President Donald J. Trump is dedicating this week to workforce development. Across the United States there exists a skills gap that must be addressed. Americans are unemployed and seeking employment, and companies are struggling to fill vacancies for positions that require varying levels of skill and training.

President Trump’s Administration is committed to closing the skills gap and ensuring Americans are trained for the jobs available and the jobs of the future.

CtH: Just guessing that “gender studies” isn’t on the list of needed training.

Trump Believe in AmericaRick Perry: ‘First-ever’ natural gas exports offer hedge against Russia

“The Trump administration has made approval of natural gas exports a key part of its energy and national security strategy. The U.S. is the world’s top producer of oil and gas due to the fracking and shale energy boom.

CtH; I’m sure it makes a TON of sense that Putin “hacked the election” to get Trump in the White House, instead of former SecState Clinton who sold Russia a bunch of our uranium. /sarc

Trump’s Bridge To The Future

“By approaching the nation’s infrastructure problem like a businessman, Trump can actually deliver the goods — without spending the country into bankruptcy — by focusing on the real cause: Big Government itself. ”

The Drunken Democrat

Honestly … you have to watch these two videos to believe them. This woman is a DISTRICT ATTORNEY!

Dashcam video of roadside sobriety test [11:22]

Jail video from after her arrest [4:49]

April 12-13, 2013: On the night of her arrest (around midnight), Lehmberg’s blood alcohol (.23) was nearly three times the legal level. Her smug belligerence really makes me wonder what kind of dirt she has on which prominent Democrats, KWIM?

She pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 45 days in jail, fined $4,000 and lost her driver’s license.

In Texas, the district attorney is the county’s lead law enforcement officer, and the Travis County District Attorney has the additional responsibility of prosecuting public crimes under the Public Integrity Unit, leading to a loud outcry for Lehmberg’s resignation from lawmakers and public safety groups. She refused to resign.

The Texas Local Government Code, in Chapter 87, allows public officials like district attorneys to be removed from office for “incompetency, official misconduct, habitual drunkenness, or other causes defined by law.” The 1987 revision to the law added a single incidence of intoxication on or off duty as a potential cause for removal.

However, because Lehmberg is a Democrat, elected in Travis County, one of the most Democratic-heavy areas of the state, and Governor Rick Perry, a Republican, would be able to pick her replacement, other Democrats quickly rallied to her defense.

That’s Democrats for you.  Never mind that she’s a flaming alcoholic who is a menace to herself and society. She’s a DEMOCRAT!  Politics trumps public safety ever time.

Frustrated with Lehmberg’s refusal to resign and maintaining his position that someone who had committed her offenses was not fit for office, either as the district attorney or as head of the Public Integrity Unit, Perry then announced plans to veto funding for the Public Integrity Unit unless Lehmberg resigned.

Texas law clearly grants the governor the power to veto funding for the Public Integrity Unit and many other agencies, but Democrats supporting Lehmberg howled and moved to punish the uppity governor by charging him with two felonies!

August 15, 2014: A grand jury indicted Texas Gov. Rick Perry on charges of abuse of official capacity, a first-degree felony with potential punishments of five to 99 years in prison, and coercion of a public servant, a third-degree felony that carries a punishment of two to 10 years.

No one quibbles that Perry had the right to veto the funding when the legislation crossed his desk. The case is about whether he abused his office when he threatened to veto in an attempt to get Lehmberg to step down.

The criminal investigation could mar Republican Perry’s political prospects as he mulls another run at the White House in 2016, which no doubt fueled the self-righteous fires of the Democrats For the Defense of Drunken District Attorneys who prosecuted him.

Texas has shut down a heavily trafficked portion of the border

Texans have reduced illegal crossings by nearly 50%.

As I understand it, defending our borders and enforcing immigration law are federal duties, ones the Obamacrat “leadership” in DC absolutely refuse to perform.

President Douche Nozzle and his unTransparent administration

2014_07 09 Obama Perry HomeNChange toon 2

“The president didn’t spend his entire visit to Texas whoring himself out to the wealthy and laughing uproariously about our fallen borders. He also took some time to fight negative racial stereotypes by drinking beer and playing pool.

From a serious journalistic and editorial standpoint, Hope n’ Change would really like to describe Mr. Obama’s actions as something other than “acting like a complete douche nozzle.”

But we can’t.”
