CONGRESS: The Republican-led Senate is back. The Democrat-led House is still on vacation.

We will continue to stand together for the American people — even as we stand six feet apart.” – Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY)

TOLERANCE: [4:57] – The speaker of the New York City Council demanded that Samaritan’s Purse close down its volunteer field hospital and leave the city, because of its “bigoted” and “hateful” beliefs that “marriage is exclusively the union of one genetic male and one genetic female.

There were zero complaints against the field hospital for discrimination or anything else.

SPYGATE: Update [21:05] – Gina Shakespeare tells the full story of Sergei Millian, the man who supposedly was the central source of some of the most outrageous allegations regarding Donald Trump in the Steele dossier.

Dan Bongino has mentioned that Steele and Simpson cobbled together a bunch of lies, then tried to make them sound legit by attaching the names of real Russians who, in fact, had had nothing to do with any of it. Millian is one of those Russians.

This episode of Declassified is long and dense. I can only recommend it to those  of you who are fascinated by the Spygate story and have been following it closely enough to know the players.

For the rest of y’all, whatever in here is truly important will come out eventually, cuz Rep. Devin Nunes is all over it like white on rice.

2020_05 05 melania michelle

CNN: Don Lemon boasted that former First Lady Michelle Obama has been more attractive, educated, and successful in her life than current First Lady Melania Trump. As per usual for the Trump-deranged, Slime Stream Media, this statement is based only on emotion, not facts.

Attractive is in the eye of the beholder and I’m no fashion plate, so I hesitate to comment too honestly. But dayum … Melania was a very successful fashion model long before she met Donald Trump. Plus, SHE didn’t have to be photoshopped before she could look good on the cover of Vogue (where she appeared before becoming First Lady).

Educated goes to Michelle, who has a B.A. (Princeton) and a J.D. (Harvard). Melania finished high school and one year of university before dropping out to pursue a career in modeling.

Successful isn’t even close. Melania speaks at least 5 languages and had a great career in a highly competitive field long before a New York billionaire started courting her. By contrast, Michelle had her law license yanked by court order for [records sealed] and has done little of note in her life that wasn’t based on her relationship to Barack.

GRAMMY NOTES: Buzz and Bunny got new scooters, which means Bootz inherited the small one. He’s tickled that it’s now all his. They’re still mostly locked down, but spring has sprung, so they’re outdoors as much as possible.
