Shouldn’t it be EASY to tell these two apart?!

Remember the Victims of Communism

2017_11 07 Victims of Communism

Over the past century, communist totalitarian regimes around the world have killed more than 100 million people and subjected countless more to exploitation, violence, and untold devastation. These movements, under the false pretense of liberation, systematically robbed innocent people of their God-given rights of free worship, freedom of association, and countless other rights we hold sacrosanct. Citizens yearning for freedom were subjugated by the state through the use of coercion, violence, and fear.

Socialism, Communism, and Fascism

I agree with Rand with the following addition, which is that, far from being a “right-wing” version of these two “left-wing” evils, Fascism is just another form of oppressive totalitarian government. The three differ only in their details, but not at all in their essence.

About Pope Francis’ condolences

Pope Francis is reported to have sent the following to Cuban President Raúl Castro in a Spanish-language telegram:

“On receiving the sad news of the death of your dear brother, His Excellency Mister Fidel Alejandro Castro Ruz, former president of the State Council and of the Government of the Republic of Cuba, I express my sentiments of sorrow to Your Excellency and other family members of the deceased dignitary, as well as to the people of this beloved nation. At the same time, I offer prayers to the Lord for his repose and I entrust the whole Cuban people to the maternal intercession of our Lady of the Charity of El Cobre, patroness of this country.”

I keep seeing outraged remarks about what he said, but really … where’s the basis for them?

Pope Francis is a world leader who has visited Cuba.  Condolences were in order.  What was he supposed to say to the bereaved … “I’m glad the schmuck is dead”?

Fidel Castro was baptized Catholic and educated by the Jesuits.  Then he became a brutal dictator and avowed atheist.  Any Christian should be sorry the man apparently died unrepentant. How much more the pastor of the worldwide church the man was born into, then repudiated and persecuted?

And it’s not like Francis didn’t get in a very proper and polite dig with “I offer prayers to the Lord for his repose and I entrust the whole Cuban people to the maternal intercession of our Lady of the Charity of El Cobre, patroness of this country.”

Personally, I think the text of the telegram was well done.  As was his visit to Cuba.

The Daily Mail UK reported that the primary motive behind the Pontiff’s trip was not political, but pastoral.  He went to encourage Catholic Cubans who have suffered under Communist rule.

Pope Francis gave Fidel a selection of books, including one written by Rev. Amando Llorente, a Jesuit preacher who taught Castro as a young man, but was expelled from Cuba under Communism.

He also celebrated Mass in Havana’s Revolutionary Square near a huge metal sculpture of Che Guevara.

That sculpture of Che Guevara is permanent.  But check out what was put up for the Mass!

More about the Nazi War on Christianity

Ludendorff and Nazis

From CtH: I never understood the real difference between Nazism and Communism, given that both built top-down, military-heavy governments that persecuted Jews and Christians.  Then I saw something in Bruce Walker’s, The Swastika Against the Cross: The Nazi War on Christianity, that seemed to make a lot of sense.  He said that the Bolsheviks eschewed all nationalism, while the Nazis embraced hyper-nationalism.

Ludendorff quoted in The Swastika Against the Cross: The Nazi War on Christianity by Bruce Walker [Denver, CO: 2008], p. 76. Source given for Ludendorff quotation Days of Our Lives by Pierre van Paassen [New York: 1939] pp. 168-169.

The Frankfurt School: Destroy the Family

The Frankfurt School was founded in the 1920s to promote the breakdown of Christian Democratic societies so they would fail from within and open the way for Atheistic Communism to take over. Followers of their agenda infiltrated the United States in the 1930s. If you read about their priorities (links below) and you are familiar with the Good Book, you should see a perfect correlation between their goals for America and all the things God hates.

One of their priorities was encouraging the breakdown of the family.  Specific means they recommended included:

  • attacking the authority of the father,
  • denying the specific roles of father and mother, and
  • wresting away from families their rights as primary educators of their children.

FAMILY God loves them Satan hates them

Below is just one example of how successful these Servants of Satan have been in their century-long quest to destroy America. It is written by the grandmother of the “abused” children and posted @

I am heartbroken and desperate over my son’s long struggle with his false child abuse charges.

It all started in December, 2013. It was an unseasonably warm day, and my son, his wife, and kids were having a family day. They had been cooking, and the apartment became very hot. My son had taken all sorts of precautions to protect his precocious 18 month old Annie, such as putting safety latches on cabinets, doorknob covers on doorknobs, and a high security latch on the main apartment door. Because of the heat, he had a window cracked open to cool the place down.

My son has four other children, who were 9, 7, and 3.5 at the time. The 3.5 year old boy was napping, and woke up screaming, in an inconsolable fit. My son and his wife were very preoccupied with calming him down, figuring he had a bad dream. Once they got him settled, they became aware that Annie was not in the room. They looked in the usual hiding places, for she was often apt to strike off on her own, or follow her brothers to play, etc. They could not find her anywhere.

They expanded their frantic search to outside the apartment, knocking on neighbors’ doors, searching the playground, etc. After 15 minutes of frantic searching, my son called the police and reported her missing. After he hung up, they called him back and told him to come pick her up. TOTAL STRANGERS from out of town had found her on Main Street, but that was, in reality, only THIRTY YARDS from the apartment door, so it would take he no time to get there. She had been very happy and giggling about her apparent adventure.

When he arrived at the police station, he was charged with child abuse. He was totally confused by this, for he had never been abusive. His nine year old son had to answer questions about the siblings’ ages, etc because Frank was totally numb and could not think straight. (The police said if his wife had shown up instead, SHE would have been the one charged. That is how arbitrary this was!) Thus began his long nightmare.

The DA tried to force him to plead guilty. That would have meant a permanent abuse charge and prison time. He can afford neither because he is a professional photographer who shoots weddings, graduations, and many children’s events. The CPS came to the apartment, did their review, and found Frank and his wife to be beyond suspicion of abuse. In fact, they noted he had taken every precaution possible. The DA refused to even consider their findings.

I advised my son to insist upon an attorney being appointed for him, and to insist on a jury trial. No jury in its right mind would put a hardworking father in prison for having a precocious toddler bent on adventure. He followed my advice, but nine days before the trial date, the DA finally relented and offered a reduced charge of “reckless endangerment.” I would never have agreed to such a thing myself, but Frank was feeling guilty for not watching Annie like a hawk every second, so he relented, per his appointed attorney’s advice.

The probation was to be six months, and he was to attend an online parenting class. If there were no more “incidents,” his record would be clean after six months. He thought this was a good deal, but I was on the edge of my seat for the last five months, counting the days.

Sunday he called me and told me that there was a warrant out for his arrest, and that the deal was off, he was back to the full “child abuse” charge with NO OPTION FOR A JURY TRIAL! He was told he would go directly to sentencing, and the child abuse record would now be permanent. His “crime” was to not show for a court appointment he never even knew was scheduled! He received no notification, had gotten no notice from his appointed attorney, had no clue whatsoever of being in violation of probation. He had attended the class, and was awaiting certification to show at the end of his probation in April.

I am so angry with the system. My grandchildren are at risk of being lost. My daughter-in-law has been totally devastated by this ordeal, and if he is found guilty, no doubt the state would take them because they have destroyed both parents.

My son is devastated, but is also determined to sue if he survives this. As for me, it is hard for me to watch from my home several states away. Maybe it is good I am not there, because I am fighting mad myself, and I certainly would not be a calming force. Please help…somehow…before I lose my grandkids, and a good man his livelihood and his good reputation. They might already damaged his business beyond repair.

Consider this

“Consider this: we are ruled by a leader who watches our enemies burn a comrade alive and he lectures Christian leaders about the Crusades!!!” -James Woods

One caveat there, Mr. Woods. It should say “served” … but insofar as Obama’s view of his power and authority is concerned, “ruled” is right. “Leader” though … ::snort:: I don’t THINK so.

According to a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Annenberg poll, nearly 70% of Americans lack confidence in Obama’s ability to fight ISIS.

BHO medieval

I saw an interesting post on Facebook by a man who said he used Obama’s words countless times during the Vietnam War when he was doing Communist interrogation/political indoctrination role-playing instruction at the USAF Survival School in a simulated North Vietnamese POW camp.

Obama was repeating what has been standard communist propaganda and political indoctrination screed since Marx said religion was the opium of the people and that it should be destroyed. Marx neglected to mention that Christianity was the biggest obstacle to his psychopathic and genocidal communist dictatorships, and to communist-infiltrated Presidencies like Obama’s.”

The 2014 SO muCH fail olympIcs

SOCHI toilet rings

It probably depends who you are why you’d think that’s funny. There are those who refused to go because Russia has such a repressive government. Then there are those who had to go and are shocked and amazed that the Workers Paradise managed to do such a crap awful job getting ready.

Then there’s me who remembers how Mitt Romney took over SLC’s scandal- and debt-ridden Olympics preparation and brought the project in on time and under budget. After the way those JournoLefties treated him in 2012, it is sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet to watch them getting a snoot-full of what Communism actually produces. KWIM?

A Reuter’s photographer found his assigned room was full of construction debris, with yellow-brown water and appliances that didn’t work. The next room they offered him had construction workers still sleeping in it. The third one … a stray dog. But, no worries. They are now rounding up and killing the numerous stray dogs.

2014 SOCHI Water in glasses

  • Tweet: My hotel has no water. If restored, the front desk says, “do not use on your face because it contains something very dangerous.”
  • Tweet: Sochi hotel room – no wifi, tv, heat, working lock on front door or shower curtain. BUT, I’ve been told I have one of the nicer rooms?

2014_02 01 SOCHI Man holes open

Three of the nine hotels were not completed on time and an estimated 97% of all the rooms are missing not just high tech amenities like wifi and TVs, but also necessities like HEAT.  Never mind the lamps, chairs, curtains and pillows that didn’t arrive.

The lack of shower curtains may not be such a biggie, seeing as there may be no water and if there is water, it may be dangerous or cold or both. You also aren’t supposed to flush toilet paper (if there is any) down the toilets. They provide little bins for it. I know this is not unusual in some places in the world. But this is the OLYMPICS.

One hotel worker who moved to Sochi two years ago to get the place ready told reporters it was largely the corruption and bureaucracy that delayed construction though the weather hadn’t helped. But folks … it’s the WINTER Olympics. Weather is part of what you plan for.

2014 SOCHI Ring doesn't open

  • Tweet: I guess one of the journalists stole that last ring to use for a lightbulb.
  • Tweet: Tomorrow there will be a Russian family with a missing engineer relative

2014 SOCHI Terrifying sickle in opening ceremony

  • Tweet: This is in no way terrifying.
  • Tweet: No hotels/infrastructure, but Russians did have time to complete a gigantic hammer & sickle for opening ceremonies.
  • Tweet: In their tour through the history of Russia, the organizers appear to have left out some parts, like the Stalin era.

2014 SOCHI giant Hammer

  • Tweet: Cheer for the hammer and sickle, then step over the dead dogs to get back to your hotel room where you can’t lock the door, can’t use what they’re calling ‘water’, can’t find a pillow, can’t get phone service ….

Do you suppose any of the JournoLefties who dumped on Mitt in 2012 are having any eye-opening, brain-busting “Ah Ha!” moments about the Communist Sochi Olympic FAIL vs. Romney’s Capitalist Salt Lake City Olympics SUCCESS? Hmmmmmmmm … I guess this would require JournoLefties to have brains, so maybe not.
