HUNTER’S LAPTOP: A site called Gnews has obtained at least some of the porn files Rudy Giuliani told us were on the computer. I’ve never been to the site before, but they appear to focus a lot on China. Some of the stories appear to be in Chinese.

So far, we’ve been told that the repair guy has (or had) a copy of the hard drive and that he turned the laptop itself over to the FBI which has opened a money laundering case. Repair guy also gave a copy to Giuliani, who has shared at least some of the material with the New York Post.

Giuliani has said he will not be releasing the pornographic materials, probably because he turned another copy of the hard drive over to the Delaware police, who decided it belonged with the FBI, because of the child pornography contained on it. Or maybe because the Biden Crime Family owns Delaware …

Long point being … I am guessing the leak did not come from a U.S. source, but from a Gnews contact in China. (They say the ChiComs have been blackmailing Hunter.)

POLLING: At this time in 2016, the polls were giving Hillary a 90%+ chance of winning. It’s almost like the pollsters and the Leftstream Media didn’t learn a darn thing, because they’re harping on how Biden is going to walk away with the Oval Office.

Since the Trafalgar Group was the rare outlier that actually got it right in 2016, because Robert Cahaly, CEO of the Atlanta-based polling firm, identified and solved what appear to be the biggest problems. One is the social-desirability bias (aka, Bradley effect) which is people tending to want to please the pollster. Another is that conservatives are less likely to participate, while people who hate Trump are more likely to participate. They also discount national polls, because the presidency is won state by state.

The National Review link provides a lot of detail about Trafalgar’s methods and predictions for 2020, if you’re interested. On October 18, when the article was published, Cahaly’s best guess was an Electoral College victory for Trump “in the high 270s, low 280s.” This may have shifted significantly in Trump’s favor given his performance in last Thursday’s debate.

Vox “fact” checked this by pointing out that CATS “are the true enemies of the birds.” They even included a GRAPH to PROVE that Orange Man Bad is stooopid.

But Vox is the stoopid one. It is well known that, after habitat loss from agriculture, wind turbines are the greatest human threat large, high conservation value birds.

I’m pretty sure that Fluffy and Mittens aren’t murdering any golden eagles, bald eagles, burrowing owls, red-tailed hawks, Swainson’s hawks, American kestrels, white-tailed kites, peregrine falcons, or prairie falcons … to name just some of the species wind turbines are slaughtering.

Scientists also say that wind turbines are the second biggest human threat to bats in general and the single greatest human threat to migratory bats in particular. This is bad, because bats eat a bazillion insects that would otherwise eat our food crops and spread various nasty diseases.

But yeah, Vox, you go ahead being stoopid and sucky. And I’ll go ahead never clicking on your pathetic site.

60 MINUTES: [37:51] – President Donald Trump has released the full length recording of his interview with 60 Minutes journalist Lesley Stahl in order to prove it was disgraceful.

She says, “I’m not going to fact check you,” but she also keeps telling Trump “No, no.” Biden can lie his face off and jerknalists just nod and smile. Example: Trump says, “He’s in the midst of a scandal,” and she says, “No, no.”

He says states should “open up carefully,” then she bleats, “You don’t say ‘carefully’!” Uhhh … he JUST DID.

COVID-19: The Food and Drug Administration has approved the antiviral drug known as remdesivir for treatment of the novel coronavirus. The drug, sold under the name Veklury, will be used for hospitalized COVID-19 patients. It is the first coronavirus disease treatment to receive FDA approval.

DISHWASHERS: [2:29] – The Trump administration has finalized plans to release a new rule allowing one class of dishwashers to clean a load in less than an hour. The actual regulatory text will be posted in the Federal Register by the Department of Energy in two weeks.

“President Trump has once again made good on his promise to free Americans from ludicrous government regulations—this time bringing a commonsense reform to dishwashers,” Office of Management and Budget Director Russ Vought said in a public statement.

EARLY VOTER REGRET: On October 23, the number of people googling for information on how to change their votes skyrocketed.

HUMAN TRAFFICKING: In 2018 alone, more than 23,000 human trafficking victims were identified in the United States. Of these victims, 65% were women. More than 1 in 5 were children.

Rather than dismantle law enforcement agencies, as the far left demands, President Trump has doubled funding for the Department of Justice to combat human trafficking, signed the largest DOJ grant package in history to stop trafficking (which includes grants to provide safe housing for survivors), and signed nine pieces of bipartisan legislation that target human traffickers, both domestically and internationally.

On Oct. 20, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced the opening of its Washington-based Center for Countering Human Trafficking, calling it the first operations center of its kind supporting federal criminal investigations in the United States.

The initiative is part of a government commitment to combat human trafficking, an issue that President Donald Trump has made a hallmark of his administration.

KENTUCKY: Unlike King County Library System in Washington (see below), the University of Kentucky decided that “separate but equal” didn’t go nearly far enough to deal with the systemic racism that is literally bred into the very DNA of white people.

UK’s Resident Assistant training included sessions where RA trainees were separated by skin color.

People of Pallor were directed to the White Accountability Space were provided with “materials” that included a list of 41 ways in which they are awful.

People who self-identify as being “of color” went to the Healing Space for Staff of Color where they could do what they pleased, minus any helpful “materials.”

PEACE: Folks remarked how Joe Biden did manage to get through Thursday’s debate without losing his toons and spewing word salad. I’d like to point out that he took all of Monday through Thursday off to “prepare for the debate.” (And rest up.)

Meanwhile, Trump spent all of Monday through Thursday preparing for the debate, flying out to campaign rallies, giving interviews, doing his usual presidential duties … and brokering yet another peace deal to help keep Israel safe.

On October 23, 2020, Israel and Sudan agreed to make peace and to normalize their relations in another landmark agreement brokered by President Trump.

In the coming weeks, the two countries will begin negotiations on cooperation agreements in agriculture, economy, trade, aviation, migration issues, and other areas of mutual benefit.

This historic peace agreement follows similar agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Israel and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

TENNESSEE: Amy Coney Barrett was graduated magna cum laude Rhodes College in 1994. More than 1,500 alumni of Rhodes signed a “letter of concern” stating that they are “firmly and passionately opposed to Rhodes administrators’ attempts to embrace Amy Coney Barrett as an alumna of our beloved alma mater.”

Rhodes is a small, private institution in Tennessee with historical ties to the Presbyterian Church. The signees included alumni who graduated as far back as 1959.

The kids who haven’t been reunited with family did NOT come to the border with family.

It has been known for many, many years that loose border controls re: family units led to coyotes kidnapping or buying children to help get single men, posing as their fathers, through the border.

Sometimes, the kids were returned to somewhere south of the border to be forced to make the arduous trip with strangers again and again. Sometimes, the kids were sold into labor or sex slavery. And sometimes they were just dumped somewhere … on a street, in a desert. Whatever. Cuz coyotes don’t care what happens to their victims.

Separating the children from the adults became necessary to give Border Patrol time to ascertain if they were actually related to one another. Last I heard, the Border Patrol had begun using rapid DNA tests to make this process much faster and easier.

Trump’s use of the term “coyote” to refer to “a person who smuggles illegal immigrants into the United States, especially across the Mexican border” caused much confusion among brainiacs on the Left who cry loudly that Trump is a “f—ing moron.”

Like these two:

BOBULINSKI: Former Biden insider, Tony Bobulinski, has agreed to provide documents to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.

He says they will show that then-VP Joe Biden was the “big guy” who was supposed to get 10% of the profits in a multi-million dollar deal Hunter was cooking up with a Chinese firm.

BORDER: Joe Biden wants open borders. But … since 2016, the DOJ has prosecuted 749 members of the notorious gang known as MS-13. Of these, only 8% were citizens with another 3% who were here legally. Eighty-nine percent were either here illegally or their status was unknown.

The criminal cases included racketeering, murder in aid of racketeering, narco-terrorism conspiracy, human trafficking, illegal alien in possession of a firearm, and illegal reentry following deportation.

COLORADO: Two Colorado churches and their pastors are currently protected from the state’s enforcement of capacity limits and face masks during worship services thanks to an order handed down by a federal judge on October 15, 2020.

This decision came following a lawsuit against federal and state officials for an array of religious freedom violations. Thomas More Society represented the congregations and their pastors in the law suit addressing violations of the right to free exercise of religion resulting from Governor Jared Polis’ COVID-19 related Executive Orders.

COVID-19: The Conscience and Religious Freedom Division of the Office for Civil Rights (OCR), a division of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has intervened on behalf of COVID-positive patients who have been denied non-medical visitors, including birthing partners and clergy.

FBI: Fox News has obtained copies of the receipt the FBI gave Isaac (the computer repairman) when he turned Hunter Biden’s laptop over to them, as well as of the Dec. 9, 2019 subpoena the FBI sent to Isaac calling him to appear to testify before U.S. District Court in Delaware.

The FBI doesn’t open a case file or issue subpoenas unless they have evidence of criminal activity. Therefore, it is reasonable to conclude from the above that the FBI has a money laundering case in the works involving Joe Biden’s son, Hunter.

The FBI has declined to confirm or deny the existence of such an investigation, but that is standard practice.

HUNTER: Child porn – Trump’s lawyer and former Mayor of New York City, Rudy Giuliani, and former NYPD Commissioner, Bernie Kerik, say they gave the New Castle, Delaware, police a bunch of printed photos and a copy of Hunter Biden’s hard drive from which they were downloaded.

Giuliani and Kerik say the images show that Hunter was engaged for years in potentially criminal sexual behavior involving children and minor teens. They also allege that Biden family members knew about it.

The New Castle County Police Department says they alerted the state attorney general and that they had jointly decided to refer the claims and the copy of the hard drive to the FBI instead of investigating it itself.

The FBI said on Wednesday: “We have no comment, in keeping with our standard practice of neither confirming nor denying the existence of an investigation.”

HUNTER: Two more items – One, Hunter Biden’s business conglomerate didn’t just benefit from foreign investments and fees. It also scored tens of millions of dollars in taxpayer-backed subsidies and loans.

Two, according to the Epoch Times, certain dates and locations mentioned in emails on Hunter’s laptop match Secret Service logs, further confirming the laptop’s contents are genuine.

LATE NIGHT BIAS: During September, Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Fallon made 455 jokes at Trump’s expense and another 64 jokes about Trump’s family or administration. They mocked Joe Biden only 14 times.

MASSACHUSETTS: Boston – Most Catholic schools in Boston are open for live instruction, compared with only 4% of public-school districts. This has led to an increase in Catholic school enrollment of 4,484 students. Back in July, the Catholic school system had predicted a reduction of 5,700 students.

“Our Spring of Despair — caused by an historic enrollment drop due to the pandemic — has turned into an Autumn of Hope,” said Thomas Carroll, superintendent of schools for the Archdiocese of Boston

NEW YORK: After a federal judge ordered New York’s Democratic governor to explain in court his shutdown of Jewish schools, Gov. Andrew Cuomo backed down and agreed to allow the schools to open.

There is no reason schools should not be open everywhere. Not only are COVID-19 cases rare in schools and in children, but also a recent study by the American Association for the Advancement of Science found “children have a low risk of COVID-19 and are disproportionately harmed by precautions.”

In addition, Cuomo’s order absolutely reeked of anti-Semitism. The eight ZIP codes covered by the order corresponded with predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods. BUT, the order did not apply to six ZIP codes that had comparable or higher positivity rates and positive tests, but did not have predominantly Orthodox Jewish neighborhoods.

OBAMACARE: Politifact rated Obama’s repeated promise, “If you like your plan, you can keep your plan,” the 2013 Lie of the Year.

But during Thursday night’s debate, Joe Biden repeated it, stating categorically that “nobody” lost their health insurance plans when Obamacare was fully implemented.

A RAND Corporation study found that approximately 5.9 million “nobodies” lost their insurance plans as a direct result of Obamacare’s rules and regulations.

OREGON: A small Christian school in Oregon is suing Democratic Oregon Gov. Kate Brown and other Oregon officials for discriminating against private and religious schools. Oregon public schools have been allowed to reopen; private and religious schools are still locked down

The Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is representing Hermiston Christian School, a K-12 school in Hermiston, Oregon, which has a student body of 51. The lawsuit reads in part: “After 41 years of faithful service, Hermiston Christian School (‘HCS’)

The lawsuit alleges that Brown reversed course because she feared declining public school enrollment.

A documentary film called Francesco is causing consternation in Catholic circles because it shows Pope Francis making several controversial statements. Among them,

“Homosexuals have a right to be a part of the family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out, or be made miserable because of it. What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered. I stood up for that.”

Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò says, “One does not have to be a theologian or a moral expert to know that such statements are totally heterodox and constitute a very serious cause of scandal for the faithful. … As Catholics, we are called to side with those who defend life, the natural family, and national sovereignty. We thought that we had the Vicar of Christ at our side. We painfully acknowledge that, in this epochal clash, he who ought to be guiding the Barque of Peter has chosen to side with the Enemy, in order to sink it.”

Bishop Tobin of Providence, Rhode Island says, “The Holy Father’s apparent support for the recognition of civil unions for same-sex couples needs to be clarified. The Pope’s statement clearly contradicts what has been the long-standing teaching of the Church about same-sex unions. The Church cannot support the acceptance of objectively immoral relationships. Individuals with same-sex attraction are beloved children of God and must have their personal human rights and civil rights recognized and protected by law. However, the legalization of their civil unions, which seek to simulate holy matrimony, is not admissible.”

Cardinal Müller says “Catholics are irritated” and the “enemies of the Church feel confirmed by the Vicar of Our Lord Jesus Christ.” He reminds us that when there is a conflict between the words of a Pope and the Words of God, one has to choose God.

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke says that “such declarations generate great bewilderment and cause confusion and error among Catholic faithful, inasmuch as they are contrary to the teaching of Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, and of the recent Magisterium by which the Church guards, protects and interprets the whole deposit of faith contained in Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition.”

Bishop Marian Eleganti, of Chur, Switzerland, says, “the papal interviews have become inflationary. … They give us personal views that are neither indisputable nor infallible.”

2020: Debate – Kristen Welker, Thursdays presidential debate moderator, comes from a strongly Democratic family that gave enough money to Obama, they were invited to the White House for Christmas.

“Anyone who’s ever dealt with Welker knows she’s an activist, not a reporter. The White House press team views her the same way they would AOC or Pelosi if they walked in the office,” a senior White House official told The Post.

2020: North Carolina – C-SPAN only filmed six people at Kamala’s gig, but there may have been as many as a dozen.

2020: The difference could not be more stark … or more important. One example: The unemployment rate of 10.5% in blue states is 59% higher than the 6.6% rate in red states.

AVENGERS: Six Avenger stars held a fundraiser for Kamala Harris, which Chris “Star Lord” Pratt declined to join. The cancel culture Twitter mob dumped on Pratt. Kudos to Robert “Iron Man” Downey Jr. for tweeting support:

FACEBOOK: Facebook’s algorithm flagged a Babylon Bee (i.e., satire) article.

Okay, fine. It’s a dumb computer. BUT, after a manual review, Facebook decided they would stand by their decision to remove the article and demonetize the Babylon Bee page. Their reason? They say this article “incites violence.”

BTW, the piece was literally a regurgitated joke from a Monty Python movie.

A Black Lives Matter leader said that if change doesn’t happen, they’ll “burn down this system.” That’s allowed on Facebook. You can quote it. You can link to it.

But a Monty Python joke about burning a witch at the stake? That’s unacceptable.

FRANCE: A Paris middle school teacher was beheaded on Oct. 16 in a suburb of Paris. Eyewitnesses said that the killer shouted “Allahu akbar” — Arabic for “God is great” — as he murdered the man near his school.

GOOGLE: The Department of Justice has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google. Eleven Attorney Generals, all from Republican states, are joining the lawsuit as plaintiffs. They include Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, South Carolina, and Texas.

This case will likely take years to resolve, but the good news is that associate deputy attorney general Ryan Shores said, “Nothing is off the table,” including breaking up the company.

HOT MIC: FOX broadcasters Joe Buck and Troy Aikman revealed their profound political bias when they snark about a military fly-over before the Sunday’s Packers-Bucs game. One might hope they did not know they were being recorded, but with people who sneer at our military and praise the alleged wisdom and frugality of a Biden/Harris administration, who could know?

Re: Bitching about game day flyovers is just a way of disrespecting our military. They don’t actually cost anything, because the time and money come out of the training budgets for the pilots and the branch.

On Monday, Giuliani delivered to Delaware police a report about possible endangerment and sexual exploitation of children. The report included photographs and texts that were on Hunter Biden’s laptop. The material has been forwarded to the Delaware Department of Justice.

“There are many texts which I gave to them that point out that family was concerned about the safety of the child,” Giuliani said. “I will tell you the evidence I gave them states it was reported to Joe Biden. What did he do about it?”

Also concerning is, What did the FBI do about this? They’ve had a copy of Hunter’s hard drive for a very long time.

SOCIAL MEDIA BIAS: Twitter and Facebook have censored the president’s social media accounts and the accounts belonging to his re-election campaign at least 65 times. Ninety-eight percent of the instances of censorship occurred on Twitter.

In contrast, the companies have not censored former Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his campaign accounts. At all.

2020: I just thought of one up side to Trump’s mic being off. He can needle Joe without being heard. I have a suspicion that Joe is easy to rattle and that his dementia will get worse when he’s rattled.

2020: Crooked Joe – He’s running on a “morals and values” platform. Now we hear from Tony Bobulinski that Joe was secretly been playing footsie with China to line his own pockets.

On Wednesday night, Bobulinski issued a statement in which he confirmed he was a recipient of the May 13, 2017 email on Hunter’s laptop. He described himself as a former partner of Hunter Biden, Joe Biden and Joe’s brother Jim in the China scheme.

He confirmed that “the big guy” (who was supposed to get 10% of the millions) was then-VP Joe Biden, who he said was a willing and eager participant in the scheme to partner with a shady Chinese Communist firm.

ACB: The Senate Judiciary Committee voted 12-0 to confirm Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court despite the Democratic members of the panel boycotting the hearing.

The nomination will now move to a full Senate vote on Monday. Democrats promise to boycott that vote as well.

I asked if she knew anyone who had caught the disease and she said no. Meanwhile, the traffic outside the office was back to normal and the restaurant next door was open. Where exactly are all the people still DROPPING LIKE FLIES due to “Donald Trump’s mismanagement”?

FBI: The FBI has confirmed that (a) it is in possession of Hunter Biden’s laptop and (b) both FBI and Justice Department officials concur with Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe’s statement that the laptop is not part of a Russian disinformation campaign targeting Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

IRAN: The FBI has confirmed that Iranian (and also Russian) agents are working to sway voters away from Trump and toward Biden. This one fact alone should be enough to convince PATRIOTS to vote REPUBLICAN this year!

MEDICARE: Average Medicare premiums have dropped by 34% since President Trump took office. Some states have experienced price reductions of over 50% or more. Medicare prescription drug prices have also declined, with premiums down 12% on average.

The hate from the left is so intense, yet they keep saying Trump and Republicans are the ones spreading the hate. I have not once attacked anyone for their beliefs.

Are my beliefs, are my fears, are my hopes for this country not as important as theirs? Am I just supposed to be okay with censorship and being told I am a bad person because I am white? I was walking in NYC Sunday night and a man told me to go f*** myself and spit on me. I didn’t do a thing to him.

I will never vote Democrat again. I made that decision when Nancy ripped up the speech, but the nail in the coffin were the riots and looting and the screams to defund the police and the mainstream media and friends and family denying it.

This American will always support our police. I will always stand for our flag and I will always respect the Constitution of the greatest country on earth!! I am exhausted I am sad, but I am also pissed and I will stay strong!!!

In my 2019 book, The Social Media Upheaval, I warned that the Big Tech companies — especially social media giants like Facebook and Twitter — had grown into powerful monopolists, who were using their power over the national conversation to not only sell ads, but also to promote a political agenda. That was pretty obvious last year, but it was even more obvious last week, when Facebook and Twitter tried to black out the New York Post’s blockbuster report about emails found on a laptop abandoned by Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden’s son Hunter.

The emails, some of which have been confirmed as genuine with their recipients, show substantial evidence that Hunter Biden used his position as Vice President Joe Biden’s son to extract substantial payments from “clients” in other countries. There are also photos of Hunter with a crack pipe, and engaging in various other unsavory activities. And they demolished the elder Biden’s claim that he never discussed business with his son.

That’s a big election-year news story. Some people doubted its genuineness, and of course it’s always fair to question a big election-year news story, especially one that comes out shortly before the election. (Remember CBS newsman Dan Rather’s promotion of what turned out to be forged memos about George W. Bush’s Air National Guard service?)

But the way you debate whether a story is accurate or not is by debating. (In the case of the Rather memos, it turned out the font was from Microsoft Word, which of course didn’t exist back during the Vietnam War era.) Big Tech could have tried an approach that fostered such a debate. But instead of debate, they went for a blackout: Both services actually blocked links to the New York Post story. That’s right: They blocked readers from discussing a major news story by a major paper, one so old that it was founded by none other than Alexander Hamilton.

I wasn’t advising them — they tend not to ask me for my opinion — but I would have advised against such a blackout. There’s a longstanding Internet term called “the Streisand effect,” going back to when Barbara Streisand demanded that people stop sharing pictures of her beach house. Unsurprisingly, the result was a massive increase in the number of people posting pictures of her beach house. The Big Tech Blackout produced the same result: Now even people who didn’t care so much about Hunter Biden’s racket nonetheless became angry, and started talking about the story.

As lefty journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote in The Intercept, Twitter and Facebook crossed a line far more dangerous than what they censored. Greenwald writes: “Just two hours after the story was online, Facebook intervened. The company dispatched a life-long Democratic Party operative who now works for Facebook — Andy Stone, previously a communications operative for Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, among other D.C. Democratic jobs — to announce that Facebook was ‘reducing [the article’s] distribution on our platform’: in other words, tinkering with its own algorithms to suppress the ability of users to discuss or share the news article. The long-time Democratic Party official did not try to hide his contempt for the article, beginning his censorship announcement by snidely noting: ‘I will intentionally not link to the New York Post.’”

“Twitter’s suppression efforts went far beyond Facebook’s. They banned entirely all users’ ability to share the Post article — not just on their public timeline but even using the platform’s private Direct Messaging feature.”

“Early in the day, users who attempted to link to the New York Post story either publicly or privately received a cryptic message rejecting the attempt as an ‘error.’ Later in the afternoon, Twitter changed the message, advising users that they could not post that link because the company judged its contents to be ‘potentially harmful.’ Even more astonishing still, Twitter locked the account of the New York Post, banning the paper from posting any content all day and, evidently, into Thursday morning.”

This went badly. The heads [of] Facebook and of Twitter, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, are now facing Senate subpoenas, the RNC has filed a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, arguing that Twitter’s action in blacking out a damaging story constituted an illegal in-kind donation to the Biden Campaign, and most significantly, everyone is talking about the story now, with many understandably assuming that if the story were false, it would have been debunked rather than blacked out.

CNN’s Jake Tapper tweeted: ”Congrats to Twitter on its Streisand Effect award!!!” Big Tech shot itself in the foot, and it didn’t stop the signal.

Regardless of who wins in November, it’s likely that there will be substantial efforts to rein in Big Tech. As Greenwald writes, “State censorship is not the only kind of censorship. Private-sector repression of speech and thought, particularly in the internet era, can be as dangerous and consequential. Imagine, for instance, if these two Silicon Valley giants united with Google to declare: henceforth we will ban all content that is critical of President Trump and/or the Republican Party, but will actively promote criticisms of Joe Biden and the Democrats.

“Would anyone encounter difficulty understanding why such a decree would constitute dangerous corporate censorship? Would Democrats respond to such a policy by simply shrugging it off on the radical libertarian ground that private corporations have the right to do whatever they want? To ask that question is to answer it.”

“To begin with, Twitter and particularly Facebook are no ordinary companies. Facebook, as the owner not just of its massive social media platform but also other key communication services it has gobbled up such as Instagram and WhatsApp, is one of the most powerful companies ever to exist, if not the most powerful.”

He’s right. And while this heavyhanded censorship effort failed, there’s no reason to assume that other such efforts won’t work in the future. Not many stories are as hard to squash as a major newspaper’s front page expose during an presidential election.

As I wrote in The Social Media Upheaval, the best solution is probably to apply antitrust law to break up these monopolies: Competing companies would police each other, and if they colluded could be prosecuted under antitrust law. There are also moves to strip them of their immunity under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, which protects them from being sued for things posted or linked on their sites on the theory that they are platforms, not publishers who make publication decisions. And Justice Clarence Thomas has recently called for the Supreme Court to revisit the lower courts’ interpretation of Section 230, which he argues has been overbroad. A decade ago there would have been much more resistance to such proposals, but Big Tech has tarnished its own image since then.

Had Facebook and Twitter approached this story neutrally, as they would have a decade ago, it would probably already be old news to a degree — as Greenwald notes, Hunter’s pay-for-play efforts were already well known, if not in such detail — but instead the story is still hot. More importantly, their heavy handed action has brought home just how much power they wield, and how crudely they’re willing to wield it. They shouldn’t be surprised at the consequences.

2020: A new IBD/TIPP presidential poll was released on Tuesday showing Biden 48.1% vs. Trump 45.8%. With a difference of 2.3 points and an MOE of +/- 3.2, Trump and Biden are statistically tied.

Biden’s lead in this poll has dropped steadily from its peak of 8.6 points on Oct. 13.

GUN CONTROL: It looks like the Left’s long-time efforts to disarm Americans is one of the victims of the coronavirus. Between mid-March and mid-July, 110,000 guns were sold in California. Nearly half of these (47,000) were sold to first-time gun owners.

The Biden campaign’s non-denial denials and the Slimestream Media’s “Russian disinformation” baloney are absurd and, frankly, insulting. The hard drive contains thousands of actual emails that other people on the email chains have confirmed. The hard drive also contained thousands of private pictures and text messages which further prove authenticity. And now we have a signed and dated receipt.

Donald Trump was quite literally impeached on less evidence than this. But don’t hold your breath waiting for Thursday’s debate moderator, Kristen Welker, to ask Joe a single question about it. She’s an anchor at NBC.

PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE COMMISSION: It’s supposed to be bipartisan, but all the Republicans are Never Trumpers, which explains why, as soon as the Hunter Biden scandal broke, the debate commission changed the subject of Thursday’s debate. It was supposed to be about foreign policy. Oops. They also decided they’re going to mute Trump’s mike when they feel like it.

QANON: The article linked below explains the so-called Q movement. If it’s real, it reminds me a lot of Deep Throat from the Watergate era.

According to the author, “QAnon” doesn’t actually exist. It’s shorthand for the anonymous tweets posted by nobody-knows-who about deep state corruption. No one in the general public even knows who Q is or if s/he is a single person. Some believe Q is a group of nine individuals, 6 military intelligence and 3 civilians. There appears to be some coordination between Q and Trump, which would make sense, since he has long promised to drain the Swamp.

At Trump’s town hall last week, moderator Savannah Guthrie pressed the president to condemn QAnon, which she called a fringe conspiracy cult. But there is no group. There is no charismatic leader, no official website, and no membership roster.

And unlike BLM and Antifa, “it” neither organizes rallies nor supports violence. So why did Guthrie lump it with white nationalism? Why has the Slimestream Media published numerous articles critical of it? And why are social media groups dedicated to discussing it banned?

Maybe, just maybe, the Left is so twitchy about QAnon, because Q is real and the information he/she/they drip out through anonymous internet posts are a genuine threat to the Swamp.

We can hope.

RUSH: Basically, Savage was suggesting that Limbaugh should go off somewhere now and die quietly instead of sharing his journey with his millions of loyal radio listeners. What a jerk.

SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook and Twitter tried to squash the New York Post’s blockbuster story on Hunter Biden’s emails. It kinda sorta backfired on them … BIG TIME.

The Post’s story generated 2.59 million interactions (likes, comments, shares) on Facebook and Twitter last week — more than double the next biggest story about Trump or Biden.

Five of the 10 biggest stories were about the Hunter Biden story, the fallout, or how Facebook and Twitter reacted.

It was the 6th-most engaged article this month, trailing pieces like Trump testing positive for COVID-19 and Eddie Van Halen’s death.

Eighty-three percent of the interactions happened on Facebook, with the other 17% on Twitter.

SOROS: Democrats love to decry billionaires dumping big, dark money into Republican campaigns, but nobody on our side can hold a candle to George, the Nazi Jew.

He has poured $68.5million into trying to defeat Republicans this year. He only spent a paltry $22 million during the last presidential cycle.

TOOBIN: Jeffrey Toobin has been suspended by the New Yorker. He has also been granted some time off from his gig as CNN’s Chief Legal Analyst to deal with “a personal issue.”

Brian “Dumbest Man on Television” Stelter reported for the “Most Trusted Name in News” that “Jeffrey Toobin has been sidelined at a pivotal moment in the run-up to the presidential election. The reason: He exposed himself during a Zoom call with New Yorker colleagues in what he says was an accident.”

Sidelined? Accident? Way to minimize the fact that your network’s jerk-off legal analyst subjected his colleagues to graphic and unwanted sexual abuse. He should be fired, not suspended.

VOTER FRAUD: According to an analysis by Judicial Watch, 353 counties in 29 U.S. states have 1.8 million more registered voters than eligible voting-age citizens. This is a slight improvement over last year, when a similar study found 372 such counties.

In addition, eight states have statewide registered voter totals that exceed 100 percent of eligible voters. These include Alaska, Colorado, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Of these, Michigan is the only one considered to be a swing state for 2020.

States are required under a federal law approved in 1993 to make all reasonable efforts to maintain updated voter registration rolls, but enforcement of the statute was almost nonexistent until recent years when Judicial Watch began suing individual states.

WASHINGTON, D.C.: The Women’s March – The Left condemns Trump supporters not as people who disagree with them about policy, but as deplorable people who must be unhinged and brainwashed to support a fascist like Donald Trump.

WHISTLEBLOWER: Two Americans have published evidence that the U.S. government agreed to let Osama bin Laden and more than 100 of his top guys to shelter in Iran with their families in exchange for not targeting the U.S. again after 9/11.

The whistleblowers say that top people in both the Bush and Obama administrations – including Presidents Bush and Obama, VP Joe Biden, SecState Hillary Clinton, CIA Director John Brennan, and FBI Director Robert Mueller – all knew about it.

They say Obama’s $150 billion Iran deal was about buying Iran’s silence about the deal and that it was Hillary Clinton who arranged to move bin Laden to Pakistan for a “trophy kill” to ensure Obama’s reelection.

Bin Laden was never meant to survive his “arrest”, because nobody at the top wanted him alive to testify that two administrations – Republican and Democrat – had arranged for him to continue operating his terror organization in safety, just so long as he didn’t order any hits inside the U.S.

I feel sick.

GRAMMY NOTES: It’s an odd fact that total strangers feel comfortable asking personal questions of and offering unsolicited advice to pregnant women.

One very common question is, “Do you want a boy or a girl?

I absolutely refused to answer that to anyone, even my husband, because I never ever wanted my kid to have someone say years later, “You mother wanted [what you aren’t].”

I’m not good at being rude, so instead of saying, “None of your business,” I’d say, “I’m really hoping it’s not a puppy or a kitten.”

One person stuttered and said, “Oh right. Just so long as it’s healthy.

Well, even if it’s not, we’re not going to leave it at the hospital.”

I could almost hear that person’s jaw hit the ground.
