Over the past five centuries, an End Times event has been prophesied repeatedly by Catholic visionaries. The event is called The Warning or The Illumination of Conscience, a time when God will reveal Himself to everyone on Earth and reveal to each one how He sees them.
It will last a very short time, but its effects on the world will be huge.
For some, the truth will be devastating, even lethal (due to the shock). Some will harden in their sins and reject God forever, while others will see it as a sign of hope for the world and will turn from their sins and beg for God’s mercy.
For those who are prepared, the event will be joyful, for those who truly love the Lord can only be happy to see where they can improve to be more like His perfect vision for them.
Here are some of the prophesies:
“I pronounce a great day, not where, in any temporal potentate should minister, but where in, the Terrible Judge, should reveal all men’s consciences and try every man of each kind of religion. This is the day of change.” – St. Edmond Campion (1540–1581)
“A great purification will come upon the world, preceded by an Illumination of conscience in which everyone will see themselves as God sees them.” – Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (1769–1837)
“Once I was summoned to the judgment (seat) of God. I stood alone before the Lord. Jesus appeared such, as we know Him during His Passion. After a moment, His wounds disappeared, except for five, those in His hands, His feet, and His side. Suddenly I saw the complete condition of my soul as God sees it. I could clearly see all that is displeasing to God. I did not know, that even the smallest transgressions, will have to be accounted for.” – St. Faustina Kowalska (1930s)
The Warning will be “like a punishment, for the just and the wicked alike. For the just, to bring them closer to God and for the wicked, to announce to them, that time is running out.” – The Blessed Mother to the seers at Garabandal, Spain (1960s)
“The maturity of conscience, most difficult to evaluate today, is the discernment between evil and good. Humanity has performed so many evil deeds that its conscience is now darkened by sin. We will need a terrible warning, and many will refuse to listen—a terrible warning. Most people will not heed it, but it will be essential to replace the moral order. Many have lived using their freedom for every kind of pleasure, and they are under the gaze of our God; but this judgment will be direct—at the same time, with His tenderness—and they will be forced to recognize their sin and to separate their sin from their goodness. This time, the sins of the world will be revealed.” – Saint Pope Paul VI (1897-1978)
“It is a Warning. It has to be seen… this has to shake us up, so the world will start thinking… but to prove there is a God… the first Warning will be self-explanatory.” – The Blessed Mother to the seers at Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzgovina (1981)
“The day is coming when mankind will have a great chance to repent. God will show a great sign and mankind will have no explanation.” – The Blessed Mother to Pedro Regis in Anguera, Brazil (1987)
N.b., Some prophesies cited in documents about The Warning are from people whose visions/locutions either have not been approved or have actually been condemned by the Roman Catholic Church. These include (but are not be limited to) Nancy Conyers, Father Stefano Gobbi, Sadie Jaramillo. Jesus warned us about false prophets; I recommend caution when reading such material.
