Bits & Bytes

BIDEN: Was Slow Joe trying to woo voters by calling them racists? – CLICK [:27] to hear Joe Biden slander Democrats who voted for Obama in 2008 and 2012, then voted for Trump in 2016.

Ed Morrissey notes that Tapper actually pushed Biden hard on NAFTA and USMCA. Biden had no answer.

TAPPER: I’m a blue-collar guy sitting in Macomb County, Michigan, if I were that person.

TAPPER: And I’m sitting here listening to your pitch, and I’m thinking, I like what he has to say, but he’s part of the establishment that’s been selling my jobs down the river. He supported NAFTA. He supported most favored nation status for China. And Trump did renegotiate NAFTA, and Obama and Biden didn’t.

BLACKOUT: [3:10] – Multi-millionaire NBA superstar turned law enforcement expert LeBron James said on ESPN, “We are scared as Black people in America. … Black men, Black women, Black kids. We are terrified.”

Candace Owens slammed him for pandering on Mark Levin where she was promoting her new book, “Blackout: How Black America Can Make Its Second Escape From the Liberal Plantation.”

CALIFORNIA: Los Angeles – Authorities in Los Angeles are offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the man who walked up to a police car and opened fire on two L.A. sheriff deputies without warning or provocation.

CARDI B: I had no idea what “WAP” was, so I googled, learned it was a Cardi B song, read (some of) the lyrics at the link below. I had to stop after a few stanzas and I am NOT going to copy any of them here. This is a family-friendly site!

COVID-19: CLICK [1:11] to hear Fox’s Chris Wallace try to nail down Biden’s weasely spokesman on Biden’s slow response to the virus.

DELAWARE: On Sunday, disgusting Democrats in Joe Biden’s home town threw eggs at little children who were attending a Trump rally with their parents.

FOREST MANAGEMENT: There’s a big, BIG difference between environmentalism and conservationism. The first is a left-wing, human-hating, activist position that rails against whatever issue is in their faces. The second seeks to find common sense solutions to balance the wants and needs of ALL who live on this planet.

The Trump administration has been trying to prevent the deadly wildfires that plague the West every year by putting in place forest management practices. Environmental activists keep blocking these efforts. They don’t care that a managed, healthy forest is one that doesn’t turn into an inferno that kills everything in its path.

Predictably, Democrats are blaming climate change for the current rash of horrific wild fires.

FUNDRAISING: In recent months, the Biden campaign has been bringing in more money than Trump’s, but his totals have been inflated by megadonors. Trump has more small donations coming in and (ideally) each donor gets only one vote.

GEORGIA: Atlanta – Students at Georgia Tech pay mandatory student activity fees which the Student Government Association uses to fund club events on campus. But when the student pro-life club sought funding to bring Alveda King to campus to give a talk, the student government said no.

According to them, Alveda King wasn’t welcome, because she has been involved in religious ministries, therefore her life was “inherently religious,” and thus could not be separated from the civil rights, anti-abortion message her talk would present.

By that standard, Alveda’s uncle, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., would not have been welcome either.

Students for Life sued the university and won. George Tech has to revise its policies to treat all student organizations fairly, regardless of viewpoint, and to pay $50,000 to Students for Life for damages and attorneys’ fees.

IMMIGRATION: Judges appointed by President Donald Trump’s deputies are filling up the immigration courts, and they have reversed the anti-deportation trend caused by President Barack Obama’s judges.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: CLICK [1:40] to hear Terrence K. Williams express his outrage that Facebook allowed a death threat to be posted, but is threatening to shut down his page, because they don’t like his political commentary.

CLICK [6:00] to hear Ben Shapiro and Dan Bongino talk about the difference between the Left’s attempts to shut down conservative social media.

MICHIGAN: Detroit – BLM has been an epic flop in Detroit, thanks largely to Mayor Mike Muggan (a Democrat!) and Police Chief James Craig who have practiced zero-tolerance for thugs and looters posing as demonstrators.

I am not going to let any group set up a Seattle zone of lawlessness here in the city of Detroit,” Craig said.  “That is non-negotiable.

Craig knows firsthand that the worst thing you can do when faced with radical lawlessness is agree to negotiate. He grew up in Detroit, where he witnessed the 1967 riots, then he was an LAPD officer for the 1992 Rodney King riots. He also knows that BLM’s agenda doesn’t have widespread support from Detroiters.

The vast majority of the people who attend these protests are from outside the city.”

NEW YORK: Rochester – Rochester Police Department (RPD) officers have been given permission to cover up their names on their uniforms.

Leftists have been researching and advertising their personal information, including home addresses, kids’ names and schools.

NORTH CAROLINA: Charlotte [:17] – Black Lives Matter marched in Charlotte last week chanting, “F**k your Jesus!” The Left Stream Media ignored it.

PENNSYLVANIA: Pittsburgh – A federal judge has struck down Gov. Tom Wolf’s pandemic restrictions that required people to stay at home, placed size limits on gatherings and ordered “non-life-sustaining” businesses to shut down, calling them unconstitutional.

The plaintiffs included hair salons, drive-in movie theaters, a farmer’s market vendor, a horse trainer and several Republican officeholders who sued as individuals.

Stickman, an appointee of President Donald Trump, wrote in his ruling that, while the governor’s efforts to slow the spread of the coronavirus “were undertaken with the good intention of addressing a public health emergency … even in an emergency, the authority of government is not unfettered.”

PEW POLLS: If you’re a real poll geek, you will find this article interesting. It deep dives into demographic statistics from 2016 and 2018. Ed Morrissey at Hot Air then looks at what the Pew findings might mean for 2020.

TRANSITION INTEGRITY PROJECT: A faux-bipartisan group run by individuals linked to leftist mega-donor George Soros and the Chinese Communist Party-affiliated Berggruen Institute.

They are receiving an avalanche of positive press coverage from the Slime Stream Media for their dishonest attacks on the Trump campaign and calls to Biden supporters to riot if Trump wins.

UNITED AIRLINES: Two flight attendants at United, one Black (28) and one Jewish (34), are suing the airline for allegedly excluding them from the plum flights chartered by professional sports teams.

By rights, the more senior attendants should get first dibs on these plum flights where the crews earn more, are provided with premium accommodations, and also sometimes get valuable infield passes and tickets to games, including playoff and Super Bowl games.

Apparently, all those “woke” athletes pimping for BLM prefer young, blonde women on their charter flights. And United gives them what they want.

The NBA is 81% Black; the NFL is 70% Black.

UNITED NATIONS: The U.N. has tapped South African Dr. Tlaleng Mofokeng, a former abortionist and an advocate for teen prostitution, to its top post of expert on health and human rights.

Anti-human trafficking organizations denounced Mofokeng’s call for the normalization of prostitution as merely another occupation

WALK AWAY: Today’s excerpt – “[After] I received some devastating news … I took it upon myself to write a FB post requesting for everyone to send … good thoughts, love, positivity and prayers. … My childhood best friend put me on blast for everyone to see saying that I do not deserve good thoughts, love and prayers because of my political beliefs. Needless to say, it got heated, and downright ugly.

Sadly, she is no longer my friend and we will never speak to each other again because she truly feels that my family and I are going through this devastating time because it’s our karma [from] our political beliefs. This is coming from someone who my family and I were there for when no one, not even her own family were. …

I joined this group back in July because I truly love reading everyone’s stories. [They] give me hope.

And if there’s ever a time that I need hope and reassurance, it’s today. Thank you all for reading my story. It felt good getting this off my chest and hopefully this time I can get some good, positive feedback from all of my fellow patriots.”

GRAMMY NOTES: From Mama Buzz – Hey, Polinators! We got our Veggie Tales puzzles back when Buzz was just a little guy. Bootz is following in his brother and sister’s footsteps with a love for puzzles.
