New Study Calls EPA’s Labeling Of CO2 A Pollutant ‘Totally False’

The study claims to have “proven that it is all but certain that EPA’s basic claim that CO2 is a pollutant is totally false,” according to a press statement put out by Drs. Jim Wallace, John Christy, and Joe D’Aleo. Wallace, Christy and D’Aleo — a statistician, a climatologist and meteorologist, respectively — released a study claiming to invalidate EPA’s 2009 endangerment finding, which allowed the agency to regulate CO2 as a pollutant.

Former Obama Official: Bureaucrats Manipulate Climate Stats To Influence Policy

Former Energy Department Undersecretary Steven Koonin told The Wall Street Journal Monday that bureaucrats within former President Barack Obama’s administration spun scientific data to manipulate public opinion.
“What you saw coming out of the press releases about climate data, climate analysis, was, I’d say, misleading, sometimes just wrong,” Koonin said, referring to elements within the Obama administration he said were responsible for manipulating climate data.

Obama to net $400K for Wall Street speech: report
The former president’s reported speaking fee is nearly twice the price commanded by Hillary Clinton, the 2016 Democratic presidential nominee.
Obama reappeared on the public stage Monday, making his first public remarks since leaving the White House at the future site of his presidential library.
The former president did not mention President Trump or offer political commentary during his appearance at the University of Chicago.

Josh Earnest: Obama will jump in and criticize the new administration if Trump crosses any, er, “red lines”
I know what you’re thinking because I’m thinking it too, as is everyone who worked for the Obama administration on foreign policy: “Since when does Obama enforce red lines?”
Actually I suspect you’ll find him enforcing lots of moral “red lines” in the future, now that all that’s required of him is giving a speech to an adoring media peppered with lots of that’s-not-who-we-ares. That was 80 percent of his presidency but it’ll be 99 percent of his retirement.
Enjoy the irony of Earnest flagging as an example of a “red line” any potential efforts by Team Trump to start rounding up and deporting DREAMers. I … don’t think you need to worry, Josh. Things change but DACA stays the same!

Obama Uses Race Card To Take Shot At Hillary Clinton

Obama was telling the panel about how he visited with at-risk youth on Sunday ahead of his appearance at the University of Chicago.
“If the six of you had been in that conversation, you would have come away not saying ‘these are some thugs or super-predators that I can’t relate to.’ You’d actually say, ‘man, if I had gone through what they went through I’m not sure how things would have worked out me either,’” Obama told the panel.
Obama choice of the term “super-predator” is an apparent reference to comments that Hilary Clinton made in 1996 that caused a considerable backlash in both of the Clintons’ presidential campaigns.

Up to 60 Teens Swarm San Francisco Commuter Train, Robbing and Beating Passengers
Officials say the robbery was planned like a Blitzkrieg with the teens swarming the station, forcing the traindoors open, rushing into the train and robbing passengers, and then disappearing into an East Oakland neighborhood — all in a matter of minutes.
The teens exited the train and disappeared into the surrounding East Oakland neighborhood.
Police will not release the video or still shots of the surveillance for fear that some of the suspects are minors
Whenever someone complains about the media blackout on the racial makeup of criminals and thugs, the response is usually something like “it’s not relevant to the story” or “we don’t want to upset the local minority community by appearing to single out criminals.”
My response is always: How can the race of the perpetrator not be relevant to the story? Or the race of the victim for that matter.

3 arrested after mob attacks officers at California college event

As the officers got out of the car, two officers were attacked by several people and beaten on the ground

Three men were arrested following an attack on Davis police officers who encountered a group of people blocking traffic on a busy roadway during Saturday’s Picnic Day at UC Davis.
The annual campus open house has become known in recent years for violence and drunken mayhem, mainly on the streets of the normally quiet college town.
A hostile group quickly surrounded the vehicle. Several people began yelling threats at the officers in the car, and one person pretended he was pulling a gun on the officers, the news release said.
As the officers got out of the car and began to identify themselves as police, two officers were attacked by several people and beaten on the ground. Police reported that the officers were kicked and punched in the head, and one officer was struck on the side of the head with a bottle.
As they were being assaulted, the officers could see people in the crowd taking video of the attack on their cell phones, according to the news release.

Under Trump, your puddles will belong to you

In May of 2015, the Obama administration made one of its more shocking and unacceptable power grabs with the EPA’s Waters of the United States rule.

This rule defined almost all fresh water, including puddles, to be subject to federal oversight and regulation.

President Trump is going to reverse the rule probably this week.

Judge Napolitano explains the depth of the problem with this rule.

A new sheriff is at the EPA

The new EPA administrator, Scott Pruitt, told a crowd of career bureaucrats that the EPA will follow the law, not invent it.

This will be a dramatic departure from the EPA of the last eight years under Barack Obama, who used the agency to regulate massive swathes of land, water and resources, placing them out of reach of state control.

President Donald Trump’s executive orders will officially be rolling back the Obama-era policies on climate change and water pollution and Pruitt intends to implement the changes.

There’s a new boss in town

And the Obama Sheeple know it.  According to Hot Air,  EPA employees were so upset after Trump won that they had to take sick leave.  And a few days ago, an unnamed employee reported more than a few friends were still coming to work in tears.

But for those who are more committed to science than to politics, things are looking up.  In December, the House Science, Space and Technology Committee issued a report on their investigation into the firing of an Energy Department scientist.

The committee determined there to be an institutional disregard for separation of powers that amounted to “a reckless and calculated attack on the legislative process itself, which undermines the power of Congress to legislate.”

“Institutional disregard” is a polite way of saying that the Obama administration was so determined to have its own way that it actually forbade Energy Dept scientists from giving Congress information about their work and fired one who gave Congress information requested.

Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, chairman of the committee, said, “In this staff report based on lengthy record before the committee, much has been revealed about how senior level agency officials under the Obama administration retaliated against a scientist who did not follow the party line.”

“Moving forward, the department needs to overhaul its management practices to ensure that Congress is provided the information it requires to legislate and that federal employees and scientists who provide that information do so without fear of retribution.”

18 Major Scandals in Obama’s ‘Scandal-Free’ Presidency

They’re saying “Obama’s presidency was scandal-free” but that don’t make it so.  Here’s a short list from Breitbart of the many scandals Team Obama would like us to forget:

The great “stimulus” heist: A trillion dollars wasted on economic “stimulus” spending that created virtually zero private-sector jobs.  A great deal of that money apparently vanished into thin air.

Operation Fast and Furious: The Obama administration’s insane program to arm Mexican drug lords resulted in the deaths of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Jamie Zapata, plus hundreds of Mexican citizens.

AG Eric Holder held in contempt of Congress: Holder was the first sitting member of any president’s cabinet to earn this distinction.  Of course, Democrats closed ranks behind Holder, the White House protected him, and the media allowed him to spin the contempt vote as mere “political theater.”

ObamaCare: Everything about ObamaCare is a scandal, from the President’s incessant lies about keeping your old plan if you liked it, to Rep. Nancy Pelosi’s insane statement “We need to pass it to find out what’s in it.”

Spying on journalists: Establishment media came about as close to falling out of love with Barack Obama as ever when his administration was caught spying on journalists.

The IRS scandal: A highly politicized IRS admitted to selectively targeting conservative groups, then brazenly lied about not having backups of relevant computer data.

Benghazi: Libya was a disaster after Obama’s unlawful military operation. Ambassador Christopher Stevens was sent into a known terrorist hot zone without sufficient security. And the Obama administration knowingly told a false story during the first few weeks after the attack.

Hillary Clinton’s secret server: She perpetrated her email offenses while working as Obama’s Secretary of State and he knew about it.

The Pigford scandal: The abuse of a program meant to compensate minority farmers for racial discrimination exploded under Obama.

NSA spying scandal: Snowden’s pilfering of sensitive National Security Agency data was a debacle that damaged national security. President Obama and his administration made many false statements as they tried to contain the political damage.

Bowe Bergdahl:  The prisoner swap that freed him from the Taliban and its allies was riddled with lies, illegal activity, and bad judgment.

Iran nuclear deal and ransom payment: Everything about Obama’s dealings with Iran has been scandalous, beginning with his silence while the Green Revolution was brutally put down by the mullahs in 2009. The Iran nuclear deal was pushed with lies and media manipulation. The infamous pallet of cash that wasn’t a ransom has become symbolic of Obama’s mendacity and penchant for breaking the rules, when he thinks following them is too much trouble.

Polluting the Colorado river: The Environmental Protection Agency managed to turn the Colorado River orange under this greenest of green Presidents. Of course there was a cover-up.

The GSA scandal: The General Services Administration was caught wasting ridiculous amounts of taxpayer money on lavish parties and silly projects.  Of course there was a cover-up.

The VA death-list scandal: Veterans were put on secret death lists while executives handed in phony status reports and signed themselves up for big bonuses.

Solyndra: Billions of taxpayer dollars were wasted financing companies with absurdly unrealistic business models, because the owners had supported Obama’s campaign.

Secret Service gone wild:  Agents hiring hookers in Columbia, a fence jumper penetrating the White House, and tipsy Secret Service officials driving their car into a security barrier.

Shutdown theater:  Obama hit the American people hard during the great government shutdown crisis of 2013, doing everything he could to make American citizens feel maximum pain – from using “Barry-cades” to keep war veterans away from their memorials, to releasing illegal alien criminals from detention centers.
