Unequal standards of law: The hallmark of oppressive governments

2015_12 Obama Lynch say something

Just to make sure everyone knows where the battle lines are drawn, Attorney General Loretta Lynch went before a Muslim group to announce that she now intends to prosecute anyone who voices anti-Muslim opinions which “edge toward violence,” whatever the heck that means.

But apparently, calls for violence are still peachy keen and totally legal as long as the persons making those calls are of the same race and political disposition as the president and his legal toady.

How else to explain the fact that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan isn’t on Lynch’s radar for his frequent exhortations that white people need to die? And remember the black marchers following Al “Freddie’s Fashion Mart” Sharpton who chanted, “What do we want? DEAD COPS! When do we want them? NOW!” Days later, two officers were shot to death in their patrol car by a man who had said that this kind of anti-cop rhetoric was his inspiration.

But is Lynch prosecuting any of those people? Absolutely not. Rather, she’s just announced that she’s kicking off a big investigation to prosecute Irving school officials and police officers who believed “See something, Say something” was a good idea when Ahmed the Suspicious Timing Device Maker flashed his “invention” all over a school then refused to talk about it.

2015_12 07 Lynch unequal standards by HopenChange

Let’s be clear: Hope n’ Change never has and never will support or tolerate calls for violence against any religious or ethnic group. But what Lynch is doing serves only to further divide our nation by applying unequal standards of law.

Two Faces One Hatred

Dylann Roof, the angry young white man who murdered nine black people in a Charleston church said he did it in hopes of inciting a race war. The Leftists immediately labeled him a “right wing hater.” Logic is not one of their strong suits. Dylann has far more in common with the far left.

Farrakhan vs. Giuliani

2015_02 22 Farrakhan calls Giuliani cracker devil

Sunday, Feb 22, 2015 at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago during his annual Saviours’ Day speech, Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan attacked former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani for his controversial opinion that President Obama doesn’t love America.

Farrakhan said, “How did you grow up, Giuliani? A privileged cracker? Or I should say, a privileged devil.”

Cracker? Devil? Really? In church? On a Sunday?  Plus, can anyone explain to me why this man, who HATES America, should have some problem with someone else saying that maybe his bff in the White House might not love America?  I mean … seriously?!

Does anyone else remember when the press made a big honkin’ deal about a prayer Sarah Palin offered at her church for our troops in harm’s way? Cuz yeah … THAT was really terrible. :oP

Does anyone care to take some action on how soon members of the MSM who have nagged Republicans for comments about Giuliani’s remark will nag Democrats for comments about Farrakhan’s remark!?  Cuz if you do, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.

As for “privileged devil” … puh-leeze.

  • Louis Farrakhan was born in The Bronx, the younger of two sons of immigrants from the Caribbean islands.
  • Rudy Giuliani was born in Brooklyn, the only child of working-class parents who were both first-generation immigrants from Italy.
  • Louis Farrakhan’s family was active in the Episcopal Church.
  • Rudy Giuliani’s family was active in the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Louis Farrakhan was a gifted violinist who had played with the Boston College Orchestra and the Boston Civic Symphony by the time he turned 13. A year later, he went on to win national competitions, then became one of the first black performers to appear on the Ted Mack Original Amateur Hour, where he also won an award.
  • Rudy Giuliani had a lisp and got into trouble with the law, doing time at Sing Sing on felony assault and robbery charges.
  • Louis Farrakhan attended the prestigious Boston Latin School and the English High School. He completed three years at Winston-Salem Teachers College, where he had a track scholarship.
  • Rudy Giuliani attended Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School.  He was graduated in 1965 from Manhattan College in Riverdale, The Bronx, and in 1968 from New York University School of Law in Manhattan.

A&E Lifts Phil Robertson’s Suspension; ‘Duck Dynasty’ To Resume Filming In Spring

Here’s their statement:

Our values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect. We believe it is a privilege for our brands to be invited into people’s home and we operate with a strong sense of integrity and deep commitment to these principals.

That is why we reacted so quickly and strongly to a recent interview with Phil Robertson. While Phil’s comments made in the interview reflect his personal views based on his own beliefs, and his own personal journey, he and his family have publicly stated they regret the “coarse language” he used and the mis-interpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article. He also made it clear he would “never incite or encourage hate.” We at A&E Networks expressed our disappointment with his statements in the article, and reiterate that they are not views we hold.

But Duck Dynasty is not a show about one man’s views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family… a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A+E Networks also feel strongly about.

So after discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family.

We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio.

Translation:we’re not about to throw away hundreds of millions of dollars to mollify a bunch of rump rangers.

Never satisfied,the jock-sniffers released their so-angry-I-could-just-spit response:

Text of GLAAD’s response: “Phil Robertson should look African American and gay people in the eyes and hear about the hurtful impact of praising Jim Crow laws and comparing gay people to terrorists. If dialogue with Phil is not part of next steps then A+E has chosen profits over African American and gay people – especially its employees and viewers.”

Notice they had to include the Homies. Even though blacks could care less.
Human Rights Campaign assured ‘Duck Dynasty’ family will work with LGBT groups

It didn’t take very long for A&E to find out that people of faith went way beyond the Bible belt. In any confrontation,it’s always paramount to know your opponent. The network never dreamed that the Robertsons would not hesitate to walk away from the show because money is not their sole motivating factor,as it is with most liberals. They also do not see that we’ve been mocked, ridiculed and demeaned for as long as we’re going to. The network may already have done irreparable harm to their brand after the ‘indefinite suspension’ of Phil Robertson which lasted all of 8 days.

“The Man Who Would Be Dictator”
By Burt Prelutsky – Friday, May 11, 2012

Excerpt: How do I hate Barack Obama? I might spin Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s immortal words and say, “Let me count the ways. I hate him to the depth and breadth and height my soul can reach.” But even that doesn’t quite cover the contempt I have for this past and present community agitator.

Fifty long years after Martin Luther King suggested we judge a person by his character, this slug is still waging race warfare. While we are all well-aware that he is basing his entire re-election campaign on separating Americans and playing to wealth envy, religious differences and even engendering gender divisions, it is his insistence on stoking up racial hatred that makes him the archenemy of everything decent that America represents.

Only Obama would have made the openly racist Eric Holder his attorney general. Only Obama would have remained silent when Holder refused to indict the Black Panthers for voter intimidation. Only Obama would have said that Trayvon Martin reminded him of the son he never had.

On the other hand, only Obama would have remained silent when his cohorts, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, converged on Sanford, Florida, and incited the black mobs to demand George Zimmerman’s bloodied head on a platter. Only Obama would have prevented his Department of Justice from demanding that the Black Panthers be indicted for offering a bounty on young Mr. Zimmerman, dead or alive.
