BUY AMERICAN: [1:40] – The Trump administration is working to reduce our reliance on foreign manufacturers, China most particularly.

2020_05 06 China

CHINA LIED, PEOPLE DIED: China’s coronavirus lies are piling up rapidly. The ChiComs …

  1. Lied about the virus being capable of transmission between humans.
  2. Imprisoned their own doctors who tried to warn the world.
  3. Banned testing and had critical samples destroyed.
  4. Dramatically altered import/export of PPEs to hoard materials they knew the world would need.
  5. Sold PPEs to desperate countries at inflated prices.
  6. Forced Italy to buy back the same PPEs that Italy had donated to China.
  7. Refuse to let WHO, CDC, and similar authorities to come in or to see early data.
  8. Allowed Chinese citizens to travel from infected Wuhan to other parts of the world.
  9. Complained when foreign nations (belatedly) restricted travel from China.
  10. Tried to blame U.S. military members from bringing the virus into China.
  11. Continue to sell faulty coronavirus tests, masks, and protective equipment to other nations.

COVID-19: Stephen Mosher says, “I’ve studied China for decades. Here’s how I know the virus was engineered in a Wuhan lab.”

Whoa! Not just “escaped from” but actually “engineered by” a Wuhan lab.

Read for details.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: [3:43] – Like the pond scum in the Democratic Party, the slime in our media seem to HATE America’s values and traditions.

PENCE: Vice President Mike Pence’s close personal relationship with governors of both parties has been a key to the federal response to the coronavirus pandemic.

Drawing on his experience as a governor, the Vice President hosts regular calls with state leaders to discuss everything from testing to ventilators.

2020_05 06 nursing home

NEW YORK: According to newly released numbers, at least 4,813 people have died from COVID-19 in New York State’s nursing homes since March 1.

This new number includes more than 1,700 previously undisclosed deaths, but does not include nursing home residents who got sick at their long-term facilities, but died in hospitals.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo truly has blood on his hands. It has been known from the very first outbreak in Washington that the elderly are particularly vulnerable to this virus.

But rather than make nursing homes off limits, Cuomo forced long-term care facilities to accept patients and nurses who had tested positive to the novel coronavirus.

His rationale was allegedly to keep other areas of health-care infrastructure from being overwhelmed. However, those other areas have reportedly been far from overwhelmed.

His rationale was allegedly to keep other areas of health-care infrastructure from being overwhelmed. However, those other areas have reportedly been far from overwhelmed, in large part because all non-essential procedures were canceled and the shut down kept people from driving (and getting into accidents).

Samaritan’s Purse says their 68-bed respiratory care field hospital in Central Park treated about 50 patients at a time, while the 1,000 bed U.S.N.S. Comfort and the 2,500 beds the Army Corps of Engineers built at Javits Center largely remained empty.

ANTI-LOCKDOWN: When medical professionals insist that people wash their hands and avoid large gatherings, they provide an important service. When the government tells citizens they cannot leave their homes, go to work, go to church, or get a haircut, however, it is going beyond the bounds of medical science.” – Tyler O’Neil at PJ Media [3:02].

If more people realized that government’s responses have trended more toward authoritarian blanket demands rather than actual risk assessments and properly targeted protection measures, we’d all be better off moving forward.” – Scott Shackford at Reason

Government officials in some places are starting to concede to protesting citizens’ demands to reopen. However, many blue states remain on an “indefinite” lockdown, which has sparked the most fierce protests.

Gov. Cuomo’s lockdown officially ends on May 15, but he said on Monday he would extend it for some regions of the state where the data suggests there is still a problem.

I’ve been following my county stats regularly; the total is very low and there have been no new cases in at least a week. If Cuomo actually lets the data drive decision-making, we should start reopening soon.

2020_05 06 hypocrites

HYPOCRITES: Chicago’s mayor, Lori “stay at home or we will jail you” Lightfoot went out and got a haircut. In typical Democrat “rules are for thee, not for me” fashion, she didn’t appreciate being challenged about her hypocrisy.

“I am the public face of this city. I am on national media and I am out in the public eye. I take my personal hygiene very seriously. As I said, I felt like I needed to have a haircut. I am not able to do that myself, and so I got a haircut,” Lightfoot said.

Click to hear Tucker talk about Democrat politicians who insist we have to stay home possibly forever, yet who have obviously broken their own quarantines to get elective cosmetic procedures.

2020_05 06 schiff

PATHETIC: Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is beginning to remind me of Hillary “I’m still not president WAHHHH” Clinton.

Like the song says, Adam, you need to “Let it go.”

2020_05 06 ford v reade

BIDEN: In 2018, Democrats were demanding the FBI investigate Christine Blasey Ford’s accusation of sexual assault by Brett Kavanaugh. The DOJ said no, because there were no federal laws involved. And according to Ed Morrissey at Hot Air, Ford’s story didn’t have enough specificity to warrant even a local police investigation.

Now, Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), dismissed calls for an investigation into Tara Reade’s accusation of sexual assault by Joe Biden. And Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House of Representatives, has decided she believes Joe didn’t do it, so as far as she’s concerned, the issue is no longer worth discussing.

2020_05 06 canada

ONTARIO: In Canada’s nationalized health “care” system, you get what the government says you can have when the government says you can have it. Long delays are standard, but since the pandemic, they’ve gotten even longer and more lethal.

Ontario health minister Christine Elliott admitted this week that 35 people may have died because they didn’t get cardiac surgery in time. Cancer surgeries have also been canceled or delayed until after the pandemic.

Since most of the delayed procedures are medically required, the longer procedures are postponed, the worse health outcomes Ontarians could have and the harder it will be for hospitals to eventually clear the backlog of delayed procedures.” – Ontario’s Financial Accountability Office

But, not to worry, pregnant people! While Ontario’s hospitals will not cut out your cancer or replace that dicky valve, you can absolutely get your unborn baby killed promptly.

INSPIRING: I hope y’all find time for this one. And grab a tissue. [29:42] – Y.G. Nyghtstorm used to hate God and blame him for what happened to him in his youth. Now, he is a pro-life, pro-Trump Catholic. He tells his story on The John-Henry Westen Show.

I know that description sounds kind of dry. Trust me … this man’s personal testimony is anything but “dry.”
