Bits & Bytes

2020: I just tried to post this on Facebook and got a fact check warning. The fact check article “debunking” the simple mathematical conclusion in my graphic said that the “66.2% turnout” cited by the Washington Post was “clearly labeled” as a share of the “voting-eligible population”, not of “registered voters.” Then, the fact checker tried to make a mathematical case for why the 66.2% of “the voting-eligible population” was actually equal to 155.5 million.

The flaw in the totally non-partisan Facebook don’tyoudaretalkaboutvoterfraud Fact Check is that “registered voters” and “voting-eligible population” are the same thing. The only people who can legally vote in U.S. elections are U.S. citizens who have met their state residency requirements, have turned 18 before Election Day, and have registered to vote.

ABORTION: [3:02] – The video was included as a funny addendum to the article at Townhall about Vice’s rant condemning pro-lifers using ultrasound images and pictures of aborted babies to de-legitimize abortion. Vice is such an appropriate name.

BABY JESUS: After hearing God call him, a man in Brazil started adopting disabled children, many of them survivors of botched abortions. He has made a home for them in a place he calls Comunidade Jesús Menino (Community of Baby Jesus). Watch the 4:37 video at either the Rumble or LifeSiteNews links. If you want to help, donate at the Life Funder link.

CATHOLIC: Pope Francis has appointed Washington, DC Archbishop Gregory to the Dicastery for the Laity, Family and Life. Gregory excoriated the administrators of the John Paul II National Shrine for “allowing” Trump to visit and pray. He has backed abortion legislation and says he would not hesitate to give Joe Biden Holy Communion. He has even claimed that “birth is only the first moment of a person’s human dignity,” despite the clear teaching from the ancient church that Jesus Himself was fully human and fully divine from the moment of conception.

CHRISTIE: On Sunday, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie appeared on “The Situation Room” with Wolf Blitzer on CNN and proceeded to be very blunt with President Trump concerning Michael Flynn and Sidney Powell. He told Trump to keep them out of the Oval Office. Christie has been making the media rounds lately doing a mea culpa on not wearing a mask when he said he should have. He has also been attacking the president at every turn over the election.

COVID-19: How much longer will Democrat Jackboots will continue to cancel holidays, destroy small businesses, and arrest people for not wearing masks? We’ve now got half a dozen effective treatments for a disease that is about 99% survivable, we’ve got a quick-results, at-home test for the virus, we’ve got millions of people who have recovered from the disease who are now immune, and now we’re vaccinating millions more.

Gen. Gustave Perna, chief operations officer for Operation Warp Speed, says the United States has distributed nearly 3 million doses of the new COVID-19 vaccine, and more are on their way to states across the country. “What a remarkable feat, and we should all be proud of what has happened.”

HATERS WILL HATE: George Takei’s vicious opinions have made it nearly impossible for me to enjoy Star Trek reruns.

ORWELLIAN: The Brits have launched a “re-education program” that encourages people to report concerns that loved ones are “developing extremist views” — which it fails to define — and “being filled with hate.”

The website gives a few real-life examples of people who have been “helped” by the Prevent program. Three of the stories describe “intervention” for people with vaguely defined “extreme right-wing” views, and three stories describe “extremist” Muslim views.

Conspicuously absent from the list are examples of people with “extremist left-wing” views.

PATRIOT: Early this month, the sound system glitched before a high school basketball game in Ohio. The announcer told everyone to stand for the national anthem, but when no music played for some minutes, a mom in the bleachers urged her hubby to sing. And he did so with no musical backup or a microphone.

Another parent posted the video to his Facebook, where it has received brought people to tears. He captured the performance on video and posted it to Facebook, where it has received around 1 million views. He said it brought people to tears.

I know I need a tissue! That was not just brave and patriotic, but wow … it’s such a hard song for any vocalist, never mind without accompaniment! He did a great job!!

RACISM: The New York Slime is obsessed with hating white people. A recent article cited three different “experts” who all cited RACE as their prime criteria for deciding who should get priority in the COVID vaccine waiting lists.

I assumed the vaccines would go first to the elderly, health care workers, and the military, then to older workers in jobs with a lot of public contact, particularly transportation and education.

Silly, silly me. CLEARLY, the important criteria is the color of a person’s skin! What was I thinking! Also top priority apparently are members of Congress, regardless of how NOT in any high risk group they are.

STATISTICS: More science the Democrats don’t care about – A data analyst with 30 years of experience studied the election results and found that Biden’s vote totals fell 5.6% above the prediction line in 78 percent of counties that used Dominion or HART InterCivic voting machines. This held true in both Republican and Democrat counties.

GRAMMY NOTES: Lil’ Buzz was asked to write steps for how he would trap gingerbread people. He was apparently inspired by a recent trip to a farm. 🙂
