THE FLY: [:23] – There’s been talk about the fly that landed on Pence at the VP debate. Some laughed about it; others noted how coolly he ignored it. But one guy went further and figured out … there was no fly. It wasn’t enough that they had a Democrat moderator who pampered Kamala Harris; they had to mock the Vice President of the United States with a digital fly. What are they … twelve?

TUCKER: [12:22] – “You gotta think the Biden people are beginning to regret picking Kamala Harris for the ticket.” This is good.

TELEMUNDO: Despite the liberal moderator and the slanted questions that were all in Harris’ favor, Pence mopped the floor with her. Following the debate, Telemundo News posted a “Who won the debate?” poll.
Pence 76% vs. Harris 24%.
Telemundo didn’t like the results, so they deleted the poll.

The following comment and reply were posted on an Epoch Times article about the debate. I thought they were better than the article:
Eric Templeton – I do not care for each moderators long lead In to their question. In each case O’Brien set up a false negative narrative on which to base her question. She also interrupted Pence many more times that’s Harris. Pence was brilliant throughout with poise and politeness he had adroitly exposed the radical nature of the Harris Biden plan. And he did so without mentioning all the corruption. “You are entitled to your own opinions but not your own facts” and pointing out the evasiveness on packing the court was masterful. Harris came across as a petulant child who gets caught in lie after lie and cries “that’s not fair” when exposed to the truth. Pence also showed the hypocrisy in a) their plan for the virus when he exposed their handling of the swine flu, b) their positions on USMCA,3) their positions on green new deal, 4) fracking, etc.
They sponsored the green new deal, they both are on record multiple times in support of the green new deal , it is on their website as part of their plan, and now they both go before American public and deny they support it. Huh??
My momma done told me – son if you start lying you will be tripped up by those lies and make things worse for your self. Harris tripped all over herself in contradictions from prior public comments. . Her best points were based on easily disproved empty accusations. She acted like she was on CNN or MSNBC where she could say whatever to adoring sycophants.
Anne Hawley – This is the best assessment I have yet read – bravo! I was pretty floored by Harris’ smooth-as-butter, arrogant and persuasive lies. She lied with such self-righteous confidence. And then she couldn’t control her facial expressions the entire time Pence spoke. I was just waiting for her to roll her eyes like some teenager. And you are so right about the moderator – how incredibly biased she was! How do those moderators get chosen anyway? I don’t believe I have ever seen a conservative one!

Excerpts from The Federalist’s “7 Quick Takeaways”: 1. Pence’s Superpower Is Debating … 2. Harris’s Superpower Is Something Other Than Debating. LOLOL
Harris lied frequently, and perhaps in ways that were too easily caught. She lied about Abraham Lincoln, she repeated the completely false Charlottesville hoax, and she falsely claimed Trump called COVID a hoax. [CtH: See below for link for a list.]
Nearly all the questions posed were loaded with false assumptions. The first question to Pence, for instance, was that the U.S. death toll was worse than “almost” any other “wealthy” country on earth. Except the U.S. case fatality rate of 2.8 percent is below Italy, United Kingdom, Belgium, Sweden, Canada, France, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, and Germany, something that the biased media rarely mention.
Page couched a discussion of the economy in a claim that the economy is not recovering, but the latest estimate from the Atlanta Federal Reserve is that third-quarter GDP growth will be more than 35 percent, the largest in history.
Page asked Pence tough questions about some of Pres. Trump’s most controversial statements.
But she didn’t ask Harris about Biden’s (e.g., “you ain’t black”, “blacks aren’t diverse”). She also didn’t ask Harris about Biden’s lying about getting arrested in So. Africa, flip-flopping on fracking, or packing the court.
She also did not ask Harris about her support of abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, about her party’s support for suing nuns to force them to pay for abortions, her support for a bail-out fund for rioters, or for comparing ICE to the KKK.
Harris’ condescending and smug demeanor was apparent on the split-screen that showed both candidates for much of the debate. She bobbed her head, shook her head, laughed oddly, sneered, and generally exuded smug vibes.

ABORTION: Vice President Mike Pence did not back down in any way, shape or form, from opposition to abortion.
“I couldn’t be more proud to serve as vice president to a president who stands without apology for the sanctity of human life,” he said.
Like the Democratic Party, both Harris and Biden support unrestricted abortion and have promised to work toward getting it codified as federal law.
Because of Roe v. Wade and subsequent SCOTUS rulings based on Roe, the United States is only one of seven countries in the world that allows elective abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy and prohibits states from passing laws to protect unborn babies prior to viability.
Because states are under no obligation to protect unborn babies after viability, some of them (including Colorado and New Mexico) allow abortions for any reason up to birth.

KAMALA: Among the 24 false or misleading claims Harris made during the debate –
“The president said [coronavirus] was a hoax.”Not only is this false, but it has been debunked by at least 8 fact checkers, including the left-wing Snopes.
“And in spite of all of that, today, they still don’t have a plan. They still don’t have a plan [on coronavirus].” I don’t know where SHE was during the shut down. I was watching the daily Task Force Briefings.
“We now know because of great investigative journalism that Donald Trump paid $750 in taxes.” Yeah, no. He pays millions of dollars every year in payroll, property, state, local and other taxes. He’s been audited repeatedly. If he weren’t meeting his legal obligations under the tax laws, we’d all know about it.
“On the other hand, you have Donald Trump, who measures the strength of the economy based on how rich people are doing. Which is why he passed a tax bill benefiting the top 1 percent and the biggest corporations of America.” This lie has been debunked repeatedly by fact-checkers, including the left-wing New York Times. The Trump tax cuts helped Americans at every income level; in fact, the average American saved over $1,250 a year. And IRS data shows that Americans with income between $50,000 and $100,000 saw twice as much of a drop in their annual taxes compared to Americans with incomes over $1 million.
“And the truth and the fact is, Joe Biden has been very clear, he will not raise taxes on anybody who makes less than $400,000 a year.” Another lie. Biden has not only promised to eliminate Trump’s tax cuts, but to increase taxes by $4 trillion. This cannot be done by only taxing those who make more than $400,000.
“The American people know that Joe Biden will not ban fracking. That is a fact. That is a fact.”
Like Obama before him, Biden has repeatedly expressed support for wiping out fracking, the fossil fuel industry, and the jobs they support.
“Biden oversaw the slowest economic “recovery” since the Great Depression, leaving behind millions of hard-working Americans. And of course now the economy is a complete disaster.” The Obama-Biden economic recovery was an epic failure. Even Biden has admitted that many Americans “were left behind” during his recovery. As for now, the Trump economy was so good that Obama tried to take credit for it. The massive job loss and recession we’ve suffered this year were due entirely to the pandemic shut-down (which Democrats claim Trump started too late and ended too early). Despite the fact that some areas are still shut down tight, more than half the jobs lost have been recovered.
“You have Donald Trump who is in court right now trying to get rid of the Affordable Care Act, which means that you will lose protections if you have pre-existing conditions.” Not even close to true. President Trump has repeatedly said he will always protect Americans with pre-existing conditions. And this month, he signed an executive order ensuring pre-existing conditions will be protected.
There’s more. Go read it.
