2020: Campaigning resumes [3:27] – The president traveled to Wisconsin while Joe Biden went to Pennsylvania. The Left is pimping skewed polls allegedly showing Biden having a dramatic lead.
BLACK VOTERS: Black Entertainment Television founder Robert Johnson said former Vice President Joe Biden’s comment last month – that blacks who support Trump “ain’t really black” – was “the biggest turnoff I’ve heard from a politician in a long time.”
“To have that mindset, you must have the attitude that we, Black Americans, we own you. We can take you for granted. … That to me shows you that Black Americans are an appendage of a party.” – Robert Johnson
CLICK [3:38] to hear a nearly incoherent black man scream hatred at Terrence Williams for supporting Trump. Terrence’s demeanor during the rant is hysterical and his response is excellent.
SOCIAL MEDIA: Remember back when Democrats railed against the people using social media platforms to sway elections? Yeah. They actually only care if it’s done to the benefit of Republicans.
Biden wants those same social media platforms to “Prevent political candidates and PACs from using paid advertising to spread lies and misinformation.”
I know from personal experience what they mean by “lies and misinformation.” After I posted a single article about former trannie, Walt Heyer, Facebook banned ALL links from PoliNation for about a month.
And two days ago, Facebook refused to allow me to post the graphic above. Both times, it was because I had “violated community standards.”
ALL MAIL-IN VOTING: It’s not the same as absentee voting – New Jersey gave it a try and it has amounted to a larger failure than any critic of the practice could’ve ever imagined.
Thirty-one municipalities held elections on May 12. The average disqualification rate for mail-in ballots in all 31 elections across the state was an alarming 9.6%. In Paterson, it was 20%.
Also in Paterson, NJ, there have been multiple reports that large numbers of mail-in ballots were left on the lobby floors of apartment buildings rather than being delivered to residents’ individual mailboxes.
Citizens of Paterson who are listed as having voted reported they never received a ballot and could not vote. One of them, after being shown the list of people on her block who allegedly voted, said eight of them were listed wrongly.
Four men in Paterson are being charged with voter fraud, including the vice president of the City Council and a candidate for that body.
One individual has confessed to investigators that he stole ballots out of mailboxes, both completed and uncompleted, on behalf of and at the direction of the [Alex] Mendez campaign.
COVID-19: Governors in several states have paused reopening efforts as their states see a surge in new cases.
- Gov. Greg Abbott, R-TX, has suspended elective surgeries in four Texas counties in an effort to free up hospital beds.
- In New Mexico, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham said her state will not enter phase two, which would permit bars, theaters, and non-tribal casinos to resume operations.
- In Florida, Gov. Ron DeSantis said he will not roll back reopening measures but also won’t reopen the state further.
COVID WALK AWAYS: I recently joined the Facebook Walk Away group and I’ve been amazed at how many former Trump haters have been converted because of the Task Force briefings!
One excerpted example: “During the first task force briefing, I listened over the phone with my mom, because I couldn’t stand Trump and didn’t want to look at him. (I was completely brainwashed by the media.) Then, I heard the reports, actually blaming him for a virus and I thought, ‘Something is wrong.’ After watching the briefings a few more times, I started to do my own research and I was literally floored by what I learned. This man, who does so much for the American people, is being bashed to fill a CORRUPT agenda. Today, I am one of Trump’s biggest fans and supporters, constantly trying to plant seeds and educate others. Needless to say, I’ll be voting for him this year.”
REVOLUTION: Venezuelans recognize signs of a communist takeover better than almost anyone.
CLICK [1:00] to hear a young woman say she lived through this once before. “Cubans tried to warn us, but we didn’t believe them. ‘That can never happen here.’ It happened.”
UNIVERSITY STUPIDITY: Student activists at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have petitioned for the removal of a campus statue … of President Abraham Lincoln.
CHAZ/CHOP: A handful of small business owners have filed suit against the city of Seattle for the allowance of the rioter occupied zone, which they claim has “subjected businesses, employees, and residents of that neighborhood to extensive property damage, public safety dangers, and an inability to use and access their properties.”
IMMIGRATION: More progress was made on Trump’s Big Beautiful Wall during the COVID lockdown than during any other period since Trump took office [2:39].
Also, the Supreme Court has ruled 7-2 that people seeking asylum in the United States have no right to a federal court hearing before being removed from the country.
Justice Alito wrote: “[T]he court long ago held that Congress is entitled to set the conditions for an alien’s lawful entry into this country and that, as a result, an alien at the threshold of initial entry cannot claim any greater rights under the Due Process Clause.”
MEDIA MALPRACTICE: [7:08] – The Slime Stream Media sickens me.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS: [2:26] – James O’Keefe got his start with what he thought would be treated as the prank it was. Instead of laughing at him, the PTBs at Rutgers University bought his facetious argument that Lucky Charms cereal is culturally insensitive, historically inaccurate and blasphemous.
PARENTING: Thomas Lickona reports here on the results of a longitudinal study of 20,000 families that correlated parenting styles with life outcomes.
The adult children of parents who were neither demanding nor responsive had the worst outcomes followed by those whose parents had been one or the other, but not both.
By contrast, the adult children who had been raised by parents who were both demanding (high in their expectations) and responsive (high in warmth, nurturing, and support) demonstrated the highest levels of confidence, respect for others, self-control, and school achievement.
“These parents encouraged individuality and age-appropriate independence, but also valued obedience to adult requirements. They knew where their children were and what they were doing. They praised positive behavior, gave rational explanations for their rules and expectations, and listened to their child’s perspective. They engaged in give-and-take but did not base their decisions solely on their child’s desires. Consequences for misbehavior were logically related to the child’s actions.”
GRAMMY NOTES: Nonno drove back with the Mascots. Buzz and Bunny will be celebrating their First Holy Communions tomorrow morning!
