I quit when I realized our votes didn’t count for squat last November. They’ve co-opted the media, corrupted the schools and stolen my vote. Dearest is still trying locally but … hell’s bells, don’t get me started.
The local Democrats here are just as filthy as the national ones, just not as rich. The GOP asked for a copy of the mailing list the Town Board had used to notify certain property owners about proposed legislation. 33 of the 55 letters they sent out were returned, so they investigated.
The mailing list the Democrat dominated board submitted to the State is correct; the one they gave the local GOP committee had been altered. Around here, it’s very difficult to know what a person’s real mailing address is. I’ve known people who lived in ONE house that was in one village’s mailing area, another village’s phone service area and a third village’s school district! Our church’s address is so confusing, they just maintain p.o. boxes in both post offices to catch the ones that go to the wrong one.
Anyway, mostly what these slime sucking bottom feeders did was swap Groton for Freeville and Freeville for Groton on almost all of the addresses, so they looked okay, but weren’t deliverable.
In one interesting case, though, the address was Roswell, NM. That’s such an obvious outlyer and famous to boot … it’s got me wondering if the person who did it was (a) appalled at being forced to tamper with the mailing list and wanted the GOP peeps to catch on to the dirty trick OR (b) thought the dirty trick was so dang funny, they wanted to shove a thumb in the GOP’s eye.
