WALK AWAY: “Hi all. I just retired after serving with the NYC Police Department for 38years. Never in all my year’s of serving, have I ever experienced what our law enforcement officers are going through now. Not only is it an absolute disgrace, it is extremely scary.
“The police are this country’s first line of defense. If the Democrats have their way, the officers’ ability to do their job and protect us will be taken away. In NYC, officers are actually worried about countering force with force because of the restraints that have been put on them.
“Shootings and homicides are going through the roof, and our Democratic mayor and governor are afraid to take the steps necessary to remedy the situation. If Biden somehow makes it into the White House, we as a country will never recover.
“Please pray for our officers, our military and our president.”
2d AMENDMENT: CLICK [5:22] to see Kamala Harris defend not just mandatory gun confiscation, but also the unconstitutional use of executive power to do it [5:22] – So, no police AND no guns.
This is another point upon which Trump is not a Napoleonic dictator … or Hitler or Stalin or any of the other government-sponsored thugs who refused to allow the populace to bear arms.
FAUXCAHONTAS: On Tuesday, Democrat organizers for the convention, for reasons that utterly confound me, decided it would be a super duper idea to have Liz Warren speak at the Native American Caucus meeting.
Did they really do this? Yes, they did.

Full disclosure: I wasn’t and didn’t.
MEDIA MALPRACTICE: A new MRC analysis of all evening news coverage of President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden in June and July found the Big Three broadcast network viewers heard 150 TIMES more negative comments about Trump than Biden.
That’s not news reporting — that’s a negative advertising campaign in action.
The Big Three broadcast evening newscasts are among the highest rated programs on television today.
That means millions of viewers are witnessing the most biased presidential campaign coverage in modern media history.
PRO-LIFE PRESIDENT: Nick “Covington” Sandmann and Abby “Unplanned” Johnson will address the 2020 Republican National Convention next week. Their pro-life messages will highlight how crucial November will be for the preborn.
COVID-19: My physician told me back in March that coronavirus antibodies typically do not last long. I thought that meant people wouldn’t be able to gain lasting protection from the “novel” coronavirus.
But then I read that the important thing isn’t the level of antibodies in the blood, but the presence of the specific T-cells keyed to the virus. T-cells are the “keys” that the immune system uses to create new antibodies when a familiar virus is encountered.
This article talks about some preliminary research suggesting that people who have gotten mild-to-zero symptom cases of COVID-19, may have benefited from previous infection by one or more coronaviruses that are similar to COVID-19.
EDUCATION: [1:45] – While the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and experts from many fields have urged schools to reopen, unions in many school districts have submitted political demands that have little to do with pandemic safety as a condition of returning to the classroom.
In Arizona, teachers have staged a “sickout” that has forced a Phoenix-area school district to abandon its plans to reopen.
In better news, my Texas grands started back to school today!
CALIFORNIA: Democrats have been touting California as a model for climate action, but energy expert Michael Shellenberger notes that the state’s rolling blackouts show its policies should not be emulated.
“California’s big bet on renewables, and shunning of natural gas and nuclear, is directly responsible for the state’s blackouts and high electricity prices,” he noted.
Electricity rates in California rose six times more than the rest of the country from 2011 to 2019.
NEBRASKA: Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has signed into law a ban on Dismemberment and Evacuation abortions.
BALTIMORE: [11:57] – CLICK [2:50] to see an AWESOME ad by Kim Klacik, the MD-7 Republican candidate for Congress.
POLAND: Secretary of State Mike Pompeo signed a deal with Polish officials to deploy 1,000 more U.S. troops to Poland. There are currently 4,500 U.S. troops in Poland.
President Trump said, “The agreement will enhance our military cooperation and increase the United States’ military presence in Poland to further strengthen NATO deterrence, bolster European security, and help ensure democracy, freedom, and sovereignty.”
NORTH KOREA: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has ordered pet dogs to be confiscated in the country’s capital, claiming they represent Western “decadence.’’
A source in NoKo says, “Ordinary people raise pigs and livestock on their porches, but high-ranking officials and the wealthy own pet dogs. … Authorities have identified households with pet dogs and are forcing them to give them up or forcefully confiscating them and putting them down.’’
Given North Korea’s food shortage and their willingness to eat dog meat, wealthy dog owners fear the directive has only come about to feed the masses.
ROANOKE: I did a report in 7th grade about the “Lost Colony of Roanoke.” Supposedly, the only clue to what happened to them was “CROATOAN” carved on a post and “cro” carved on a tree, which I recall being presented as a big mystery.
They’ve now found proof that the colony moved in with the local, friendly Native American tribe known as the … big duh … Croatoans. I’m a tad bewildered as to why it was ever presented to us as a big mystery where they went. :0/
GRAMMY NOTES: Mama Buzz is keeping some in-home class work going through August, so the kids don’t lose their good habits. Today’s funny moment from home schooling multiple aged children:
Bunny: “50 + 50 equals 100.”
Bootz: “10 equals 49!”
