HUMAN TRAFFICKING: Buying and selling children for sex [2:21] – Jim Caviezel stars in Sound of Freedom,a taut, wrenching, inspirational true-life story that shines a light on the grim reality of child sex trafficking.”

Make no mistake. Sex trafficking is slavery. And the worst form involves children. It is no respecter of race, color, creed, gender, or sexual orientation.

SPYGATE: No evidence of collusion – On Tuesday, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence issued its fifth and final, bipartisan, “no there there” report about the Democrats’ accusation that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to influence the 2016 presidential election.

CHINA: Brutality – As part of their brutal population control efforts, the ChiComs perform forced sterilization, forced abortions (sometimes as late as 9 months), and even kill healthy newborns.

Chinese parents with multiple children are often sent to detention camps or subjected to huge fines and police raid homes searching for hidden children. These policies are even more rigorously enforced with the Muslim minorities than with ethnic Chinese.

In 2011, Obama’s Vice President Biden, who had been thoroughly briefed about these draconian measures, went to China where he made sympathetic statements about the ChiCom’s one-child policy.

In December 2013, VP Joe went back to China, this time accompanied by his son, Hunter. Less than two weeks later, Hunter’s company, Rosemont Seneca, became a partner in a new investment company backed by the state-owned Bank of China that was worth $1.5 billion.

This month, President Donald Trump said that he’s postponed trade talks with China and that he doesn’t want to talk to officials in Beijing right now.

He and his State Department have expressed displeasure with the ChiComs over their handling of the outbreak of COVID-19, their oppression of Hong Kongers, and brutal repression of Muslim minorities, and their failure to live up to the terms of their trade deal.

BTW, Jill Biden’s doctorate is in Education. Her dissertation was entitled Student Retention at the Community College: Meeting Students’ Needs.

2020: Convention After a Democratic official announced that Biden had won a majority of the party’s delegates, the virtual event switched over to the high school library where Biden and his wife waited.

Viewers got to listen to pre-recorded applause and music play as Kamala Harris and a handful of others popped off confetti behind Jill and Joe and floating heads awkwardly clapped. Ouch.

Dan Bongino remarked that it was a benefit to our side that Democrats had to do this virtual convention thing first. It gives the GOP virtual convention planners some idea what NOT to do.

One can only hope.

PALIN vs. HARRIS: Bob Zeidman makes the case that Joe Biden has made the same mistake with his VP pick that John McCain did.

Some of my friends on the left were wary of Obama and his ‘cult of personality.’ They were ready to vote for McCain until he introduced Sarah Palin. She also had little experience, she could be grating, and she said things that, frankly, didn’t seem too smart. Her political positions appealed to those on the moderate and far right, who were probably going to vote for McCain in any case, but they repelled those on the left.

2020: Convention – One of the videos shown as part of the Democratic National Convention featured “everyday Americans who have come together over the past four years to mobilize their communities amidst Donald Trump’s chaos and crises.”

One of those featured was Donna Hylton, who is listed as a “Criminal Justice Reform Advocate.”

She is also a convicted felon who spent 26 years in prison for the brutal kidnapping, rape, torture and murder of a Long Island real estate broker, Thomas Vigliarolo.

On March 20, 1985, Donna Hylton and three female accomplices drugged and kidnapped the 62-year-old Vigliarolo, then held him prisoner for 15–20 days. During that time, three men and four women, including Hylton, starved, burned, beat, sexually assaulted, raped, tortured and finally murdered him.

After she was paroled, she became a Democrat activist. She was a featured speaker at the Women’s March and is the subject of an autobiographical feature film.

In her memoir, Hylton has expressed remorse for her crime. But you gotta wonder … is she really what Democrats consider an “everyday American”?

2020: Convention – Sister Simone Campbell, one of the famous “Nuns on the Bus”, offered a prayer at the Democratic National Convention last night.

When asked recently whether her organization opposes the legal protection of abortion, she said, “It is above my pay grade. It’s not the issue that we work on. I’m a lawyer. I would have to study it more intensely than I have.”

So we can add the sin of lying to her millstone. During a 2016 interview, “From my perspective, I don’t think it’s a good policy to outlaw abortion.”

She also praised abortion activist Ilyse Hogue of NARAL for sharing on the Democrat convention stage how she aborted her unborn baby.

2020: AbortionOn May 12, Kristen Day, executive director of Democrats For Life of America (DFLA), wrote a letter to the members of the Platform Committee. She made four recommendations, three of which were specific, and none of which made it into the platform.

  • Remove the language opposing the Hyde Amendment and Helms Amendment.” These amendments bar taxpayer-funded abortions.
  • Insert the following language committing to making abortion rare.” The paragraph begins by saying, “As Democrats, we support efforts to make abortions rare.” It then goes on to make the case for adoption.
  • Insert the following language on the diversity of opinion on abortion.” This calls on the Platform to “respect the conscience of each American” on issues such as abortion.

After Roe and Doe forced legal abortion on the entire country, the Democratic Party’s position was “Safe, Legal, and Rare.” Now, it’s more like “Free, Legal, and Lots.

Democrats favor taxpayer funding of abortions done for any reason and at any time right up until the moment of natural birth.

And, despite the fact that they officially delineate “birth” as the moment when a living, DNA-unique human being transitions from “property” to “person”, they oppose requiring live-born survivors of botched abortions to be treated the same as any other live-born infant.

Apparently, if a woman pays for a dead baby, then by gum that’s what she’d better get.

Democrats also oppose allowing any conscience protection for Americans who believe abortion is child murder.

They favor forcing health care workers to participate in abortions even if their religious belief is that doing so is a grave sin.

During her speech at the Democratic National Convention, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi praised Democrats for being champions of abortion.

We are unleashing the power of women to take our rightful place in our national life by championing a woman’s right to choose.”

2020: Second Amendment – The Democrat Platform is unabashedly anti-Second Amendment. Here is the language. It sounds good and, when I was a naive Democrat, I would’ve been all for it. To see a breakdown of what some of these phrases would actually mean, click the Legal Insurrection link.

Democrats will enact universal background checks, end online sales of guns and ammunition, close dangerous loopholes that currently allow stalkers, abusive partners, and some individuals convicted of assault or battery to buy and possess firearms, and adequately fund the federal background check system. We will close the “Charleston loophole” and prevent individuals who have been convicted of hate crimes from possessing firearms. Democrats will ban the manufacture and sale of assault weapons and high capacity magazines. We will incentivize states to enact licensing requirements for owning firearms and extreme risk protection order laws that allow courts to temporarily remove guns from the possession of those who are a danger to themselves or others. We will pass legislation requiring that guns be safely stored in homes. And Democrats believe that gun companies should be held responsible for their products, just like any other business, and will prioritize repealing the law that shields gun manufacturers from civil liability.

One item I noticed that isn’t mentioned in the article is the “hate crimes” clause. Given that the Left is actively working to define as a “hate crime” any speech they disagree with (e.g., quoting The Holy Bible), this should be very concerning.

Personally, I object to the entire idea of “hate crimes”, because they criminalize thoughts. Crimes should be about what a person actually did. Motive can come into the picture during a trial and certainly should during sentencing.

2020: Border Security and Immigration Policy One of the widest policy gaps between the Democrat and Republican platforms this election season concerns these two, related issues.

The Wall – President Donald Trump is celebrating 10 miles/week of new wall being built on our southern border. Biden says, if elected, he will immediately halt border wall construction.

Biden sneered that “[Trump’s] obsession with building a wall does nothing to address security challenges while costing taxpayers billions of dollars.”

Actually, the wall has saved us far more than it cost. Plus, the Border Patrol endorsed Trump on August 18th, in part because they love the wall and the increased operational capacity it provides them.

Illegals – Biden supports free health care, food stamps and other welfare benefits for illegals and has promised to provide a pathway to citizenship for all illegal aliens living in the United States (not just the ones who were brought here as children).

Biden has also promised to stop workplace enforcement of illegal workers and those who employ them, while the Trump administration has stepped up those efforts.

Legals – Trump supports moving to a merit-based immigration system similar to that of Canada or Australia, where most immigrants are chosen according to the skill and education needs of the country.

Biden supports the current “chain migration” system which ignores merit in favor of allowing family members to enter the country and promptly get on welfare.

Terrorists – Trump imposed travel bans from terror-prone countries and capped the number of refugees to be admitted into the United States in fiscal 2020 at 18,000.

Biden has promised to undo the travel bans and increase the refugee ceiling to 125,000 per year.

2020: Taxes – If elected, Biden promises to repeal the middle class tax cuts that were passed under Trump.

For the jerknalists who keep saying Joe Biden won’t increase taxes … that’s what “repeal” means!

IOW, if you want to pay more of your hard-earned income to the government, vote Democrat.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: Dishonest COVID-19 coverage – A new poll from Franklin-Templeton Gallup suggests that the media’s “Democrat Talking Point” coverage of the COVID-19 pandemic has made a huge percentage of Americans completely ignorant of the scientific facts.

And, what a shock. Not. The false perceptions that now abound just so happen to favor the Democrats.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: Trump Economy – It’s bouncing back, just like he said it would. And, as per expectations, the Slime Stream Media does NOT want voters to know about it.

ABC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, and NBC Nightly News did NOT report that, on August 19th, the S&P 500 closed at 3,389.78, breaking a record set at its February, pre-pandemic shutdown peak (3,386.15).
