In May of 2015, the Obama administration made one of its more shocking and unacceptable power grabs with the EPA’s Waters of the United States rule.
This rule defined almost all fresh water, including puddles, to be subject to federal oversight and regulation.
President Trump is going to reverse the rule probably this week.

The new EPA administrator, Scott Pruitt, told a crowd of career bureaucrats that the EPA will follow the law, not invent it.
This will be a dramatic departure from the EPA of the last eight years under Barack Obama, who used the agency to regulate massive swathes of land, water and resources, placing them out of reach of state control.
President Donald Trump’s executive orders will officially be rolling back the Obama-era policies on climate change and water pollution and Pruitt intends to implement the changes.

And the Obama Sheeple know it. According to Hot Air, EPA employees were so upset after Trump won that they had to take sick leave. And a few days ago, an unnamed employee reported more than a few friends were still coming to work in tears.
But for those who are more committed to science than to politics, things are looking up. In December, the House Science, Space and Technology Committee issued a report on their investigation into the firing of an Energy Department scientist.
The committee determined there to be an institutional disregard for separation of powers that amounted to “a reckless and calculated attack on the legislative process itself, which undermines the power of Congress to legislate.”
“Institutional disregard” is a polite way of saying that the Obama administration was so determined to have its own way that it actually forbade Energy Dept scientists from giving Congress information about their work and fired one who gave Congress information requested.
Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, chairman of the committee, said, “In this staff report based on lengthy record before the committee, much has been revealed about how senior level agency officials under the Obama administration retaliated against a scientist who did not follow the party line.”
“Moving forward, the department needs to overhaul its management practices to ensure that Congress is provided the information it requires to legislate and that federal employees and scientists who provide that information do so without fear of retribution.”

Secret Service gone wild: Agents hiring hookers in Columbia, a fence jumper penetrating the White House, and tipsy Secret Service officials driving their car into a security barrier.
Shutdown theater: Obama hit the American people hard during the great government shutdown crisis of 2013, doing everything he could to make American citizens feel maximum pain – from using “Barry-cades” to keep war veterans away from their memorials, to releasing illegal alien criminals from detention centers.

Commissioner of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries Brad Avakian gained infamy when he fined a Christian bakery with $135,000 for refusing to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple. Avakian looked to move up in the state government by attempting to run for Secretary of State. His campaign claimed that he would use his office to come down hard on corporations with audits, use his governmental powers to protect the environment, and police workplace pay.

Nov 10, 2016: A landmark report by the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (WDEQ) was released today showing the wells in Pavillion, Wyoming, were contamined NOT by fracking, but by the piss poor job the EPA did in drilling the water-quality monitoring wells.
WDEQ officials have also asked the EPA to plug and abandon those two faulty monitoring wells citing the “potential hazard they pose.”
In other news, a five-year study conducted by Obama’s EPA found ZERO evidence that fracking contaminates drinking water anywhere.
