House-Passed Gov’t Funding Bill Fails In Senate Triggering Gov’t Shutdown

The Senate failed to pass a cloture vote on a House-passed continuing resolution late Friday evening, just before government funding levels were set to expire.

Democrats withheld their votes over a lack of an agreement on a legislative fix to the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program — the Obama-era initiative that extended temporary legal status to foreign nationals who illegally entered the country as minors — leaving GOP leadership short of the 60 votes needed to send the measure to the president’s desk.

Crazy Pelosi Brags About Protecting DREAMERS After Senate Democrats Block Funding in Favor of Illegal Aliens

The House budget resolution failed a cloture vote in the Senate on a largely party line vote, 50 to 49.

Tonight, on the eve of the first anniversary of his inauguration, President Trump earned an ‘F’ for failure in leadership.

“President Trump and Congressional Republicans’ obsession with passing a tax scam to benefit the wealthiest and corporations has blinded them to their responsibilities to the American people. Despite controlling the House, Senate and White House, the Republicans are so incompetent, so negligent that they couldn’t get it together to keep government open.

Flashback to when Obama weaponized 2013 government shutdown

High profile national monuments and parks were “Barrycaded” so that TV cameras could show veterans and others being turned away.

“I’ve been through some of these before,” he said. “The Democrats are opposing a bill that they don’t oppose! … They don’t oppose anything in the bill, but they are opposing the bill.”

“I just want to let everybody know,” he said about the potential government shutdown:

“We do not want this, we do not want a shutdown, but if Mr. Schumer insists on it, he is in a position to force this on the American people.”

Jim Acosta of CNN embarrassed himself by suggesting Republicans could avoid a shutdown because they control the House, Senate and Presidency. He knew, of course, that 60 votes are needed in the Senate.

Sanders Denies Attacking Republicans for Shutdown in 2013, Isn’t Corrected by MSNBC

Associated Press, NYT Torpedo Democratic Narrative On Government Shutdown

Democrats have a) have longed called government shutdowns irresponsible, directing their attacks at Republicans; b) they’ve said that tying immigration to budgetary matters is just an exercise in chaos. Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) said that in 2013 during the debt ceiling negotiations. The latter is the audible here. Democrats want a DACA deal first. It’s dealing with greedy, spoiled children when it comes to the Democrats. They’re getting everything they want.

McConnell on Senate Floor: This Government Shutdown Was 100 Percent Avoidable

“A government shutdown was 100 percent avoidable. Completely avoidable. Now it is imminent,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said on the Senate floor following the vote. “Perhaps across the aisle some of our Democratic colleagues are feeling proud of themselves, but what has their filibuster accomplished? . . . The answer is simple: Their very own government shutdown.”

As Cold As My Ex-Wife’s Heart

Well, maybe not THAT cold, but pretty damn cold. This is the third day if single digit temperatures. Still, we’ve only had a smidgen of snow, nothing like they were hit with on the east coast. Why do they get so much snow every year? Because they deserve it for voting democrat.

Barack Obama to Prince Harry: Hashtags Don’t Bring About Change
Former President Barack Obama told Britain’s Prince Harry in a BBC 4 interview that hashtags alone do not bring about social change.
The Obama administration was notorious for using hashtags in lieu of actual diplomacy or military action to address urgent problems.
The strategy reached its zenith (or nadir) in 2014, when First Lady Michelle Obama tweeted “#BringBackOurGirls” in response to the mass abduction of Nigerian schoolgirls by the terrorist group Boko Haram.

Barry and Harry: Politicized Prince ‘Interviews’ Obama for BBC as Former U.S. Prez Attacks ‘Corroding Civil Discourse’ on Social Media
Former US President Barack Obama made a barely veiled attack on President Trump in a BBC Radio interview conducted by British Royal Prince Harry, apparently politicising the otherwise neutral Royal Family by involving them in Domestic U.S. politics.
Pretty sure this is what Obama *meant* to say…

‘Not Welcome’: London’s Muslim Mayor Repeats Calls to Cancel Trump Visit
Stating he had “previously called on Theresa May to cancel her ill-judged offer of a state visit to President Trump”, the mayor made clear he feels a visit by President Trump would be against the “interests and security of Londoners”. Khan said :”It is clear that any official visit here would not be welcomed.”

Bill de Blasio Compares Himself to Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, Mahatma Gandhi

[CtH: Wow, and they say Trump has a big ego?!]

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio says he is destined for greatness—so much so that he is comparing himself to Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, and Mahatma Gandhi.

Democratic insiders, however, bristle at the thought of de Blasio running for nationwide office or taking the national stage, saying that he is full of himself and does not command respect from his colleagues.

“It’s laughable to think that the response to Trump is going to come from a progressive mayor whom progressives don’t rally around and mayors don’t respect,” said one high-placed Democratic operative.

HEIR APPARENT: DeBlasio Chooses Bernie To Swear Him In For Mayor

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio will be sworn in for his second term by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, City Hall revealed Wednesday.

De Blasio’s choice is surprising given his enthusiastic support of former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and his long maintained ties to the Clinton family. These ties were on full display during his first swearing in presided over by former President Bill Clinton, who de Blasio served under in the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

TRUMP EFFECT: Kennedy Center Honors Ratings Crash to All-Time Low After President Boycotts Ceremony

President Donald Trump announced earlier this year he would not attend the December 3 awards ceremony, nor hold a White House reception, after several liberals being honored, including Norman Lear, said they would boycott the White House reception for the honorees. It was the most public snub of a president by a Kennedy Center honoree since Paul McCartney canceled on George W. Bush, rescheduling his award when Barack Obama was president.

The American people responded to the Trump-hating liberals by not watching the Kennedy Center Honors broadcast.  CBS’ broadcast of Kennedy Center Honors clocked its lowest ratings result in people-meter history, dating back to 1987.

Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton Retain Most Admired Titles

•Barack Obama edges out Donald Trump as most admired man
•Hillary Clinton wins narrow victory over Michelle Obama
•Clinton has won the past 16 years; Obama the past 10

The 2017 survey marks the 16th consecutive year Clinton has been the most admired woman. She has held the title 22 times in total, more than anyone else. Eleanor Roosevelt is second with 13 wins. Obama has now been named the most admired man 10 times, trailing only Dwight Eisenhower, who earned the distinction 12 times.

Democratic Appointees Reluctant To Give Trump More Judgeships To Fill

[CtH: If their appointees weren’t using their positions to force unlegislated laws on us, this wouldn’t be an issue.]

Two Democratic appointees to federal appeals courts expressed reluctance to retire during President Donald Trump’s administration, claiming the president has not fielded impressive judicial nominees.

Two unnamed judges told BuzzFeed News that they have concerns about the temperament of Trump’s judicial candidates, despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of his nominees attained approving reviews from legal trade associations.

One circuit judge claimed Trump’s nominees lack the qualifications necessary for judicial service.

Democrats Still Can’t Bring in the Cash They Desperately Need
The Democratic National Committee had $6.3 million in the bank on Dec. 1, while the Republican National Committee had six times as much, at $40 million, according to documents the parties filed with the Federal Election Commission. In November, the DNC posted its worst fundraising amount for the month in a decade.

Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a former DNC chairman who hosted a party fundraiser at his home Dec. 14, is among the party stalwarts stepping in to try to reverse the course. “I have heard a lot of donors say they need to take a break,” said Mr. McAuliffe. “The party’s job is to convince them they can’t.”

Kathy Griffin Can’t Stop Blaming Trump For Her Own Career-Ending Move

Kathy Griffin continued to blame President Donald Trump for her current career status and said she can’t tour the United States “without getting shot.”
Shortly after pictures of the shoot surfaced, she issued an apology for taking things too far, only to retract that apology a few months later.

“They were thrilled to have someone come over and make fun of Trump,” Griffin explained. “I wish I could tour in the U.S. without getting shot–I know I can’t. I was in the middle of a 50-city tour when the tweet happened. It was canceled in 24 hours.”

[CtH: And how many conservatives have had to cancel because leftists demanded they not be allowed to appear?]

All eyes on Sen. Hatch as he weighs reelection bid
The political spotlight is shifting to longtime Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) as he considers whether to run for reelection in 2018. They have showered praise on the powerful Senate Finance Committee chairman for helping to shepherd the GOP’s tax overhaul through the upper chamber.

Much of the intrigue surrounding Hatch’s decision is centered on Mitt Romney, who reportedly plans to run for the seat if Hatch retires. If Hatch retires, Romney would become the immediate front-runner and would be expected to clear the field for the seat.

Trump and Romney have had a contentious relationship over the years. Romney waged a public campaign to stop Trump’s nomination in 2016. In one speech, he called Trump a “phony” and a “fraud.”  More recently, Romney denounced failed Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore hours after Trump endorsed him.

Asked earlier this month whether he was trying to prevent Romney from filling Hatch’s seat, Trump dodged the question.  “He’s a good man. Mitt’s a good man,” he said.

New Jerusalem Train Station To Be Named After President Trump

Israel will name a new train station after President Trump announced the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv will move to Jerusalem
The nation’s transportation minister Israel Katz said Wednesday that the station, if approved and built, will be a thank you to Trump for his “courageous and historic decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel.”

The train station would sit in close proximity to the Western Wall, a holy site for worshipers of Judaism and a tourist attraction that brings in roughly 11 million visitors a year.

Vanity Fair Sparks Liberal Meltdown After Calling for Hillary Clinton to Take Up Knitting

The outlet published a video on its Twitter page, featuring a number of millennials offering recommendations to Clinton — who has spent much of 2017 relitigating the 2016 election — to stay away from politics and to do something else.

While the video was no doubt supposed to be a light, comedic ribbing — with Vanity Fair an unlikely backer for President Trump — and expressing in a light-hearted form the sentiment among many Democrats that Clinton may be a drag on the party in 2018 and 2020, Clinton-backers were not impressed.

As with most criticisms of Clinton, even those that come from women, the sexism card was quickly thrown down by those offended by the jokey video.

Actress Patricia Arquette requested that the outlet “STOP TELLING WOMEN WHAT THE F-CK THEY SHOULD DO OR CAN DO. “

ISIS CRUSHED Since Donald Trump Took Office – The Numbers
The massive gains come after years of “onerous” rules, when critics say the Obama administration “micromanaged” the war and shunned a more intensive air strategy that could have ended the conflict much sooner.

The rules of engagement under the Obama administration were onerous. I mean what are we doing having individual target determination being conducted in the White House, which in some cases adds weeks and weeks,” said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. David Deptula, the former head of U.S. Air Force intelligence. “The limitations that were put on actually resulted in greater civilian casualties.”

James Woods Trolls Dems, Sheila Jackson Lee After She Stole Other Passenger’s United Airlines Seat

As previously reported, despite United Airlines apologizing to the woman who purchased a first class ticket aboard one of their flights, only to be re-seated because Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee wanted to sit first class, the race-baiting Congresswoman believes no apology was owed.
Shortly after this apology and a $500 credit were issued by United, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee went on a Twitter tirade where she claimed that the entire incident is just about race, naturally.

James Woods tweeted out the picture of Sheila Jackson Lee sitting in the stolen first class seat, talking on her cell phone and said, “The Democrat party in a nutshell”.
The Democrat party stomps on common middle class people because they believe they are the royals of this country. The Democrats are always in their ivory towers looking down at the proletariat.

Democrats have contempt for Americans; they think they are superior to everyone else and if you dare speak up, you are a racist.

Sarsour: You Have No Right To Tell Us We Can’t Kill Jews
Islamic terrorists would like immunity from any accountability. They want to smash in the skulls of little girls, fire rockets at schools from kindergartens and then accuse Israel of violating human rights. But standards work both ways, despite Sarsour’s “punching up terrorism” nonsense. If you opt out of the laws of war, so do your enemies. Everyone is oppressed in their own minds anyway.

But the Democrats continue to stand by Linda Sarsour, despite a blatant defense of anti-Semitic Islamic terrorism and accusations of complicity in sexual harassment against a fellow Muslim woman.  Because there’s nothing the left won’t excuse from Islamic Supremacists.

Eye Roll

My family is away today (our holiday together will begin tomorrow), so I’m going to do something uber tacky and post politics on Christmas. Cut me some slack, please. It’s just me and the dog here and I need the distraction.

Poor Bernie. He hates the tax cuts. He and all his Dem cronies voted against them. But they’re really popular and will almost certainly turn out to be a very good thing for the economy and disposition of the nation.

What’s a socialist to do? Prepare to eye roll.

During a CNN interview with Jake Tapper, he actually said OUT LOUD, that the tax cuts are “a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent.”

Yeah. Suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure. That’s why you VOTED AGAINST THEM, RIGHT?! Tweeters responded:

  • Bernie, you don’t get to take credit for the tax bill you claimed would only help rich ppl.
  • April Fools right? THIS man is trying to tell us that he believes in tax cuts? ROFL
  • And yet not 1 Democrat voted for the bill. Hmm.
  • Bernie Sanders wants the tax cuts permanent? Jeeze man why didn’t you speak up?
  • Looking forward to him campaigning on this and working with Ryan/McConnell to make that happen.
  • 2018 will top 2017 for surprises, as Bernie Sanders switches from Socialist to Republican.

The Games People Play

Apparently “silly season” is not limited to electoral nonsense in D.C. The democrats and the media whores have made Republican presidents the object of non-stop abuse for decades. Then a creature not born of the swamp descended on Washington like a cyclone in a wheat field. Not content to silently take the abuse democrats dish out the way Bush did, Trump hits back. Sometimes swiftly, as in the CFPB attempted coup, other times like Chinese water torture.

Winning: Donald Trump Calls Democrats’ Budget Bluff on Amnesty
President Donald Trump stepped up his budget confrontation with Democratic leaders today and called their bluff on their mumbled threats to block the 2018 budget if it did not include the unpopular ‘Dreamer’ amnesty.

Instead, the Democrats retreated to Congress where they lobbed complaints at Trump. The retreat left amnesty advocates in the lurch, despite months — and years — of media-magnified claims that the American public wants a no-strings amnesty for the 3 million ‘dreamers,’ plus their millions of chain-migration relatives.

Trump dared “them to shut the government” and they folded, said Mark Krikorian.

WINNING! POTUS Trump Gives Presser Next to Empty Chairs for Pelosi-Schumer …. PELOSI FREAKS OUT

Senile Nancy Pelosi threw a tantrum because Trump gave a press conference next to two empty seats after the House Minority leader and her fossil counterpart in the Senate, Chuck Schumer decided to be a no-show Tuesday
“Meeting with ‘Chuck and Nancy’ today about keeping government open and working. Problem is they want illegal immigrants flooding into our Country unchecked, are weak on Crime and want to substantially RAISE Taxes. I don’t see a deal!” Trump tweeted.

In a stunning visual, President Trump gave a press conference next to two empty seats where Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were supposed to be sitting.

Trolling the two butthurt Dems with the empty seats in the Roosevelt Room reminded me of another notable empty chair scenario. Picture it. The year was 2012. The Oscar-winning actor/director/legend Clint Eastwood entered the Tampa Bay Times Forum, the site of the RNC Convention, in dramatic fashion with the backdrop screen showing a large silhouette of him from the film “The Good, The Bad and The Ugly”. The speakers in the arena were blaring the score from the film. The crowd ate it up.

Trump Sits Between Empty Chairs Reserved For Chuck and Nancy During White House Meeting

CNN to boycott White House Christmas party

Under fire from Trump, the network says it would be ‘inappropriate to celebrate with him as his invited guests.’

“CNN will not be attending this year’s White House Christmas party,” a CNN spokesperson said. “In light of the President’s continued attacks on freedom of the press and CNN, we do not feel it is appropriate to celebrate with him as his invited guests. We will send a White House reporting team to the event and report on it if news warrants.”

[CtH:  Methinks those who attend will somehow manage to soldier through their devastating disappointment. ::snork::]

Sarah Huckabee Sanders Has Best Response Ever To CNN Boycotting The White House Christmas Party

“Christmas comes early! Finally, good news from @CNN,” tweeted Sanders.

Tensions are running high between the White House and CNN after President Trump tweeted the news network represents America poorly around the world.
“@FoxNews is MUCH more important in the United States than CNN, but outside of the U.S., CNN International is still a major source of (Fake) news, and they represent our Nation to the WORLD very poorly. The outside world does not see the truth from them!”, tweeted Trump on Saturday.

Ted Cruz Shuts Down Bernie Sanders’ Thoughts on Taxes, Socialism

[CtH: It’s no surprise that Democrats seem to dominate in politics and academia, both places where they are largely protected from reality.]

Democrats have one talking point on taxes: ‘It’s a tax cut on the rich.’ And they say it over and over and over and over again in response to everything.

The most important thing for you to know when you’re at home is when they say rich, they mean taxpayer. Every time they say ‘rich’ they mean taxpayers. Why is it?

And the reason is there are not millionaires and billionaires to pay for all the socialism Bernie and the Democrats want.

Bernie really is feelin’ the burn on that one.

Black Lives Matter plans ‘black’ Christmas to ‘resist white capitalism’
Black Lives Matter Los Angeles called on people to refuse to buy from white-owned businesses and take that money to invest in the black community from Nov. 25 to Jan. 1. 2018. The boycott serves as an attempt to resist President Donald Trump and his ties to white capitalism, the group added.

[CtH: It might be more to the point for them to tell their people to stop destroying black owned businesses in their own communities.]

NBC News Fires Matt Lauer Over Allegations of Sexual Misconduct

Along with Charlie Rose at CBS, Lauer is the second morning anchor to lose his job over sexual misconduct allegations. Last month NBC fired political commentator Mark Halperin after numerous women claimed he had behaved inappropriately with them while he was working at ABC/Disney.

Lauer’s co-anchor, Savannah Guthrie, and Hoda Kotb opened Wednesday morning’s Today Show with a chyron that read “NBC News Terminates Matt Lauer.

Almost Every Graduate Of DC High School Was Truant, Yet All Of Them Were Accepted To College
The majority of graduating students at a Washington, D.C. high school did not attend more than six weeks of high school, but still managed to get into college, an investigation into the students’ records found.

The District of Columbia Public Schools system policy states that students who misses a class more than 30 times should fail that class, according to WAMU.

Despite these absences, all of the 2017 seniors got into a college, a feat for which the school received high praise. One student said the class-wide acceptance was a repudiation of all those who said the school — where at one point only 3 percent of students met the reading standards — couldn’t do it.

Some teachers who spoke to the outlet said they felt they had to graduate failing students due to pressure from the high school administration. Other teachers said the lack of expectations allowed students to do what they wanted and not show up for class.

Bernie Sanders Was Just Nominated for a Grammy
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) may not have won the Democratic nomination for president, but he was just nominated for a Grammy Award. Sanders, along with actor Mark Ruffalo, received the nod for the audiobook recording of Sanders’ book “Our Revolution: A Future to Believe In” in the category of Best Spoken Word Album.

Barack Obama won the Grammy in 2006 for “Dreams From My Father” and in 2008 for “The Audacity of Hope.” Bill Clinton received the honor in 2005 for “My Life.”

A Big Night for Democrats

Virginia had been turning blue for a very long time, pushed by the northern suburbs that are actually part of the corrupt DC swamp. The most affluent counties in the country are located there. I get the sense that after tens of millions of dollars, some of the filthiest tactics imaginable, and finally getting a win after a series of stinging defeats, they will consider this validation for their non-stop assault on President Trump and everything he stands for. Their bed partners, the Enslaved Press have spearheaded the attacks ever since election day last year. They will continue the ham-handed beatdown of all that is right with this country. The GOP better take notice.

Democrats End Losing Streak
Ralph Northam holds on to become Virginia’s next governor
The win comes after a long string of defeats for Democrats that followed their crushing losses last November, when Republicans maintained control of both chambers of Congress and took the presidency.
The win further solidifies Virginia as a blue state: Democrats there have now won two straight gubernatorial elections, carried the state in three straight presidential elections, and have held both the state’s Senate seats since 2009. In 2016, failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton carried Virginia by five points.
For Gillespie, this is the second defeat in a statewide Virginia election in just three years—he unsuccessfully challenged incumbent Democratic Sen. Mark Warner in 2014, losing by a small margin.

Democrat Phil Murphy Wins New Jersey Governor’s Race
Democratic candidate Phil Murphy beat Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno (R.) on Tuesday night in the race to replace term-limited Gov. Chris Christie (R.).
Murphy morphed from a Goldman Sachs executive to a diehard progressive, campaigning for a $15 minimum wage, the legalization of marijuana, and standing against President Donald Trump, the New York Times reports.
In his pitch, Murphy told voters that New Jersey is “broken” and needs higher taxes on the wealthy.

New Jersey winner: Victory sends a message to Trump
New Jersey’s next governor, Democrat Phil Murphy, says his party’s victory sends a message to President Donald Trump that the county is “better” than his politics of division.
Northam said in his victory speech that the eyes of the nation were on Virginia on Election Tuesday.
“Virginia has told us to end the divisiveness, that we do not condone hatred and bigotry,” he added. “In Virginia, it is going to take a doctor to heal our differences. I’m here to let you know the doctor is in. And this doctor will be on call the next four years.”
Northam also praised the state’s growing diversity and said he would work to make the state more inclusive. “Our lights will be on, our doors will be open,” he said.

De Blasio Wins Another 4 Years As NYC Mayor
During the campaign, other major progressive figures threw their weight behind de Blasio. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders endorsed him as candidate, as well as Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.
“Everything that Mayor de Blasio is trying to do is exactly the opposite of what Donald Trump is trying to do,” Sanders said previously. “This mayor is leading the city in a way to bring us together.”

National Donations Help Transgender Win Statehouse Race in Virginia
Transgender activists spent $60 per vote in Virginia to defeat conservative Delegate Bob Marshall.
Danica Roem, a man living as a woman, got 10,800 votes in Manassas Park City and Prince William County after spending more than $600,000 in direct donations — mostly from transgender political groups — and getting plenty of support from local media. Thirteen-term Marshall’s campaign was largely ignored by business donors, such as the local Chamber of Commerce. The lack of funding made it difficult for Marshall to highlight Roem’s radical agenda, which includes pushing the transgender ideology in kindergartens

Laura Ingraham on Ed Gillespie: If You Try to Be Half-In Half-Out with Trump – You End Up Political Road Kill
Laura Ingraham hammered Ed Gillespie after his loss Tuesday in the Virginia gubernatorial race.
Gillespie tried to play both sides of the GOP pro-Trump and Party elite — And lost… BIGLY.
Laura Ingraham: Remember last night, what did I say? My book, “Billionaire at the Barricades Populist Revolution from Reagan to Trump,” I made this point really consistently that there is no middle ground with conservative populism. That is the wave of the future. That there is no constituency for open borders, open markets, and endless military interventionalism.

Dem Wins in Virginia, New Jersey: Not a Repudiation of Trump, but a Warning
Pundits are calling Tuesday’s results a repudiation of Trump. That is more than a stretch: it is flatly contradicted by some of the data. Republican Jill Vogel, running for Lieutenant Governor in Virginia, hitched herself to Trump and out-performed the GOP establishment candidate at the top of the ticket, Ed Gillespie, by tens of thousands of votes.
It would be more accurate to point out that, once again, the Republican establishment came up short. Someone in the Gillespie campaign actually thought it would be a good idea to campaign with Condoleezza Rice — who, for all her merits, is a relic of the George W. Bush administration. Gillespie belatedly embraced Trump supporters, but it seems clear from local results that there were more than a few conservatives who were reluctant to be seduced. A late conversion might have been possible for another candidate, but not one who had already run and lost statewide.

Democrat ‘Not Excited’ to Vote Northam: ‘Purely a Vote for the Democratic Party’

NeverTrump ‘Republicans’ Gloat over Democrat Victory in Virginia
The small but vocal contingent of “NeverTrump” Republicans — those who swore never to vote for Donald Trump in the 2016 election, even if that meant handing the country to Hillary Clinton and the Democrats — were exuberant Tuesday night, as Republican gubernatorial candidates went down to defeat in New Jersey and Virginia.
It was the first “victory” for NeverTrump, who cast Tuesday’s result as a vindication of their warnings about Trump.

Anti-Trump Prince Alwaleed – a BIG Clinton DONOR – is Jailed in Corruption Sweep in Saudi Arabia

In December 2015 Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal slammed Donald Trump for proposing a ban on Muslim immigrants in the US until the government could alleviate security concerns.
Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is a top Clinton Foundation donor.

Campus Watch reported:   Some are upset that the Clinton Foundation accepted donations from Middle Eastern countries with terrible records on women’s rights. In “Hillary Clinton Faces Test of Record as Women’s Advocate,” the New York Times writes:

Saudi Arabia has been a particularly generous benefactor to the Clinton Foundation, giving at least $10 million since 2001, according to foundation disclosures. At least $1 million more was donated by Friends of Saudi Arabia, co-founded by a Saudi Prince.

On Sunday Prince Alaweed was arrested in a corruption sweep.

Sen. Rand Paul Assaulted by Next-door Neighbor

“Paul told troopers that his neighbor came onto his property and tackled him from behind, forcing him to the ground and causing pain.”

“Senator Paul was blindsided and the victim of an assault. The assailant was arrested and it is now a matter for the police,” says Kelsey Cooper, State Communications Director for Office of U.S. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY).

Alabama Fan Puts Cigarette In Face Of Cop, Gets Dragged Out
One Alabama fan decided to try and press her luck Saturday night at Bryant-Denny stadium by enjoying a smoke break from her seat when a police officer asked her to put it out.

Sarcastically, she puts the cigarette up to the officer’s face, almost as if she was offering him a drag.

The officer was not amused, as he brought out the handcuffs immediately.

Trump greets Japanese emperor with a handshake and nod – but no bow
U.S. President Donald Trump greeted Japanese Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko on Monday with a genteel handshake and nod, but no bow, avoiding the pitfall of U.S. President Barack Obama who was criticized at home for his deep bow to the monarch.
Hillary Clinton shook hands and air-kissed the empress on both cheeks, then took her hand as they entered the palace when she met the royal pair as secretary of state in 2011, a month or so after the triple disasters of an earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown hit northeastern Japan in March of that year.

Democrats’ civil war isn’t bringing them closer to understanding why they lost
Much of the base wants to go “full Bernie,” and embrace free college and national health insurance. Yet this ignores the fact that Bernie Sanders did so well in the primaries mainly because Clinton was the same horrible candidate she’s always been.

This wing of the party thinks President Barack Obama was too centrist. Hmm: Is that why the party lost 14 governorships plus nine Senate and 60-plus House seats on his watch?

Shutdown threat growing over immigration fight
Democrats believe they have leverage to demand an immigration deal going into the end-of-year negotiations because GOP leadership will likely need their votes to keep the government open.

They are signaling, despite the decision from the president, that they will keep DACA in the December talks until Republicans show they can pass a spending bill on their own.
“Unless Republicans can keep the government open without Democratic votes, this is not their decision to make. I have yet to see any evidence that they will be able to do that,” said Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House Democratic Caucus.

How the Mighty Have Fallen

They were the most feared power couple since Antony and Cleopatra. They ran roughshod over the democrat party and made a mockery of the rule of law. Bill Clinton was the most accomplished liar of his time and his partner spent her time committing fraud and outright theft, and made sure none of her husband’s sexual assault victims dared to breathe a word of what he did to them. From the day he left office in January of 2001 it was assumed Hillary would be given the reins of power after George W. Bush.

Then the dupes in the enslaved press fell madly, blindly, passionately in love with a Chicago street hustler who attained absolutely everything he had on the basis of his race.
Frustrated because as a community organizer he knew how to stack caucuses in the early primaries, he eventually pushed her out. She’d previously been given a seat in the Senate from New York, where they slithered off to after leaving the White House (and stealing a lot of historic artifacts the Secret Service had to retrieve) because democrats outnumber republicans 3 to 1 there and she was a shoo-in after shoving out Nita Lowey, who was ordered to step aside to give Hillary the gig.

Apparently Obama made a deal to appoint her Secretary of State to get her out of town and allow her to pick up hundreds of millions from countries who expected payback after she assumed the throne that was rightfully hers. The whole world knew the Clintons operated a cash machine. Want anything? It’ll cost you. Like Charlie Trie once said: There was a turnstile at the front of the white House. You had to pay to get inside.

FAST FORWARD TO 2017: The mask is off. The democrat party no longer fears her. She has no power, wields no influence. The Clinton money laundering machine has ground to a halt because they have nothing to offer but bitterness and excuses about how it’s everybody else’s fault she was denied her destiny.

DNC chair almost replaced Hillary Clinton with Joe Biden as candidate after her collapse at 9/11 memorial

Brazile, in her tell-all memoir of the contentious 2016 presidential race, reveals she pondered yanking Clinton off the ballot after she collapsed while leaving a Ground Zero memorial service.

By then, the Clinton campaign was permeated by the “odor of failure” and Brazile thought the sitting vice president might energize the troops, according to The Washington Post.

“Again and again I thought about Joe Biden,” Brazile writes in the book. “(But) no matter my doubts and my fears about the election and Hillary as a candidate, I could not make good on my threat to replace her.”

As one of her party’s most prominent black strategists, Brazile also recounts fiery disagreements with Clinton’s staffers — including a conference call in which she told three senior campaign officials, Charlie Baker, Marlon Marshall and Dennis Cheng, that she was being treated like a slave.

“I’m not Patsey the slave,” Brazile recalls telling them, a reference to the character played by Lupita Nyong’o in the film, “12 Years a Slave.” “Y’all keep whipping me and whipping me and you never give me any money or any way to do my damn job. I am not going to be your whipping girl!”

DNC Chairman Promises To Reform Party’s Presidential Nominating Process
Perez’s column on Medium, entitled “Making 2020 Transparent,” was a response to revelations by former interim DNC chairwoman Donna Brazile last week that in a signed agreement the committee had effectively surrendered its independence to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in August 2015 ― months before 2016 presidential primary voters went to the polls. Many supporters of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) interpreted the news as confirmation that the party had treated him unfairly.

[CtH: The corruption of the DNC’s process was obvious in 2008, when Hillary actually won the nomination on votes, but they gave it to Obama anyway.]

Trump Is a ‘Blowhard,’ ‘I Don’t Like Him’ and I Voted for Hillary, George Bush Says in New Book

Both former President Bushes had choice words for current President Donald Trump in a new book scheduled to be published later this month, with the elder Bush reportedly calling the billionaire commander-in-chief a “blowhard” and flatly stating he does not “like” him.

Furthermore, both ex-presidents admitted they did not vote for Trump. The elder Bush pulled the lever for Democrat Hillary Clinton while the younger told Updegrove he voted for “none of the above.”
