1944 and 2020

COVID-19: The World Health Organization estimated the virus had a 3.4% death rate. Now, with much wider testing, the official estimate for those who are symptomatic has been dropped a full 3% to 0.4%.

And with the new antibody test being used, they’re finding that about 35% of those infected are asymptomatic, which drops the overall infection fatality rate (IFR) to just 0.26%.

HYPOCRITE: Thy name is Democrat – Do as I say, not as I do. That was Virginia Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam’s attitude over the weekend.

According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Northam announced last week that he would issue a statewide policy on Tuesday requiring Virginians to wear face masks while in public. He told the public their “homework” for the weekend was to buy face coverings for themselves and their families.

This photo was taken on Saturday.

VOTER FRAUD: Nearly two-thirds of American voters say the country moving entirely to mail-in voting would likely increase voter fraud.

BIDEN: I’m seriously wondering if the Biden Clan is getting some kind of payoff, because there is NO way this is about putting Joe Biden in the Oval Office. My best guess is it’s to keep Bernie off the ticket.

It’s been obvious to me since the Hillary vs. Obama convention that the fix is always in with those people. The PTBs don’t care what the sheeple Dem voters want. THEY pick the candidates.

We want to clarify that the NAACP is a non-partisan organization and does not endorse candidates for political office at any level.” – The NAACP

REOPEN HERO: Shiawassee County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Stewart has ruled in favor of Karl Manke, the Michigan barber who defied the state’s stay-at-home order and opened his business.

Michigan’s attorney general responded by suspending his license and issuing cease-and-desist and temporary restraining orders. Michigan Chief Medical Executive Dr. Joneigh Khaldun had argued in an affidavit that Manke’s shop was a threat to public health, but Stewart said not enough evidence was shown to prove that.

Manke has become one of the most recognizable faces of the anti-lockdown movement in Michigan and was one of 12 barbers to show up at an event Wednesday to cut hair for roughly 400 people who have been urging Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer for weeks to ease lockdown restrictions.

2020_05 26 Reade's lawyer

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: When Tara Reade hired Douglas Wigdor, the Associated Press described him as a Trump donor. Wigdor told AP that he was not being paid for his work with Reade and his firm denied there was a political motivation for his decision to represent her.

When Wigdor decided to drop Reade as a client, The New York Times described him as “a leading #MeToo lawyer.” Wigdor said his departure was “by no means a reflection on whether then-Senator Biden sexually assaulted Ms. Reade.” He said he believed her story.

My guess is he took the case hoping there’d be a possible payoff for him and his firm, then dropped it after he learned enough to realize there would be no money in it.

GEOGRAPHY: If you go as far west as you can go and still be in Alaska, you end up on an island that is technically in the Eastern Hemisphere.

Thus, ALASKA is home to the point in the United States that is farthest EAST!

MUST WATCH: [21:39] – Squirrels were stealing this man’s bird seed so he solved the problem with mechanical engineering. You are about to watch 21 minutes of squirrel gymnastics and regret nothing.

This is amazing, funny, and totally worth your time, provided you don’t become overly distracted by the fact that he solved the entire problem with the “slippery stuff” on the pole! LOL
