BORDER: The media makes a big deal about any deaths among illegal border crossers, fueling the righteous indignation of all those who want to defund the border patrol.
The media ignore the rest of the story.
The Honduran boy in the photo is just one of 4,900 people last year who were rescued by Customs and Border Protection agents and officers.
That’s more than 13 people saved PER DAY.
BIG TECH: [3:23] – How should Republicans address free speech concerns with big tech? Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe and Florida Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz weigh in.
In recent days, Twitter has slapped another warning label on one of Trump’s tweets, banned pro-Trump meme creator Carpe Donktum, suspended Breitbart’s U.K. Editor in Chief, and restricted access to Sidney Powell (Michael Flynn’s lawyer).
Some are suggesting Powell’s account was restricted after she linked to an article at American Thinker, “AG Barr is under attack by most of the media and other Democrats because they believe Obama admin criminals are above the law” by Jack Hellner.
The fact that Twitter didn’t want people to read that article is a good enough reason to read it. The link is below.
PARLER: If you tweet, check out Parler, a free speech-friendly Twitter alternative. The leftstream and #NeverTrump media are trashing it as the refuge of racists and white supremacists and fascists, which should tell you all you need to know.
Parler is pronounced like parlor, a room where people gather to talk. A message sent on the Parler app is called a parler, which is pronounced parlay (French for talk).
BLACK LIVES: Father’s Day week-end in heavily gun controlled Chicago was another nightmare of violence, resulting in at least 18 fatalities and 47 injuries.
Among the dead were a 20-month-old boy who riding in the car with his mother, a 10-year-old girl who was killed by a stray bullet from a gun fight outside the house she was visiting, two teen boys who were shot in the back by another teen for no apparent reason,
These black lives should matter too.
But BLM, their Democrat buddies, and media shills are only interested in hyping outrage about deaths can be exploited to further their Marxist agenda.
BLM: [2:58] – Also CLICK [9:17] to hear Glenn Beck follow the BLM money.
EMANCIPATION STATUE: CLICK [1:04] to hear a BLM shrew shriek at two black men defending the statue. She won’t shut up long enough to hear any answer to her repeated screams, “Why are you fighting me?!”
I’m guessing that woman is so over-the-top outraged, because her parents gave her whatever she wanted just to shut her up. If she’d been mine, she’d have been in a time out until she was ready to apologize, followed up with a talk about manners, a snack, a hug, and a nap.
2020: A new Rasmussen poll found that nearly four-out-of-10 voters believe Joe Biden has dementia, including 20% of Democrats and 30% of Independents.
ABORTION: Five justices on the Supreme Court struck down a Louisiana law requiring abortion providers to have admitting privileges in a hospital within 30 miles of the facility.
What they were really saying was, “It’s okay for abortionists to be located more than 30 miles from a hospital. It’s okay for abortionists to be too underqualified to get a hospital to give them admitting privileges. It’s okay for abortionists to shunt the women they injure and kill off on ER attendings who have never seen them before.”
The White House statement was unequivocal: “In an unfortunate ruling today, the Supreme Court devalued both the health of mothers and the lives of unborn children by gutting Louisiana’s policy that required all abortion procedures be performed by individuals with admitting privileges at a nearby hospital. States have legitimate interests in regulating any medical procedure—including abortions—to protect patient safety.
“Instead of valuing fundamental democratic principles, unelected Justices have intruded on the sovereign prerogatives of State governments by imposing their own policy preference in favor of abortion to override legitimate abortion safety regulations.”
CATHOLIC: A group of Catholics, led by The Rev. Stephen Schumacher, a priest with the St. Louis Archdiocese, defended the statue to St. Louis from a mob that gathered to tear it down. CLICK [2:20] to hear him attempt to provide a history lesson on King Louis IX.
One of the defenders said that St. Louis “symbolizes deep faith and convictions. I stand for him. And I stand for those Catholic virtues and those Catholic values that I think are important, like courage, faith and love. But ultimately, I’m here for Christ the King.”
St. Louis was King of France from 1226-70, and he partook in the Seventh and Eighth Crusades. He restricted usury and established hospitals, and personally cared for the poor and for lepers. He was canonized in 1297.
The defenders succeeded in saving the statue from destruction, but not from vandalism. The photo shows the Catholics who cleaned it up.
CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS: These people don’t know how fortunate they are that, having seen zero grizzlies, they do not get to be nominated for the prestigious Darwin Award.
