COVID-19: The Left demonized hydroxychloroquine for one reason and one reason ONLY … because Donald Trump had mentioned its potential as a preventative/treatment for COVID-19.

I think “Trump Derangement Syndrome” needs a stronger word in the middle.

COVID-19: An Illinois judge destroyed Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker’s stay-at-home order, saying it had devolved into “insanity” and become “completely devoid of anything approaching common sense.”

He pointed out that Pritzker’s family members violating the order was particularly offensive. “When laws do not apply to those who make them, people are not being governed, they are being ruled. Americans don’t get ruled.”

A short time later, the U.S. Department of Justice also took Pritzker to task, saying his “orders exceed the authority granted to the governor by the Illinois legislature.”

The Michigan Supreme Court on Friday ordered that the barber can stay open. Owosso barber Karl Manke defied Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s lockdown order and had his business license suspended as retaliation.

The state supreme court’s seven justices yesterday remanded the case back to the appeals court for plenary consideration.

It is incumbent on the courts to ensure decisions are made according to the rule of law, not hysteria,” Justice David Viviano wrote. “One hopes that this great principle — essential to any free society, including ours — will not itself become yet another casualty of COVID-19.

COVID-19: After the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison stood up for its right to free exercise of religion, the Public Health Department for the City of Madison and Dane County, Wisconsin, removed its arbitrary 50-person cap on in-person religious services.

Churches now have the same percent-of-capacity limits as similar secular activities.

RIOTS: The alleged reason for all the violence was that racist cops had supposedly murdered an unarmed black man.

But the coroner’s report shows that George Floyd died of a combination of drug abuse, heart disease, and hypertension, NOT from being restrained by police officers.

RIOTS: Seventeen people have been killed in nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd—ranging in age from 18 to 77.

Most of those who died were either current or former law enforcement officers, or just innocent bystanders who got caught in a violent situation.

RIOTS: CLICK [13:42] to listen to a smart black guy tell the truth about what is really wrong. It is not about black lives; it has always been about the Leftist agenda.

Also …

CLICK [2:19] to hear a disgusted black man blast the hypocrisy of the Left. “The reality is in Libya right now there are slave markets where black men are bought and sold today, as property, today. Not 200 years ago, today.” Etc.

2020_06 09 Not fooled by your lies

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: Attorney General William Barr pushed back at CBS’ Margaret Brennan, who claimed the protests near the White House were peaceful.

All I heard was comments about how ‘peaceful’ protesters were. I didn’t hear about the fact that there were 150 law enforcement officers injured and many taken to the hospital with concussions. So it wasn’t a peaceful protest. We had to get control of Lafayette Park, and we had to do it as soon as we were able to do that.”

DEMOCRATS SUCK: CLICK [3:18] to hear an African Woman OBLITERATE Pelosi and her fellow Virtue Signaling Dems for their ignorant use of Kente fabric.

As for the kneeling for a minute … what a load of theatrical CRAP. Democrats don’t do diddly to solve any of the real problems of poor black communities. In fact, I think they are the cause of most of them.

DEMOCRATS SUCK: A veto-proof majority of the Minneapolis City Council vowed on Sunday to disband the Minneapolis Police Department.

Twelve of the council’s 13 members are Democrats. The thirteenth belongs to the Green Party of Minnesota.

In response to the Left’s “defund the police” movement, actor James Woods tweeted, “Why don’t you folks simply ‘opt out’ from police protection?

“You could all send notarized letters to your local departments that you no longer wish to participate.

DEMOCRATS SUCK: Cornell’s cancel culture wants David Collum, a distinguished Professor of Chemistry at Cornell University, and former Chair of the department FIRED, because he tweeted that the “cop shoves old man to the ground” video didn’t look to him like a case of police brutality.

Responding to someone who called police conduct “appalling,” Collum expressed the view (1) “That guy needed to give that cop space. Wasn’t brutality: the guy was feeble. The cracked skull (which I agree was the likely event) was self inflicted,” and (2) “Can you imagine how fried these cops are at this point? The guy got a nudge. The old guy had something in his hand. Looked like maybe a taser. If were a cop, my nerves would be raw. I am tired of these riots.

Collum self-identifies as libertarian, making him one of a small percentage of openly non-liberal professors on a large campus dominated by far-left social justice dogma.

Those seeking to get him fired for exercising his First Amendment rights say his very presence on campus makes them feel unsafe. Oh and also because his employment violates their desire for a “diverse and inclusive campus” where, apparently, everybody has to think exactly the same way they do.

Hopefully, the professor’s tenure will protect him from the hate being perpetrated against him in the name of “diversity.” But it’s got me thinking. They only get away with this stuff because people cave. And when people cave, they get more bold and do it for more and more absurd reasons.

I heard Donald Trump say once, “I never apologize.” At the time, I thought it was an iffy spiritual position. But in the context of this cancel culture thing, I think it’s the best position. Hopefully, he does apologize to his family and friends and most importantly God when it’s appropriate!

2020: Pennsylvania held its primary election on June 2, 2020. In Pennsylvania, only registered party members can vote in their party’s primary.

There are approximately 800,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans in Pennsylvania, yet more Republicans turned out to vote in the uncontested election.

And, despite the fact that Biden’s hometown and his national campaign headquarters are both in Pennsylvania, Slow Joe earned less than 80% of his party’s support.

Bernie Sanders, who dropped out long ago and has urged his supporters to back Biden, won nearly 20%.

While national polls show Biden leading Trump, it’s the swing states that matter. No Democrat has lost the state and won the presidency since 1960. Trump currently leads there by 4 percentage points.

Meanwhile, Pennsylvanians report that Trump signs are everywhere. And many of them are homemade. One sign dealer said that, even during the quarantine, people were coming in to get Trump signs for their yards.

2020: CLICK to see another sad sign of his mental deterioration.

I’ve pondered how Trump would handle being on a debate stage with Biden. I know The Donald enjoys aiming pot shots at people who can give as good as they get. But I don’t believe he’s cruel.

2020: Democrats engaging in that “grassroots” activism they’re so famous for.

I have seen this before. I remember one guy telling a reporter he didn’t care about politics, but he was getting paid good money to stand around holding a sign, so what the hell.

2020_06 09 gregory

CATHOLICS: Apparently, Washington, DC’s Archbishop Wilton Gregory is more Democrat than he is Catholic. Last week, he was mad that President and Mrs. Trump were allowed to pray at JPII’s shrine.

Now, he’s sending out emails encouraging clergy and lay people to congregate for an event that is allegedly about praying to end racism and promote the sanctity of all life … except it’s timed to coincide with another, vehemently anti-Trump protest.

And he wants the professional Catholics to show up in uniform. “Clergy and Religious, please wear cassock, habit or black clericals.

According to those close to the unfolding events, Gregory is trying to orchestrate an event where the media can capture compelling visuals of priests in cassocks who supposedly think Trump is not fit for office.

2020_06 08 OK

PRO-LIFE: Oklahoma has enacted one of the most aggressive pro-life bills in history. The Oklahoma Senate voted 37 – 9, the State House voted 76 – 18 in favor of The Unborn Person Wrongful Death Act, which Oklahoma’s Republican Governor Kevin Stitt has now signed into law.

The new law allows for parents and grandparents to file lawsuits against abortionists who perform fraudulent or coerced abortions, and seek damages for mental pain and anguish, as well as monetary damages as a result of the wrongful death.

GRAMMY NOTES: Bootz is a good helper. But oh my … he’s growing up! His little legs don’t have that chubby toddler look any more!

AMAZING: [7:21] – This guy got about 2 dozen, good sized fish out of a dry lake bed using 4 bottles of soda and a container of Mentos!
