Catholic Vote has a new video up that has drawn a lot of negative attention from Left-wingers.

2015_07 02 CV video on Left media

But, praise God, all of this attention has only served to send more people to watch it!  The ad is currently being watched by nearly 500 new people every minute and 64% of the viewers are under the age of 35!

Not Alone

Even more amazing … people on both sides of the issue are calling out the hypocrisy of the #LoveWins movement.  The top comment on PerezHilton from “QueerEye” reads:

“I think you have seriously missed the point of this….the point is that people are being disrespected for their beliefs, they are being accused of bigotry for standing by their beliefs, they are coming out and saying that while they support gay people, they don’t believe what you believe…Shame on you for trying to make something out of this that it isn’t.”

Did you ever think that something a Catholic website did would provoke readers of Hollywood gossip sites to demand respect for religious freedom?

God’s Word is the ONLY way to make sense of this

The Left has an apparent hypocrisy that shows up as total consistency once you align each issue with God’s Word.

2015_06 Rainbow WH and ISIS tossing gays off bldgs

  • God loves marriage and family; therefore the Left seeks to destroy them.

Today is the day Obama hoped to settle on a nuclear deal with Tehran.  Last week, 18 leading foreign policy experts – including five former top Obama administration officials – publicly criticized the Obama administration for giving away too much to Tehran.  On Sunday, reports emerged that Obama had caved in to Tehran’s demand that there be NO INSPECTIONS of sensitive Iranian nuclear sites.

  • God loves Israel and the Jewish people; therefore, the Left panders to those who seek their destruction.

The New York Times showed off another version of the Left’s evil agenda by publishing an offensive portrait of Pope Benedict XVI made entirely of condoms.

Last January, the NYT sniffily refused to publish any of the Hebdo cartoons of Muhammed, explaining that “under Times standards, we do not normally publish images or other material deliberately intended to offend religious sensibilities.

  • God loves the Catholic Church; therefore, the Left assaults it in every way possible.

I’m not holding my breath waiting for any of my fellow Extremist Catholics to use deadly force against newspaper employees, the artist who made the offensive portrait, or the employees of the museum that now owns it.

The Left won, but it wasn’t about love. Those people are filled with hate even after they’ve gotten what they wanted. One of them actually spit on Fox News’ Father Jonathan Morris during a gay pride event Sunday night. Father Jonathan responded with this:

Our own Grunt weighed in on the Left’s hate-filled response to WINNING.

“Bitter, vile, evil people. Somebody should remind them that when conservatives were soundly defeated in 2008, we reacted with graciousness and optimism and cautious praise for Obama’s potential.” -The Grunt of Monte Cristo

Wickedness vs. The Common Good

“At the end of time, evil shall increase. Many shall be refined, purified, and tested, but the wicked shall prove wicked.” -Daniel 12: 1,4,10

Democrats booed God

From Conservative Hammer: “The vitriol here on FB has been stunning… Many of my Christian friends have been verbally attacked with such violence and disdain, it absolutely took my breath away… I wanted to stay out of the fight, but was watching rainbow flags appear on almost every page I opened, and was bombarded by images I would have preferred NOT to see… It makes my blood boil to think that just a week ago, these SAME people were demanding the removal of the Confederate flag from every nook and cranny… So, I am hugely OFFENDED by the rainbow flag now, because it represents hate and disdain against those who do not agree with the SCOTUS decision.” –Irene H

2003 Ratzinger on homosexual unions

Here’s a story that, in light of recent events, should be very familiar to us:

1. Church gets planted in San Francisco
2. Church hires musician to do the church music
3. Subsequently, it comes to light that said musician is a practicing homosexual
4. Musician is informed by the church that his lifestyle is not in accord with church doctrine
5. Musician tells church that he is not going to change
6. Musician is dismissed by church
7. Church gets sued for violation of local “gay rights” ordinance.

This might have happened just last week, but the series of events I’m referring to took place in 1978, nearly 40 years ago.

The end is coming

2015_05 Gessen on abolition of marriage

For years same-sex marriage advocates have knowingly lied and deceived the public. They first claimed that they simply wanted the right to ‘marry’ the person they love. And yet where same-sex marriage has been approved, a tiny percentage of gay people got married.

They claimed homosexuality was genetic, but now say ‘gender’ and ‘sexual identity’ is a choice.

They claimed the mantle of tolerance and diversity — and yet have betrayed those same principles in attacking anyone that disagrees. Speak up for marriage in any public place today and you will be shamed and shunned, or worse.

So what is really at stake?

For many in the LGBT movement, the marriage debate is merely a proxy for a much larger revolution underway. Their end goal is to destroy marriage altogether, including the family, religion, and any institution that proposes limits on human behavior, especially sexual behavior.

Prepare for the Rapture

Daniel Bongino:  Yesterday the Supreme Court “deferred” to the people and their legislators to defend liberalism. Today the Supreme Court ignored the people and their legislators to do the same. We have become completely unmoored from any judicial or constitutional restraint.

2015_06 Religious freedom

1 Tim 1:4 Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the last times some will turn away from the faith by paying attention to deceitful spirits and demonic instructions 2 through the hypocrisy of liars with branded consciences. 3 They forbid marriage and require abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

2 Tim 3:1 But understand this: there will be terrifying times in the last days. 2 People will be self-centered and lovers of money, proud, haughty, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, irreligious, 3 callous, implacable, slanderous, licentious, brutal, hating what is good, 4 traitors, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 as they make a pretense of religion but deny its power. Reject them.

2 Tim 4:3 For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers 4 and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths.

Pelosi condemns Rubio because Baltimore Catechism

Marco Rubio:

“We are at the water’s edge of the argument that mainstream Christian teaching is hate speech. Because today we’ve reached the point in our society where if you do not support same-sex marriage, you are labeled a homophobe and a hater …. the next step is to argue that the teachings of mainstream Christianity, the catechism of the Catholic Church, is hate speech.

Nancy Pelosi:

I thoroughly disagree (with Rubio’s opposition to gay marriage), being raised in a Catholic family … the Baltimore Catechism, to get back to our hometown of Baltimore, was what we were raised on. And I think that this statement by Senator Rubio is most unfortunate. It’s a polarizing statement. The fact is, is that what we’re taught was to respect people in our faith and to say that this endangers mainstream Christian thinking is so completely wrong.”

Granted, there’s nobody around so this will go largely unseen but there are times when one just has to vent. I am as sick and tired as most people are of a small minority flaunting their perverse lifestyle and bullying those of us who view this as being abhorrent behavior. They have a disregard for our accepted social norms, as do muslims but for different reasons.

Christian Bakery Ordered to Pay $135,000 to Lesbian Couple
I would say this is unbelievable, but unfortunately, it’s not.

The Oregonian reports:

The lesbian couple turned away by a Gresham bakery that refused to make them a wedding cake for religious reasons should receive $135,000 in damages for their emotional suffering, a state hearings officer says.

Rachel Bowman-Cryer should collect $75,000 and her wife, Laurel Bowman-Cryer, $60,000 from the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa, an administrative law judge for the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries said in a proposed order released Friday, April 24.

“This is a proposed order and we view this matter as continuing to be active litigation,” Paul Thompson, a lawyer for the Bowman-Cryers, said.

Anna Harmon, one of three attorneys representing Aaron and Melissa Klein, said, “It’s a shocking result and it shows the state’s relentless campaign to punish Oregonians who live and work according to their faith.”

“Support Sweet Cakes by Melissa” GoFundMe Page Violates Terms

As for the decision, BOLI issued the following statement on Friday regarding the agency’s Proposed Order in the Sweet Cakes case: “The facts of this case clearly demonstrate that the Kleins’ unlawfully discriminated against the Complainants. Under Oregon law, businesses cannot discriminate or refuse service based on sexual orientation, just as they cannot turn customers away because of race, sex, disability, age or religion. Our agency is committed to fair and thorough enforcement of Oregon civil rights laws, including the Equality Act of 2007.”
Late on Friday GoFundMe stopped the Sweet Cakes campaign. Via GoFundMe: “After careful review by our team, we have found the “Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa” campaign to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions. The money raised thus far will still be made available for withdrawal. While a different campaign was recently permitted for a pizzeria in Indiana, no laws were violated and the campaign remained live. However, the subjects of the “Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa” campaign have been formally charged by local authorities and found to be in violation of Oregon state law concerning discriminatory acts. Accordingly, the campaign has been disabled.”

Gay Group Cancels Charity Because Gay Hotel Owners Spoke Well of Ted Cruz
On Thursday, April 23, an openly gay hotel owner remarked on his Facebook page that he had accepted the opportunity to speak with GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz about LGBT issues.

Only a few hours passed before militant gays began to attack the man for daring to even speak to Cruz. Now, a day later, a gay organization has actually canceled a charity event at the hotel over the conversation.

Of course: Facebook page calls for boycott of gay businessmen who hosted reception for Ted Cruz.
Update: Charity cancels event in protest
Cruz’s statement about the reception last night was strong:

“It speaks volumes that the New York Times considers it newsworthy that a Republican who believes marriage is between a man and a woman would meet with people who hold a different view. The purpose of the meeting and the primary topics of conversation were national security, foreign policy, and America’s commitment to standing with Israel. On the subject of marriage, when asked, I stated directly and unambiguously what everyone in the room already knew, that I oppose gay marriage and I support traditional marriage…

“A conservative Republican who is willing to meet with individuals who do not agree on marriage and who loves his daughters unconditionally may not reflect the caricature of conservatives promoted by the left, but it’s hardly newsworthy.

Militant Progressives Message to America: Even Gays Will Be Made To Care

If you thought it would end with small town pizza parlors in Indiana and Oregon cake bakers, you would be wrong. The enforcement of militant liberal orthodoxy, having claimed a few scalps from moderate-income Christian business owners, now sets its sights even higher.

Our Editor Erick said over two years ago that “You Will Be Made To Care” and most people thought he was speaking just to evangelical Christians. Who would have guessed such a short time ago that the leftist thought police had much bigger plans in store. Everyone, and I mean everyone, will be brought to heel.

Big Gay Hate Machine Attempts to Take Over Congress

Rep. Jared Polis (D-CO), a liberal from Colorado, just introduced a bill designed to make it illegal for his colleague Rep. Steve King (R-IA) to be a legislator—a position King, like Polis, is elected to under the terms laid out by the U.S. Constitution. Polis ostensibly introduced his bill, titled the “Restrain Steve King From Legislating Act,” in response to King introducing legislation that would ensure states—and not the federal government—handle the issue of same-sex marriage.

“For too long, Steve King has overstepped his constitutionally nonexistent judicial authority,” Polis said in a statement posted on his website. “Mr. King has perverted the Constitution to create rights to things such as discrimination, bullying, and disparate treatment.

Marriage is a 3-legged stool

3 legged heart stool

Marriage is a three-legged stool. The wife is one leg; the husband is another; and the marriage is the third. God sits on the stool and the children sit on His lap. The secret to a blessed, joyful family is to keep the three legs of the stool even and strong.

When husband and wife agree or can compromise, there’s no problem. But sometimes issues come up where there simply is no compromise. It’s gotta be either his way or her way. That is when you must not fall into thinking marriage is 50-50, that’s it’s just about husband and wife or husband vs. wife.

The third leg matters. Give it a vote. Consider which of the two choices are best for the whole marriage, including God and the kids. Sometimes the right decision will come clear and the partner who doesn’t get his/her choice can more easily accept losing without resentment.

But when you cannot work through it on your own, decide jointly on an impartial, but Godly arbiter. It doesn’t need to be a minister, but that’s often the best choice. The important thing is that you agree together beforehand that you both trust this person to hear both sides and cast the deciding vote for the marriage.

Dearest and I have had a few deal-breaking level issues in our 35 years. One time, we picked a priest, another a marriage counselor, and a third time, we went to a financial counselor. The key thing was that we both agreed that we each had only 1/3 – not 1/2 – stake in the marriage and that this person would be the one to cast the tie-breaking third vote on behalf of the marriage itself.
