Liberals hate Black Republicans, so it isn’t surprising that a HuffPo contributor tweeted this about the photo above:
What a shocker… there’s ONE black person there and sure enough they have him standing right next to the mic like a manipulated prop. Way to go @SenatorTimScott. #trump #taxscambill — Andy Ostroy (@AndyOstroy) December 20, 2017
But the worthy senator from South Carolina responded with his usual class:
Uh probably because I helped write the bill for the past year, have multiple provisions included, got multiple Senators on board over the last week and have worked on tax reform my entire time in Congress. But if you’d rather just see my skin color, pls feel free. — Tim Scott @SenatorTimScott December 20, 2017
Funny … I don’t remember anyone talking about BLACK PROPS when THIS picture made the news.
Democrats portray themselves as the standard bearers for inclusiveness. But their own staffs prove the lie.
- Overall, just 4.9% of the 3,655 Senate staff are black.
- Less than 1% of senior Senate positions are held by African-Americans.
A respected staffer of a prominent Democratic U.S. senator who wished to stay anonymous told a reporter, “They are all so phony. Every time I hear any of the Democratic senators, including my own boss, talk about diversity, I cringe, because it’s all one big lie. That they’ve been allowed to enjoy this reputation as a party that values diversity, while doing next to nothing of substance to align their actions with their words, is expert-level deception.”
Congressman Bobby Rush (D-Ill.) said, “We attack the other party for their lack of diversity, but when you walk into an office you see a lily-white staff among some of those same members, especially in senior positions. With Democratic House members it’s shocking, but it’s also revealing … I’ve seen maybe a small amount (of improvement) but not enough to say we’re moving in the right direction. It’s a real serious problem, especially in policy-making positions. It’s absurd and it’s hypocrisy.”
There’s so much going on it feels like I just flushed a coven of quail and don’t know which one to shoot at.

Cory Booker Lays Groundwork for 2020 Run at Jeff Sessions Hearings
There may as well have been a banner hanging in the grand marble meeting room that housed Jeff Sessions’ hearings for attorney general: Booker 2020.
But Booker, swarmed by far more cameras than any other witness of the day when he entered the room, used the afternoon to take a splashy stand and lay groundwork for a potential 2020 presidential run.
Senate Showdown: The Real Reason Cory Booker Testified Against Jeff Sessions
“Sen. Cory Booker will use his testimony to cement support among the Democratic activist/populist wings of the party as he considers a 2020 presidential run,” Schweitzer, who has helped confirm over 20 nominees at the Senate, said.
Senator Who Attacked Jeff Sessions Caught in BOMBSHELL Scandal
FIND A DEMOCRAT THAT DOESN’T TAKE KICKBACKS. JUST TRY IT.
Senator Cory Booker is embroiled in a Newark Watershed Conservation and Development Corporation (NWCDC) scandal involving allegations of massive kickbacks, Politico reports. Yesterday, Donald Bernard Sr., who was the senior projects manager at the company that ran Newark’s water infrastructure under the direction of then-mayor of Newark, New Jersey Cory Booker, pled guilty in federal court to accepting nearly $1 million in bribes from contractors.

Sen. Tim Scott Obliterates Twitter Troll Who Called Him A “House N***a” With One Perfect Word
Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) picked up a nasty troll.
However, Scott’s one word response was perfect!
Tillerson Pledges Support for Israel
“Israel is, has always been, and remains our most important ally in the region,” Tillerson said. “They’re important to our national security.”
Jeff Sessions is a Southern White Republican, so OF COURSE he must be a Raaaaaacist! NEVER MIND THE EVIDENCE!
But, you know what? It wasn’t Republicans tweeting RACIST crap today!
When Ira Madison saw Sessions sitting with his darling granddaughter on his lap, the MTV culture writer tweeted for Sessions to “kindly return this Asian baby to the Toys ‘R’ Us you stole her from.”
And when Sen. Tim Scott announced his support for Sessions as AG, racist Democrats crawled out from under their rocks to scream Uncle Tom, house boy, housenigger, and porch boy at him.
Scott proved himself to be a gracious gentleman, responding to tweets like “You’ve sold your soul voting for Jeff Sessions” with “Sorry ma’am, but my #SoulIsPurchasedByJesus.”
He also showed he has the better sense of humor. When one tweeter called him “A white man in a black body”, he asked “Is that like a Liger?”
Thank you for your grace, Senator Scott. You make me proud to share your party, your nation, and most importantly your faith in Jesus Christ.
Sen. Tim Scott, the black Republican overwhelmingly elected by an extremely conservative electorate, noted that Durbin’s vote against Condoleezza Rice happened during the 40th anniversary of the March on Selma. Classy, Dickie. Real classy.
Those screaming RAAACISM over the white NYPD cop who killed an unarmed black man by keeping him in a chokehold too long need to know two important true facts:
1. The NYPD sergeant supervising the incident was black.
2. At no time did this sergeant tell the white cop to release his chokehold.
Garner’s death clearly needs to be addressed more thoroughly than “the cop didn’t MEAN to kill him”, which is all the Grand Jury was asked to decide. But the family is pursuing a civil law suit and there are surely other PEACEFUL means by which police procedures can be reviewed and improved.
My point is that yelling RAAACISM and protesting in the streets has never yet accomplished anything good, though it has clearly led to loss of property and even lives for those caught in the midst of it.
In fact, vendors and race mongers are the only people I can see who have benefited in any way from the hype of faux racial “causes” like Tawana Brawley (the black “victim” lied), the Duke lacrosse gang rape case (the black “victim” lied), Trayvon Martin (the Hispanic, not white, shooter was acquitted), the Ferguson case (the white shooter was acquitted and Michael Brown did NOT have his hands up), and now the Garner case (the black supervising officer never intervened).
It’s the same ol’ same ol’. These people have nothing but hate to offer the world.
- U.S Senator Designate Tim Scott #Republican of South Carolina to star in new reality show as “Uncle Tom’s Cabin” part2
- scott follows in the grand political tradition of other “uncle toms” like clarence thomas & herman cain
- uncle tom Tim Scott cry for 1%,pity too stupid to grasp 30yrs of trickle down killed American Dream&hope of social mobility
- Tim Scott Uncle Tom ass is back. UGH. I hate the world.
Scott was gracious. In a series of tweets, he said:
My skin color is talked about often. Tonight I want to talk about it for just a moment. In South Carolina, in America, it takes a generation to go from having a grandfather who is picking cotton, to a grandson in Congress. We are thankful for those trailblazers who came before us and said the status quo was not enough. I stand on the shoulders of giants. Our values and our issues are central. The most important things we have to offer are on the inside. This is the testament to progress made.
However, EVERYTHING this man says IS dripping with hate.
Rev. William Barber Netroots- Little Black Girls at WH
Last January, William Barber said South Carolina Senator Tim Scott isn’t “black enough” because of his ties to the Tea Party. “A ventriloquist can always find a good dummy,” Barber said.
Despite federal employees having been given a “liberal leave” day to attend the ceremonies, only 20,000 total attendees were at the 50th anniversary celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr.’s “I Have a Dream” speech. 100,000 were expected. I’m thinking this says more about today’s black leadership than about King’s legacy.
It is sadly and painfully apparent that Dr. King’s successors have outright ignored his inspiring words:
“And that is something that I must say to my people who stand on the worn threshold which leads into the palace of justice. In the process of gaining our rightful place we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred.” Rev. MLK Jr.
Even if you don’t like Rush, this is really worth the time. He makes some very good, very valid points.

“If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as a Michaelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, ‘Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.” Martin Luther King Jr.
