SUNSHINE AT LAST: I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that is a real tear in Adam Schiff’s eye, cuz he is SO screwed. – The House Intelligence Committee FINALLY released transcripts of 57 closed-door interviews with witnesses in the Trump-Russia collusion probe and they PROVE there NEVER was ANY evidence that Trump colluded with Russia.
We have long suspected the probe was, as Tucker puts it, an “an elaborate and intentional hoax, staged by the most most unscrupulous and power-hungry political players this country has ever seen.” Now we know it with absolute certainty.
Click to hear Tucker talk about some of what’s in the more than 6,000 pages of transcripts [11:25].
McENANY: She’s so awesome! [1:53] – Click to hear Trump’s new Press Secretary talk about the release of the House Intelligence Committee transcripts from the Russia investigation.
“I’m very grateful that those transcripts were released yesterday,“ McEnany said during a White House press briefing Friday. “Because those individuals were saying much different things publicly than they were saying privately.”
OBAMA: He knew – On January 5, 2017, then-President Barack Obama told then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates and then-FBI Director James Comey that he knew the FBI had recorded the phone calls between Michael Flynn and then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.
These calls had been secretly recorded by the FBI and became the basis of the FBI and DOJ’s persecution of Flynn. The calls were in line with Flynn’s responsibilities as Trump’s National Security Advisor and nothing untoward was said by either party.
But recently unsealed documents have revealed that certain FBI officials who hated both Flynn and Trump had secretly discussed how they could use their knowledge of the contents of the calls to frame Flynn for lying so as to get him fired from Trump’s cabinet and even prosecuted. And Obama knew.
There is a timeline of the Flynn case at the second link below.
THE DAN BONGINO SHOW: Ep. 1246 The Destruction And Redemption of General Flynn [1:12:09].
First six minutes: The media’s apopletic response to the Department of Justice dropping its case against retired General Michael Flynn.
After the media montage, he goes through the history of the Flynn case.
23 minutes: Among the document the FBI was trying to keep hidden cites the reasons the FBI cited for opening a criminal investigation into General Michael Flynn. One, he was advising Trump. Two, he knew some Russians. Three, he went to Russia in 2015.
32 minutes: Montage of Adam Schiff lying over and over and over.
51 minutes: The FBI was about to close its case against Flynn on January 4th, 2017, because they hadn’t found diddly against him. However, the announcement that Flynn would be President Trump’s National Security Adviser threw the cabal into a tizzy, so Strzok told the agents not to close it just yet. Brennan and Clapper had dinner on the 4th, then on 5th, there was the meeting in the Oval Office that I reported on above (below photo of Obama and Flynn). So after Obama, Comey, and Yates collude in the Oval to target Flynn for a bogus Logan Act violation. Also on January 5th, “somebody” deletes Christopher Steele’s email account which allegedly contained all his documentation for the dossier, which we know now was total fiction.
1 hr: A Pentagon analyst, Adam Lovinger, discovers the Steel dossier lies were paid for with tax dollars. He knows Flynn and tries to whistleblow. He loses his security clearance and gets shunted off to file papers. An investigation shows he did not violate any security protocols; the word “not” disappears from the report. Meanwhile, Flynn is asking questions about the Steele dossier. The cabal has to get rid of Flynn; they all know the entire Russia collusion thing is a hoax and they can’t have him look into it.
TRUMP ECONOMY: The unemployment rate was 4.4% in March. It skyrocketed to 14.7% in April as the economy lost 20.5 million jobs to the coronavirus.
President Trump told Fox News that the job numbers were “totally expected” and that “there’s no surprise.” He also said that he will “bring it back.”
COVID-19: State and local government officials are considering relaxing stay-at-home orders. A closer look at the outbreak shows that the pandemic is concentrated in certain areas.
Just 10 states account for 70% of all coronavirus cases in the country. In fact, 52% of the counties in the United States have had no COVID-19 deaths.
Although I live in one of the hardest hit states, my particular area has been largely spared. I live on the border of two counties (green dot). Both had early outbreaks, but due to our mitigation efforts, the disease never got a foothold.
All together, the two counties have had only 160 cases and zero local deaths; two coronavirus patients who were sent here for treatment didn’t make it.
INDIANA: Catholic Masses will resume in Indiana by May 30 “with restrictions outlined by each diocese,” according to the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. The exemption from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass has been extended in Indiana until Aug. 15.
IMMIGRATION: On Thursday, the Supreme Court unanimously upheld a federal statute that forbids encouraging illegal aliens to remain in the U.S. unlawfully.
The decision voided an earlier decision by the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, which had ruled that a federal anti-harboring statute was unconstitutional on the grounds that it violated the First Amendment by restricting free speech. The justices criticized the Ninth Circuit judges for “drastically” straying from judicial norms.
The decision brings to a close a court battle that began in 2010 when a grand jury indicted California immigration consultant Evelyn Sineneng-Smith for selling illegal aliens certifications they didn’t qualify for that allowed them to remain in the U.S.
She made more than $3.3 million off of her scheme.
VIRAL DONKEY DOO: I really loathe people who slander anyone, but especially really good people like Mike Pence.
Mike Pence went to a rehabilitation center in Virginia and, before his speech, he helped unload boxes of PPE from a van. There were still some empty boxes in the van, so Pence joked, “Can I carry the empty ones? Just for the camera?”
“Absolutely, they’re a lot easier,” came the reply, followed by laughter.
Jimmy Kimmel pushed out this FAKE NEWS tale: “Mike Pence pretending to carry empty boxes of PPEs into a hospital is the perfect metaphor for who he is and what he’s doing: A big box of nothing delivering another box of nothing.”
It went viral, with 105,000 Likes and nearly 50,000 retweets.
Raw Story devoted a whole post to this titled, “BUSTED: Mike Pence caught on hot mic asking to deliver ’empty’ PPE boxes into a nursing home ‘for the camera’.”
Not surprisingly, the deceptively edited clip was very, very popular with the same set of people who were certain that high school kid Nick Sandmann was a villain. E.g., MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell, Vox’s Aaron Rupar and Matt Yglesias, NY Times columnist Jamelle Bouie.
VP Pence’s communications person tweeted, “This is absolute garbage spread by @JimmyKimmel. Pence is clearly joking about empty boxes & if Kimmel showed the full clip from CSPAN, not the one he selectively edited, you see and hear it. #FakeNews https://t.co/Hy2oc5xhPe https://t.co/5hFsfxKy9J Jon Thompson (@JonThompsonDC) May 8, 2020.”
Kimmel apologized and deleted his tweet, but we all know that no more than a handful of the tens of thousands who saw it will ever know it was FAKE NEWS.
