Mitch McConnel(RINO-KY) crushed a poorly vetted and underfunded Matt Bevin.
In Ga.,former Dollar General CEO Dave Perdue will face Rep. Jack Kingston in a runoff.
In Idaho,Boehner ally used millions in corporate money to bury Tea Party candidate Bryan Smith.
In Oregon,Monica Wehby survived a last-week assault from dems about her being accused of beating up her ex and stalking another boyfriend.
All I heard all morning on the radio and over much of the ‘net doing my research was the left creaming their jeans over the demise of the conservative movement. They could scarcely contain their euphoria. As far as I’m concerned the GOP-e has their big corporate donors that they plan to pass amnesty for,so they don’t need us. So be it.
Barry went before the cameras to empathize with the families of the vets who died waiting for care. He said he was really upset and he would punish any wrongdoers. Then he gave a ringing endorsement to his VA director,Eric Shinseki. WH ‘picking up the pace’ on executive actions
In an op-ed for The Huffington Post, Pfeiffer argued that congressional Republicans are not interested in engaging on the economy, instead spending time “obsessively trying to repeal the Affordable Care Act” and “ginning up politically motivated investigations.”
“Given this dynamic, President Obama has only one option — use every ounce of his authority to unilaterally improve economic security,” Pfeiffer said.
On Wednesday, Obama is slated to designate the largest national monument of his presidency in the mountains of New Mexico. And Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Gina McCarthy hinted Monday that the president would personally present new carbon emissions limits on coal-fired power plants. The White House has said that announcement would come in early June.

Harry Reid on a rampage: Threatens rule changes to give Democrats more power
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid raised the possibility Tuesday of another rules change to curtail filibusters, saying he is increasingly frustrated that Republicans are sticking to the letter of the rules and delaying action on dozens of President Obama’s nominations.
In the past, many of those nominees would have been approved in handshake deals, but after Mr. Reid first changed the filibuster last year, using the “nuclear option” to sideline Republicans, the chamber has been in a sort of legislative cold war.
Someone needs to sign commitment papers so this lunatic can be institutionalized.

Inmate Sues USA Over ‘Muslim Pants’
A Muslim inmate filed a class action against the Federal Bureau of Prisons, claiming that Islam prohibits Muslim men from wearing pants below their ankles, but his prison prohibits him from hemming pants above the ankles.
Yahya “John” Lindh sued the directors of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the warden of the Terre Haute federal pen, in Federal Court.

After I posted the vid, I heard Rush play a montage of BO’s expressions of something-like-anger over various issues. Could’ve used that in the soundtrack!

We have all heard of Ben Carson, one of the most celebrated neurosurgeons in the world. His book ‘Gifted Hands’ is the story of an innercity kid, with all the breaks seemingly against him, who through faith and hard work became director of pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital at age 33.
Once a book that remained in the top 100 of Amazon’s book sales (consistently between #50 and 60) now has fallen to #261 and dropping. Why you ask? A black kid from Detroit makes good in the world and his story is no longer relevant?
Ben Carson has been critical of not just the Health-care reform in it’s present form, but also Barack Obama and his lack of leadership and direction he takes America. And to boot, he was never the Affirmative Action Plantation Negro many made him out to be. He is now no longer the hero, just another so-called Uncle Tom tool of the right with a PC bulls-eye on his back.

Marcia Fudge (R-OH), the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), and said that amnesty would “disproportionately harm lower-skilled African-Americans” whose economic conditions have already gotten worse under America’s first black president.
