Planned Parenthood head, Cecile Richards, says every person has the right to live. This may seem to be an odd statement given that PP kills more than 300,000 unborn babies a year.
The key point to understand here is that Richards doesn’t believe unborn babies deserve to be called “persons.” Science says they are alive and human, but they are classified under the law as PROPERTY.
Legal abortion is the ONLY so-called civil rights issue where a group of living, human Americans moved from being defined and protected as PERSONS under the law to being defined and disposable as PROPERTY under the law.
Slaves and women went the other way. Those were true civil rights advances. Legal abortion is not.

Miguel Estrada was nominated to the federal bench by President Bush but was filibustered by Democrats. He was asked if he would consider the job of solicitor general. “I would never accept a job that requires Senate confirmation or, for that matter, willingly place myself in any situation (e.g., a hearing room) in which convention requires that I be civil to Chuck Schumer.”

Cecile Richards said that if Planned Parenthood is defunded, she’s “terrified” that women won’t be able to get abortions. But haven’t they been telling us that federal funding of Planned Parenthood had ‘nothing’ to do with abortion? http://cvote.it/2maMYT3
SPEAKING OF STUPID! Democrats face a daunting 2018 landscape, with 10 senators up for reelection in states that Trump won. Making it more difficult, the party’s left flank is convinced that a full embrace of progressivism is the only way to return to power and are threatening primary challenges for Democratic lawmakers who don’t commit to full obstruction of President Trump’s agenda. http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/321685-left-threatens-trump-friendly-senators-with-primary-challenges
I’ll add more in comments if I see anything worth sharing.
Norma McCorvey, the pro-life movement’s most unlikely convert, died Saturday in Katy, Texas. She was 69. She is best known as the anonymous 21-year-old “Jane Roe” in the Texas case that led to the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision legalizing abortion on demand in every state. She never had an abortion herself. She converted to Christianity in 1995, became a Catholic in 1998 and was an outspoken opponent of abortion for the rest of her life.
Planned Parenthood is singing the blues, claiming how they’ll be unable to provide essential health care to women if they don’t keep getting government money. Yet they somehow have the money to increase President Cecile Richard’s salary by a whopping 265%, from $360,902 in 2006 to $957,952!
Trump: I’d love to meet with the Black Caucus
“Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace noted that President Obama froze out conservative outlets while he was in office, but the mainstream media didn’t get their panties in a bunch about that was somehow threatening the First Amendment.
“There’s a First Amendment, but there isn’t a ‘mainstream is entitled to ask the first question’ in the Constitution, which might be a surprise to some of my colleagues.”
While services other than abortion decreased, President Cecile Richards’ income has increased by 228%.
- In 2010, she was paid $420,153.
- In 2014 (the latest year reported), she was paid a whopping $957,952!
The statistics in this graphic are from Planned Parenthood’s own records.
Obama recently said, “Americans need to stop demonizing Planned Parenthood.”
With all due respect, Mr. President, you need to stop demonizing Americans.
Planned Parenthood and its apologists frequently claim that abortion comprises only 3% of the services the abortion giant performs. This figure is based on counting every little thing as a single service.
E.g., If one woman comes in during January for her annual and receives a breast exam, a vaginal exam, a PAP smear, a pregnancy test, an STD test, and a birth control pill prescription, PP counts it as six services. If she comes in once a month for the rest of the year to pick up her pills, PP counts it as eleven services. If she has a positive pregnancy test, she then sees a counsellor to discuss her choices. Two more services. The counsellor may hand her a flyer about adoption, then schedule her for an abortion. Two more services. Planned Parenthood counts the part where they dismember a living baby as just another single service that is no more nor less significant than handing her a flyer.
Here are some more more or less significant facts which Planned Parenthood’s own CEO admitted during her under-oath testimony before Congress in September 2015:
- 86% of Planned Parenthood’s non-government revenue comes from abortion.
- Planned Parenthood does not now and has never in the past provided mammograms.
- If Congress defunded Planned Parenthood, it would have no effect on its health services.
- In 2014, Planned Parenthood’s CEO was paid $590,000 by the tax-funded non-profit.
