THE SATURDAY MORNING POST

DW was home yesterday for the first time in nearly a week. So,of course, she and her BFF are going shoe-shopping today. So here I am. Barry is on TV announcing Loretta Lynch as his choice to replace Holder-Himmler. I’m including a link about her background. She seems better than racist-boy,but anybody Jughead nominates for anything is highly suspect. She’s probably a white-hating bigot whose job description is to go after Barry’s critics. We’ll have to wait and see what happens. Meanwhile I have Daniel Boone on ME TV in the background. Thank goodness for cable.

Obama Picks U.S. Attorney in Brooklyn to Replace Holder
APPARENTLY THERE WERE NO QUALIFIED WHITE PEOPLE

“Ms. Lynch is a strong, independent prosecutor who has twice led one of the most important U.S. Attorney’s Offices in the country,” Earnest continued. “She will succeed Eric Holder, whose tenure has been marked by historic gains in the areas of criminal justice reform and civil rights enforcement.”

Harvard-educated Lynch, 55, began serving as United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York in 2010, confirmed to the post by unanimous consent in the Senate. She previously led the same office from 1999 to 2001. Her jurisdiction is Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island.

The First Fight of the Lame Duck
The lame duck session hasn’t yet convened, but its first major battle — over how best to thwart the executive action on immigration the president is expected to issue in the coming months — is already underway. Conservatives are pushing to include a measure attempting to deny the government the funds it needs to administer the amnesty in a must-pass spending bill, the so-called continuing resolution. That would include the funds to issue green cards and work permits.

National Review Online obtained a copy of a letter that Arizona congressman Matt Salmon is circulating to his colleagues to generate support for such a move. It is addressed to representatives Hal Rogers and Nita Lowey, who lead the House Appropriations Committee:

Holder aims vulgarity at critics in email

Newly released emails show Attorney General Eric Holder said that Justice Department prosecutors who were critical of the department’s handling of the fallout of the Fast and Furious gun-walking scandal could “kiss my ass.”

Operation Fast and Furious was a botched effort by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to track firearms across the Southwest border. Revelations about it created a political firestorm, leading to congressional investigations and turnover within the ATF and Justice Department.

WHEN MATURE,RATIONAL PEOPLE MEET WITH A PETULANT,IMMATURE DESPOT WHO’S BEEN HANDED EVERYTHING IN LIFE TO HIM ON A SILVER PLATTER AND DOESN’T ACCEPT REJECTION THE RESULTS ARE PREDICTABLE

Obama Lashes Out at Republicans During White House Bipartisan Lunch
Obama lashed out at Republicans when the cameras were turned off.
    The AP reported:

Republicans attending the postelection lunch at Obama’s invitation said they asked him for more time to work on legislation, but the president said his patience was running out. He reiterated his intent to act on his own by the end of the year if they don’t approve legislation to ease deportations before then and send it to him to sign.

The Republicans’ approach, three days after they resoundingly won control of the Senate in midterm elections, “seemed to fall on deaf ears,” Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said in a telephone interview. “The president instead of being contrite or saying in effect to America, ‘I hear you,’ as a result of the referendum on his policies that drove this last election, he seems unmoved and even defiant.”

Pelosi, Reid, Obama: Hey, it’s business as usual for us
Election results? We don’t need no stinkin’ election results. If Barack Obama sounded defiant — as well as out of touch with reality — in his post-election press conference, the rest of Democratic leadership hardly sounds any more aware. Nancy Pelosi signaled full steam ahead for another term as leader of the House Democratic caucus, but Politico reports that some members wonder when Pelosi and her clique will take a hint from voters … but probably not enough of them to matter:

Feminist Professor Sued for Altercation With Pro-Life Demonstrators
This hag gets paid to pervert our kids with her racist screeds.

The Life Legal Defense Foundation (LLDF) filed a civil suit Thursday against the University of California and Professor Mireille Miller-Young seeking “compensation for physical battery, property theft and civil rights violations” following an on-campus altercation in March with pro-life demonstrators.

Miller-Young, an assistant professor in the Feminist Studies Department at the university’s Santa Barbara campus (USCB), was convicted in July of stealing a pro-life sign from the group of demonstrators in a specially designated free speech area on campus and assaulting a teenaged member of the group.
I imagine if they win their lawsuit against this hateful bitch they’ll get as mch as the assistant DA got when he sued Sharptongue for slander ond won…nothing.Black liberals don’t pay…they just tak.

Landrieu Tries to Shame Cassidy for Being Absent During Hurricane Katrina, Ends Up Embarrassing Herself

WATCH: When Louisiana needed disaster aid, Mary stood up & fought for our state. But #WhereWasBill?

I guess when the DSCC decides to abandon you, you start to get a little desperate. Louisiana Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu introduced a new website called wherewasbill.com and has been tweeting a barrage of strange attacks against her GOP challenger Bill Cassidy after she failed to get over 50 percent of the vote in Tuesday’s statewide election, meaning the Pelican State’s next senator will be named in a December runoff. Perhaps the most bizarre tweet from Landrieu’s account, was the one where she claimed Cassidy was nowhere to be found for Louisianans in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Interesting charge. Fortunately, Cassidy had a response:
Mary Landrieu wants to know where I was during Hurricane Katrina? Setting up a surge hospital for refugees.
Again, it appears to be an act of desperation in a race in which Cassidy has all the momentum. Come December, the Landrieu dynasty in Louisiana may finally come to an end.

    Billy Graham, Happy 96th Birthday!

Today, Nov. 7, 2014, is the 96th birthday of the greatest evangelical preacher of the last 60 years, Rev. Billy Graham. There is perhaps no other Bible Christian pastor who has done more to spread the good news of Jesus Christ to hundreds of millions of people in the United States and around the world over the last half century – and he’s still preaching with his new film, Heaven: A New Message From Billy Graham.

Unlike Jesse and Al,this man is actually IS a reverend and has brought more people to Christ than anyone in imagination.Apparently God thinks his work down here is still not finished.Thats OK with us.

No Joke: Al Sharpton Invited To White House To Discuss How To Work With GOP…

There’s obvious and then there’s painfully obvious. And in the case of Al Sharpton declaring that Tuesday’s resounding defeat for his party was not the fault of an unpopular president nor inept candidates, but of Hillary and Bill Clinton, it’s painfully obvious where the activist/host/liaison is getting his marching orders are coming from:

Fmr. Israeli Ambassador: Obama’s Secret Letter to Tehran “Shows Weakness” – Is His 4TH COMMUNICATION to Iran
Israel is very upset and very surprised because that letter is really a letter of appeasement. It’s sleeping with the enemy the morning after sending him a love letter. And, as we know it it not the first time. It is probably the fourth communication between the president and the Iranian leadership. It totally disregards the fact that the recipient of that letter is a terror state which perpetrates, harbors, finances terror all over the world… To do this is a sign of weakness.

Number of uncounted votes grows in Alaska U.S. Senate race
The number of uncounted votes in Alaska’s tightly fought U.S. Senate race grew by 21,000 between Wednesday and Friday — and more than 5,000 of those were votes that hadn’t been predicted in early accounts of the number of ballots outstanding.

After election night on Tuesday, incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Begich trailed Republican challenger Dan Sullivan by 8,000 votes, or 3.6 percent, and both campaigns have been closely watching as state elections officials collect additional ballots cast by mail, or at more than 200 so-called “absentee in-person voting locations” around the state, where people could vote early.
The spike between Wednesday and Friday was a reflection of state elections officials’ new accounting for more than 13,000 provisional ballots, 2,200 absentee ballots submitted by fax, mail or email, and some 5,200 ballots cast early at the in-person absentee voting locations across the state.

This is why Begich wouldn’t concede.Watch them steal this seat.

Reuters: Obama Silences Biden’s Attempt to Negotiate

It appears that Vice President Biden went straying off the reservation during the meeting Friday with bipartisan Congressional leaders, and President Obama jerked him right back on.

The story states that House Speaker Boehner offered to try to pass an immigration reform bill next year, and Biden appeared open to the idea. That of course put Biden on the wrong side of Obama’s determination to issue an executive order this year.

Ted Cruz Warns: Republicans Might Pass Internet Sales Tax After Election
There are some voices in Washington who want a lame duck precisely so they can engage in corporate welfare and blame it on the Democrats,” Cruz told National Review Online. “One of my greatest concerns during a lame duck is that we could see leaders in both parties pushing through a nationwide internet sales tax. That is one of the favorite causes of the corporate lobbyists on K Street, to jack up taxes on millions of mom-and-pop internet retailers. Now, that helps all the big businesses at the expense of the little guy.”

[Missouri] District 117 State Representative Linda Black of Desloge dropped a bombshell at the state capitol Wednesday when she announced at a news conference that she is switching to the Republican Party after an election in which the GOP built upon its already large majorities.

“It’s been a joke around the capitol with Republicans for quite a while that I needed to go ahead and join their party because I was already voting with them on so many issues,” she said.

The main reason Black said she is switching parties is because she found it increasingly difficult to square her social and moral beliefs with those of the Democratic Party.

Has it been twenty-five years already? Hard to believe.

My daughter was nine when the Berlin Wall came down. She was as impressed as I had been at her age; fortunately, for new reasons.

So… I went with my 3 best friends on a girls’ weekend. This was supposed to help me relax after 5 hard weeks tending to my mother and just before my son’s wedding in 2 weeks. We went to the summer river cottage of one of the ladies and shopped all around the little gift shops in the little towns all around the county. We also went to the Urbanna Oyster Festival, which is a huge event in a teeny tiny town. This morning we woke up, had some coffee, and were starting to get our things together to return home, when 2 women came flying down the lane and beating on the door. They were staying in their house about 5 or 6 houses up the lane and they heard a gunshot. They went out on the screen porch and looked to see a man 2 houses away with a rifle. They knew this man, who lived in that house. They then thought that the man pointed the rifle at them so they hauled butt out of there.

They came to my friend’s house and said that they weren’t sure but they thought that their next door neighbor had been shot and hurt. They thought that was what they had seen in the yard but were so frightened that they didn’t take the time to make sure of what they had seen. 911 was a mess. We were connected first to the wrong county. Then the line for the right county was busy – and so on and so on. Then the police could not find us so one of the ladies got in her car and had to drive about 4 miles up the road to direct the police where to go. All this time nobody has a clue where the man with the rifle is, but they thought that he had walked back into his house. We hoped!

After about 30 police cars, a fire engine, 2 SWAT vans, and an ambulance blocked off the lane they finally got the guy in his house about 3 hours later. The neighbor was killed, and he was the cousin of the shooter, who lived next door. The ladies who witnessed it were hysterical. What an end to what had been a fun and relaxing weekend.
