I remember being very pregnant and sitting on the back porch of my development ranchburger. I was eating pea soup and wondering when I had become this 30 something pregnant person with 2 kids, a car loan and a mortgage, who thought that sitting in the sun with a bowl of pea soup was the height of living. That baby will turn 30 this summer.

My son will be 30 next month, and my youngest daughter will be 20 at the end of this month. My other two girls are 26 and 36. It’s really weird having kids who are middle-aged.
