Journalists Retell Their Election Night Horror Stories
‘People were throwing up. People were on the floor crying’
“Crooked Media” podcast host and former senior political correspondent for MTV News Ana Marie Cox recalled how some of her friends worried about their future.
“A Muslim colleague of mine called his mother. She was worried he was going to be the victim of violence at any moment,” Cox said. “A colleague who is gay and married was on the phone with her wife saying, ‘They’re not going to take this damn ring away from me.'”
Editor of the New Yorker David Remnick discussed his sudden revelation that journalists need to “put pressure on power,” once Trump was elected.

Trump’s Koigate Is Fake News Spun by Shameless White House Press Corps
An otherwise uneventful photo op with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has been falsely spun by the White House press corps as a massive diplomatic blunder.
During the photo op, Trump and Abe were feeding koi in a pond below the balcony with spoons.
After several spoonfuls, PM Abe dumps his box of fish food into the pond. Trump follows in kind.

CNN Deceptively Edits to Preserve Anti-Trump Narrative

Fox News yanks Tom Steyer ad calling for Trump’s impeachment
What was Fox thinking agreeing to run his ad in the first place, let alone running it during “Fox & Friends,” POTUS’s favorite show? Steyer must have paid them a small fortune to make it worth their while, knowing how Trump himself and Fox’s extremely pro-Trump audience would react.

Menendez could remain in Senate even if he’s convicted
Republicans would likely try to expel the New Jersey lawmaker, but Democrats are expected to delay.
But expelling Menendez — even if he is convicted of a felony — might not be that easy.
Republicans need a two-thirds majority in the Senate to agree to expel a member, which means they would need Democratic votes. With partisan tensions so high — Democrats are still bitter that Republicans denied President Barack Obama’s Supreme Court nominee Merrick Garland the seat last year, among a host of other issues — they are in no mood to cooperate with the GOP majority.

Democrat Ted Lieu Walks Out of Moment of Silence for Texas Victims
My colleagues right now are doing a moment of silence in the House of Representatives chambers. I respect their right to do that, and I myself have participated in many of them.
But I can’t do this again. I’ve been to too many moments of silences [sic]. In just my short career in Congress, three of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history have occurred. I will not be silent.

The heroes of Sutherland Springs
Any gun-control measure that is sweeping enough to make a dent in the country’s gun stock and render gun ownership difficult enough to, at the margins, keep firearms out of the hands of psychopaths will inevitably affect law-abiding people as well. In places like rural Texas that would rightly be considered a serious imposition.
Without a gun, if something goes wrong, the only option is sitting and waiting for the authorities to show up.
And the likes of Stephen Willeford and Johnnie Langendorff, obviously, aren’t the waiting kind.

Kellyanne Conway Turns the Tables on CNN’s Brian Stelter
CNN has unfortunately, as Conway correctly notes, recast itself from a network that at least pretended not to be liberal – which introduced an element of balance into its coverage – to one that is clearly over on the left with MSNBC.
So, faced immediately with a predictably hostile line of questioning, Conway fought back and made CNN the issue instead of President Trump.

The obligatory “If you ask for a ‘lawyer dog,’ are you invoking your right to counsel?” post
A few days old but no less shocking with the passage of time.
“This is how I feel, if y’all think I did it, I know that I didn’t do it so why don’t you just give me a lawyer dog ’cause this is not what’s up.” The punctuation, arguably critical to Demesme’s use of the sobriquet “dog,” was provided by the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s office in a brief, and then adopted by Louisiana Associate Supreme Court Justice Scott J. Crichton.
The charges: Aggravated rape and indecent behavior with a juvenile. That’s heavy stuff, not the sort of defendant whom a judge is eager to let walk away on a technicality. What happened here, I think, is that the court went looking for a reason to ignore Demesme’s request for an attorney, fearing that he was a very dangerous offender, and seized on that conditional “if y’all think I did it” to claim that he never unambiguously asked for one

Day of Reckoning in Virginia

There’s been a pitched battle taking place in Virginia for months. It will all come to a head today. Ed Gillespie, former head of the RNC and Vietnam veteran is facing a typical socialist hack named Ralph Northam to replace the vile, repugnant Terry Mcauliffe. McAuliffe literally stole the governor’s mansion with illegal votes and looks like he has plans to do it again in the future. Democrats just can’t let go… ever.

Democrats Getting Last Minute Willies In VA Gov Race, And Did Ralph Northam Lie About His Military Career?
In a few hours, the polls will open in Virginia. Democratic candidate Ralph Northam, the lieutenant governor of the state, is in a tight race with Republican Ed Gillespie. This shouldn’t have been a big issue for Democrats. Incumbent Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe is popular. It’s the only southern state that Hillary Clinton won. It’s trending bluish—and Donald Trump is not popular here. And yet, here we are—one of the most critical races of the year, though some Virginia voters probably don’t even know that tomorrow is Election Day.

Jill Vogel on Tuesday’s Virginia Election: ‘This Will Define the Future of Virginia for a Generation’
Virginia Republican lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Jill Vogel told Matthew Boyle, Breitbart News’s Washington political editor, on Breitbart News Saturday SiriusXM Patriot Channel 125 that Tuesday’s Virginia election “will define the future of Virginia for a generation.”
Vogel added, “I have never seen an election where the stakes were higher or where the rhetoric and the vile nature of the messaging from the Democrats had such an impact on an election

Barbara Favola Calls Virginia Republicans ‘Evil’

Things Fall Apart: Last Days Of Virginia Governor’s Race Has Democrats In A ‘Circular Firing Squad’
Northam, who is the lieutenant governor of the state, boasted about being the deciding vote in the state Senate that blocked banning sanctuary cities. The Virginia Democrat surely isn’t acting like he’s in the lead. In fact, the attacks on Republican Ed Gillespie in the past few days have reeked of desperation. There must be something in the internal polling that has him and his people spooked because this has become a campaign that seems to be going off the hinges. First, Democracy for Action, the progressive group that called Northam’s campaign “racist” after the sanctuary city position reversal.
DFAaction announced tonight it would no longer support @RalphNortham, called his campaign “racist”

Northam Insists There is Enthusiasm And Unity in Governor’s Race

Ralph Northam’s Top Ten Blunders During Virginia Governor Race
Virginia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Ralph Northam’s campaign experienced many setbacks during his race for Virginia governor against Republican candidate Ed Gillespie.
Ten of Ralph Northam’s greatest blunders are:

PBS Analyst: If Dems Lose In Virginia, It’ll Be ‘Close to Civil War Within the Democratic Party’
With statewide elections on Tuesday in Virginia and New Jersey, the PBS NewsHour week-in-review segment strangely focused on Democrats for a change. Liberal analyst Mark Shields shocked PBS anchor Judy Woodruff by saying if Virginia’s Democratic candidate for governor, Ralph Northam, can’t defeat Republican Ed Gillespie with his alleged Trump baggage, there will be hell to pay:
But I will say this, that it’s proof, more than anything else, to me of how little Barack Obama cared about the Democratic Party or about politics. He was great at getting elected. He got a national majority twice in a row. Nobody had done that since Eisenhower. He was leaving the party $24 million in debt, therefore, vulnerable to Hillary Clinton’s coterie of big givers. Bernie Sanders didn’t have big givers, as we know.

Republican Ed Gillespie: A Reagan conservative tries to appeal and prevail in the age of Trump
Gillespie, communications ace, former lobbyist, and senior aide to President George W. Bush, will find out Tuesday if Virginia voters will send a Reagan conservative to the Virginia governor’s mansion in the era of Donald Trump.
Should Gillespie succeed, he would become the first Republican elected statewide in Virginia since Bob McDonnell led his party’s sweep of statewide offices in 2009. He would likely have a GOP-controlled legislature to pass a broad agenda of bills he could sign into law.

Wanda Sykes Urges Virginia Residents To Vote Against White Supremacy Enablers In Election PSA

“When the violence of White Supremacists in Charlottesville Virginia shocked the nation, Republican president Donald Trump failed to condemn it,” Sykes says in the 80-second clip. “In Virginia, the Republican candidate for Governor, Ed Gillespie, who has been endorsed by Donald Trump, has been complicit.”

Virginia Gov. (and Longtime Clinton Pal) Terry McAuliffe Rips Brazile Book: ‘Nobody Cares’
Appearing on MSNBC with Katy Tur, McAuliffe — himself a former DNC chair — didn’t mince words when asked about Brazile’s claims.
“Nobody cares about what Donna Brazile has said in a book,” McAuliffe said. “Nobody.”
“Let me be clear, and you can play this back on Wednesday morning,” McAuliffe told Tur. “We are going to win the governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general [races].”
The chat concluded with a cringe-worthy exchange between Tur — who’d pressed on the softening poll numbers and the Donna Brazile claims — and McAuliffe.
“Katy, you gotta enjoy life a little bit more,” McAuliffe said.

D.C. Democratic Mayor: Gillespie’s Tax Cuts Are Going to ‘Kill Us’

Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser (D.) spoke on Saturday at a “Get Out The Vote” canvassing event in Arlington, Va. where she claimed Virginia Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie’s tax cuts will “kill us.”
Speaking with Democratic supporters and campaign volunteers, Bowser talked about the importance of believing “climate change is real” and said Democrats will focus on transportation and education before mentioning Republican candidate Ed Gillespie’s plan for tax cuts.

This post will likely meander from here to there, occasionally making sense, but most of the time not. In other words, the usual babble.

Anti-Trump Prince Alwaleed – a BIG Clinton DONOR – is Jailed in Corruption Sweep in Saudi Arabia

In December 2015 Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal slammed Donald Trump for proposing a ban on Muslim immigrants in the US until the government could alleviate security concerns.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is a top Clinton Foundation donor.

Campus Watch reported:   Some are upset that the Clinton Foundation accepted donations from Middle Eastern countries with terrible records on women’s rights. In “Hillary Clinton Faces Test of Record as Women’s Advocate,” the New York Times writes:

Saudi Arabia has been a particularly generous benefactor to the Clinton Foundation, giving at least $10 million since 2001, according to foundation disclosures. At least $1 million more was donated by Friends of Saudi Arabia, co-founded by a Saudi Prince.

On Sunday Prince Alaweed was arrested in a corruption sweep.

Sen. Rand Paul Assaulted by Next-door Neighbor

“Paul told troopers that his neighbor came onto his property and tackled him from behind, forcing him to the ground and causing pain.”

“Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault. The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police,” says Kelsey Cooper, State Communications Director for Office of U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

[CtH: I read on Facebook that Rand suffered serious rib fractures, not just cracked, but actually broken.]

Alabama Fan Puts Cigarette In Face Of Cop, Gets Dragged Out
One Alabama fan decided to try and press her luck Saturday night at Bryant-Denny stadium by enjoying a smoke break from her seat when a police officer asked her to put it out.

Sarcastically, she puts the cigarette up to the officer’s face, almost as if she was offering him a drag.

The officer was not amused, as he brought out the handcuffs immediately.

Trump greets Japanese emperor with a handshake and nod – but no bow
U.S. President Donald Trump greeted Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko on Monday with a genteel handshake and nod, but no bow, avoiding the pitfall of U.S. President Barack Obama who was criticized at home for his deep bow to the monarch.
Hillary Clinton shook hands and air-kissed the empress on both cheeks, then took her hand as they entered the palace when she met the royal pair as secretary of state in 2011, a month or so after the triple disasters of an earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown hit northeastern Japan in March of that year.

Democrats’ civil war isn’t bringing them closer to understanding why they lost
Much of the base wants to go “full Bernie,” and embrace free college and national health insurance. Yet this ignores the fact that Bernie Sanders did so well in the primaries mainly because Clinton was the same horrible candidate she’s always been.

This wing of the party thinks President Barack Obama was too centrist. Hmm: Is that why the party lost 14 governorships plus nine Senate and 60-plus House seats on his watch?

Shutdown threat growing over immigration fight
Democrats believe they have leverage to demand an immigration deal going into the end-of-year negotiations because GOP leadership will likely need their votes to keep the government open.

They are signaling, despite the decision from the president, that they will keep DACA in the December talks until Republicans show they can pass a spending bill on their own.
“Unless Republicans can keep the government open without Democratic votes, this is not their decision to make. I have yet to see any evidence that they will be able to do that,” said Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y., will begin his 21 month prison sentence on Monday after being found guilty of sexting a 15-year-old girl.  Weiner, 53, was sentenced in September after court papers showed that he repeatedly encouraged an underage girl to undress and fondle herself over Skype, The Daily News reported.

How the Mighty Have Fallen

They were the most feared power couple since Antony and Cleopatra. They ran roughshod over the democrat party and made a mockery of the rule of law. Bill Clinton was the most accomplished liar of his time and his partner spent her time committing fraud and outright theft, and made sure none of her husband’s sexual assault victims dared to breathe a word of what he did to them. From the day he left office in January of 2001 it was assumed Hillary would be given the reins of power after George W. Bush.

Then the dupes in the enslaved press fell madly, blindly, passionately in love with a Chicago street hustler who attained absolutely everything he had on the basis of his race.
Frustrated because as a community organizer he knew how to stack caucuses in the early primaries, he eventually pushed her out. She’d previously been given a seat in the Senate from New York, where they slithered off to after leaving the White House (and stealing a lot of historic artifacts the Secret Service had to retrieve) because democrats outnumber republicans 3 to 1 there and she was a shoo-in after shoving out Nita Lowey, who was ordered to step aside to give Hillary the gig.

Apparently Obama made a deal to appoint her Secretary of State to get her out of town and allow her to pick up hundreds of millions from countries who expected payback after she assumed the throne that was rightfully hers. The whole world knew the Clintons operated a cash machine. Want anything? It’ll cost you. Like Charlie Trie once said: There was a turnstile at the front of the white House. You had to pay to get inside.

FAST FORWARD TO 2017: The mask is off. The democrat party no longer fears her. She has no power, wields no influence. The Clinton money laundering machine has ground to a halt because they have nothing to offer but bitterness and excuses about how it’s everybody else’s fault she was denied her destiny.

DNC chair almost replaced Hillary Clinton with Joe Biden as candidate after her collapse at 9/11 memorial

Brazile, in her tell-all memoir of the contentious 2016 presidential race, reveals she pondered yanking Clinton off the ballot after she collapsed while leaving a Ground Zero memorial service.

By then, the Clinton campaign was permeated by the “odor of failure” and Brazile thought the sitting vice president might energize the troops, according to The Washington Post.

“Again and again I thought about Joe Biden,” Brazile writes in the book. “(But) no matter my doubts and my fears about the election and Hillary as a candidate, I could not make good on my threat to replace her.”

Donna Brazile Unleashed! Clinton Campaign Treated Me Like “Slave” – Blasts Egomaniacs Obama & Wasserman Schultz

As one of her party’s most prominent black strategists, Brazile also recounts fiery disagreements with Clinton’s staffers — including a conference call in which she told three senior campaign officials, Charlie Baker, Marlon Marshall and Dennis Cheng, that she was being treated like a slave.

“I’m not Patsey the slave,” Brazile recalls telling them, a reference to the character played by Lupita Nyong’o in the film, “12 Years a Slave.” “Y’all keep whipping me and whipping me and you never give me any money or any way to do my damn job. I am not going to be your whipping girl!”

DNC Chairman Promises To Reform Party’s Presidential Nominating Process
Perez’s column on Medium, entitled “Making 2020 Transparent,” was a response to revelations by former interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile last week that in a signed agreement the committee had effectively surrendered its independence to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in August 2015 ― months before 2016 presidential primary voters went to the polls. Many supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) interpreted the news as confirmation that the party had treated him unfairly.

[CtH: The corruption of the DNC’s process was obvious in 2008, when Hillary actually won the nomination on votes, but they gave it to Obama anyway.]

Trump Is a ‘Blowhard,’ ‘I Don’t Like Him’ and I Voted for Hillary, George Bush Says in New Book

Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a “blowhard” and flatly stating he does not “like” him.

Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for “none of the above.”

Rats Abandoning H.M.S. Hillary

Donna Brazile, Lizzie Warren, and Donald Trump all agree on something. Never thought you’d see that, did you? They all agree…the fix was in for the democrat primary last year. Everybody knew it, they just didn’t want to say so. Well, now Donna “we’re not going to let the white boys win” Brazile is hawking a book aptly named HACKS.

Explosive Brazile Confession: Trump and Bernie Were Right, DNC Rigged Nomination For Hillary From the Start
In her forthcoming book, former DNC chair Donna Brazile absolutely unloads on her party, blasting Barack Obama for decimating the DNC’s finances, savaging the leadership of Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and confirming that yes, Hillary Clinton’s campaign had the party in its pocket long before she was its nominee.

2017_11 03 DNC Corruption

Stilton’s take on Hacks is worth a laugh or three:

Yesterday Marked The First Time Democrats Showed They Weren’t Scared Of The Clintons Anymore
The Ice Cube In Heels would do anything to get elected and felt entitled to the Democratic nomination and the presidency.

Losing the election was not about stolen emails and pilfered messages. The election of Donald Trump was about how the voters, including those forgotten Democratic voters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania were finally fed up with a party gone to seed.

Asked if DNC system was rigged in Clinton’s favor, Warren says ‘yes’

Asked Thursday by CNN’s Jake Tapper whether she believes that the Democratic campaign organization was tipped in favor of Clinton over her primary opponent, independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Warren responded without hesitation: “Yes.”

Wolf Blitzer: ‘Shocking’ Hillary Rigged DNC

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer said Thursday that it’s “shocking” that Hillary Clinton rigged the Democratic National Committee to secure her own presidential nomination.

[CtH: Further evidence of how thoroughly corrupt the Left Stream Media is.  THEY should’ve been screaming about this throughout 2012.]

In an interview with Democratic Indiana Rep. Andre Carson, Blitzer contended that it’s a “shocking revelation” that Clinton essentially bought off the DNC in exchange for control of the party’s finances and strategy.

Rep. Carson seemed unbothered by the story, stating that he thinks Brazile is “brilliant” and looks forward to reading her book.

Nets Refuse to Acknowledge Revelation Dem Primary Was ‘Rigged’ for Clinton
The reason the networks wanted to keep Brazile’s findings secret was simple: They didn’t want to ruin their narrative that Clinton was a pure angel who was a victim of Donald Trump and Russian collusion. But in recent weeks, it had come out that Clinton had the DNC in her pocket and they both were funneling money to Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele so they could work with Russian agents to get dirt on Donald Trump.

Confessore said that if Democrats don’t appeal to these voters, they will continue to be a “minority party for years to come.”

Sub-Chicago and America’s Real Crime Rate

Neighborhood, not citywide, crime data show how deadly some portions of American cities have become—especially Chicago’s West and South Sides.

During the 365-day period beginning June 7, 2016, Chicago had 711 first- and second-degree homicides. Of those, 556 (or 78.1 percent) occurred in just ten of the city’s police districts. Those districts—which are contiguous—constitute a geographical area almost half the city’s size and house 40.3 percent of the city’s nearly 2.7 million residents.

Democrats calling out Democrats for CHEATING

Does it get any better than this?  The party that’s known for cheating to win elections is complaining about cheaters cheating the cheaters out of a win.

Interim Chair, cheating cheater Donna Brazille (who got caught sending debate questions to Hillary), decided they would use paper ballots for the vote to choose the new chair.

Now, the Progressive Change Committee has filed a complaint, citing a DNC rule that “secret ballots are not permitted.”

Remember when a Democrat party operative was caught on camera by James O’Keefe saying Democrats have been committing voter fraud for years?

Yeah.  Me too.

Between cheating and witch hunts, the Democrats have serious problems.

That and being Communists of course.

Democrats are officially cuckoo pants

Vincent Tolliver said he thought his rival Rep. Keith Ellison should not be chairman of the DNC, because his Islamic faith condemns homosexuality.

Interim chair Donna Brazile said Tolliver’s opinion was “disgusting” and chucked him out of the race.

Tolliver stated a fact: “Muslims discriminate against gays. Islamic law is clear on the subject, and being gay is a direct violation of it. In some Muslim countries, being gay is a crime punishable by death.”

Brazile parroted the Left’s cuckoo pants opinion:  “The Democratic Party welcomes all Americans from all backgrounds. What we do not welcome is people discriminating against others based on who they are or how they worship.”

Donna Brazile: Zero Credibility

“Donna Brazile has a big problem with Russia’s alleged interference in our recent election. Which in itself is not all that remarkable, as the allegations are unsettling, to say the least.” – Twitchy

“But for Brazile to suggest that she has any moral standing on something like this is … well, it’s pretty ridiculous.” – Twitchy

In October 2016, leaked emails proved that Democratic National Committee boss and now-former CNN contributor Donna Brazile had sent debate questions to the Clinton campaign in advance of the debate, so that Hillary Clinton could be better prepared than Donald Trump was.

The controversy cost Brazile her position with CNN, but she is apparently still the chair of the DNC.  She assumed the post in July 24, 2016, when the DNC announced Debbie Wasserman Schultz had to vacate it following revelations by WikiLeaks of multiple alleged indiscretions by Wasserman Schultz concerning candidate Bernie Sanders.

Soooooo … screwing with the election on behalf of Bernie got Debbie canned as DNC chair, but screwing with the election on behalf of Hillary had no effect on Brazile’s butt sitting in said chair.  Interesting.
