitch, and it looks like it may have bitten him in the hind quarters … finally. Check this out:
‘It’s my right as an entertainer’: Franken staffer comes forward as 7th accuser of sexual misconduct
It appears the worst is not yet behind Al Franken. The Democratic Minnesota Senator was hit by another sexual harassment allegation on Wednesday, bringing the total up to seven.
“He was between me and the door and he was coming at me to kiss me. It was very quick and I think my brain had to work really hard to be like ‘Wait, what is happening?’ But I knew whatever was happening was not right and I ducked. I was really startled by it and I just sort of booked it towards the door and he said, ‘It’s my right as an entertainer.’”
As Franken’s support collapses, Democrats expect resignation
Though the writing appeared to be on the wall, Franken’s departure was not certain. A tweet posted Wednesday evening on Franken’s Twitter account said: “Senator Franken is talking with his family at this time and plans to make an announcement in D.C. tomorrow. Any reports of a final decision are inaccurate.” Late in the day, Democratic Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York added his voice. “I consider Senator Franken a dear friend and greatly respect his accomplishments, but he has a higher obligation to his constituents and the Senate, and he should step down immediately,” Schumer said.
WHEN SCHUMER SAYS IT’S TIME TO GO, PACK YOUR BAGS.
[CtH: Makes me sick they’re leaving it up to him, while simultaneously talking about maybe blocking Moore from taking his seat if he wins!]
MPR Reporting Al Franken to Resign on Thursday
UPDATE: Sen. Franken’s official Twitter account replied to the tweet, saying that the Senator had not yet made a decision. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/christinerousselle/2017/12/06/breaking-al-franken-to-resign-on-thursday-n2419169
So, What Happens to Al Franken’s Seat If He Resigns? The walls are closing in on Sen. Al Franken, with a seventh accuser stepping forward today and multiple Democrats calling for his resignation in the aftermath, including DNC chair Tom Perez and more than 20 Senators (and counting).
Franken is expected to give remarks tomorrow and, well, it’d be pretty crazy if he didn’t resign. The former SNL star’s time in public service should be drawing to a close, and provided it did, what happens next in Minnesota politics? Democratic Governor Mark Dayton is given the ability to make a “temporary appointment to fill any vacancy,” according to state law.
In other words, Dayton can pick whoever he wants and this pick is guaranteed to be a Democrat. Which Democrat? That is still up in the air, but leading candidates would have to be Rep. Keith Ellison, Attorney General Lori Swanson, State Auditor Rebecca Otto and Lieutenant Governor Tina Smith.
MY PERSONAL GUESS IS HE’LL PICK THE MUSLIM RACE HUSTLER. HE’S THE MOST RADICAL OF THE BUNCH (I HOPE).
IN OTHER NEWS: REMEMBER THAT IMPEACHMENT VOTE FROM CONGRESSMAN GORK, THE CAVEMAN? YEAH, IT DIDN’T GO SO WELL.
An attempt to impeach Trump today failed 364-58
There are really two ways to look at this effort. One is that this attempt to impeach President Trump got slapped down hard today. The other is that there are now 58 Democrats willing to attach their names to this desperate action which their own leadership is officially against, at least for the moment. Again, the message isn’t ‘No’ it’s ‘Not yet.’ The White House responded by labeling Rep. Green and those who voted with him extremists. “Their time would be better spent focusing on tax relief for American families and businesses, and working to fund our troops and veterans through the holiday season rather than threaten a government shutdown.”
Sarah Sanders Calls Dem Stunt “Pathetic” After House Overwhelmingly Rejects Trump Impeachment Resolution
Democrat Rep. Al Green, who previously had sex with a drug-addicted staffer then sued her after she threatened to go public, introduced two articles of impeachment against President Trump Wednesday.
Chelsea Handler: Sarah Sanders a ‘Harlot’ Wearing ‘Summer Whore Lipstick’
THIS TRAMP IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY?
Left-wing comedian Chelsea Handler made a series of lewd remarks about White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during the latest episode of her recently canceled Netflix series Chelsea.
[CtH: “recently canceled.” HA!]
Chelsea Handler Forced To Flee Burning Mansion — Blames President Trump For Wildfires The fires are affecting northern Los Angeles neighborhoods and are forcing some big stars to flee their mansion estates. While the source of the wildfires has yet to be discovered, outspoken Trump critic Chelsea Handler was forced to flee her home and immediately blamed President Trump. “Just evacuated my house,” she tweeted Wednesday afternoon. “It’s like Donald Trump is setting the world on fire. Literally and figuratively. Stay safe everyone. Dark times.”
[CtH: Who was responsible for California wildfires when Obama was in office? Asking for a friend.]
TIME Picks #MeToo Campaign for Person of Year – For Exposing DOZENS of Democrats of Sexual Abuse and Perversion It’s like a Democrat Party donor’s dinner. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2017/12/time-picks-metoo-campaign-person-year-exposing-dozens-democrats-sexual-abuse-perversion/
Time Magazine’s Person of the Year Cover: A minor correction
Booker to Bama: New Jersey Dem Senator to Campaign for Doug Jones GREAT! SEND A FOUL-MOUTHED RACE BAITER TO ALABAMA TO TELL THEM WHAT A BUNCH OF WHITE SUPREMACISTS THEY ARE.
Sullivan reports Rep. Terri Sewell (D-AL), the state’s lone Democratic member of the House of Representatives, is spearheading the effort to bring some high-profile African-American Democrats to the Yellowhammer State, including the Booker and Rep. John Lewis (D-GA). He also reports events that include former Gov. Deval Patrick (D-MA), Rep. Cedric L. Richmond (D-LA) and Rep. Sanford D. Bishop Jr. (D-GA) are in the works as well.
McConnell: Hope Moore is prepared for his Ethics probe
Hopefully Senate Republicans will be prepared for it, too. This leftover from yesterday will take on additional importance if Al Franken resigns tomorrow. Democrats clean up their messes while Republicans get theirs elected will be the cry from the media, ignoring their 25-year record of covering for Bill Clinton’s sexual predation and their efforts to get him back in the White House via Hillary.
[CtH: They’ll completely ignore how they let said Democrats CHOOSE if they were going to resign. At least VOTERS are getting to decide about Moore.]
John Conyers III Allegedly Body-Slammed His Girlfriend And Cut Her With A Knife
HIS DADDY IS PROUD OF THIS CHIP OFF THE OLD BLOCK.
John Conyers III, son of disgraced former Rep. John Conyers Jr., allegedly body-slammed his girlfriend and then spat on her during a domestic dispute, according to a new report. Conyers Jr., who resigned on Tuesday after a flood of sexual harassment allegations against him, has said that he wants Conyers III to run for his empty seat.
[CtH: “Democrats clean up their messes.” ::coughcough::
BARACK OBAMA Was Worst Economic President Since 1949 – Now He’s TAKING CREDIT For Trump’s Booming Economy Here is the complete list of average annual real GDP growth by postwar president (in descending order):
- Johnson (1964-68) 5.3%
- Kennedy (1961-63) 4.3%
- Clinton (1993-2000) 3.9%
- Reagan (1981-88) 3.5%
- Carter (1977-80) 3.3%
- Eisenhower (1953-60) 3.0% (Post-WWII average: 2.9%)

- Truman (1946-52) 1.7%
- Obama (2009-15) 1.5%
President Trump’s first year in office will beat Barack Obama’s best year ever. President Trump has seen quarterly GDP rates of 1.2%, 3.1% and 3.3%. The New York Federal Reserve revised its estimated fourth quarter GDP of 2017 to 3.93. This will give President Trump an annual GDP rate of 2.9 in 2017 or possibly higher.
At a conference of mayors in Chicago, Mr. Obama congratulated himself Tuesday for strong employment numbers in the U.S. this year, saying his climate-change policies have contributed to growth. “As we took these actions, we saw the U.S. economy grow consistently,” Mr. Obama said. “We saw the longest streak of job creation in American history by far, a streak that still continues by the way.” He added wryly, “Thanks, Obama.”
[CtH: Typical Obama. He has a long history of taking credit for other’s successes, while denying (like Hillary) that any of his numerous failures had anything to do with him. Also, typical of Obama is the backward tilt of his head, so he’s always looking down his nose at everyone. ]
Obama Invokes Nazi Germany, Warns Against Voters Becoming ‘Complacent’ The two-term Democrat expressed the importance of a free press and urged the country not to “grow complacent,” saying “we have to tend to this garden of democracy or else things could fall apart quickly.” Hinz writes Obama then brought up the specter of Adolf Hitler, who came to power in Democratic Germany amid the financial crisis of the 1930’s. “Sixty million people died…” he reports Obama said. “So, you’ve got to pay attention. And vote.” On Twitter, Hinz called the comments “remarkable” and framed them as a rebuke of current president Donald Trump. Take that, @realDonaldTrump: @BarackObama makes clear his view that a complacent America could be headed the way of Nazi Germany. Read his remarkable comments at #EconomicClub of Chicago.
[CtH: Mr. FORMER President, sir, we were paying attention and we VOTED. That’s why Hillary isn’t president.]
Franklin Graham: No President in My Lifetime Has Defended the Christian Faith Like Trump
In a Dec. 1 post on Facebook, the day the tree was lit, Rev. Graham said, “Never in my lifetime have we had a president willing to take a strong, outspoken stand for the Christian faith like President Donald J. Trump has.” “Whether you are Protestant, evangelical, Orthodox, Catholic — all Christians need to get behind him with our prayers,” said Graham.
“For Christians this is a holy season, the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Christmas story begins 2,000 years ago with a mother, a father, their baby son, and the most extraordinary gift of all – the gift of God’s love for all of humanity.
CAN YOU IMAGINE OBAMA SAYING THAT? NEITHER CAN I.
