Hypocrisy makes me nuts!
March 31, 2020: Chris Cuomo tested positive for COVID-19. He continued to work, anchoring his CNN show from his basement where he claimed he was quarantined to protect his family.
April 12, 2020: Chris Cuomo packed his family into the car and took a 30-minute drive from their home in Southampton to some property they are building on in East Hampton. A biker recognized him and criticized him for breaking quarantine.
According to the biker, Cuomo got angry. “He said, ‘Who the hell are you?! I can do what I want!’ He just ranted, screaming, ‘I’ll find out who you are!’ I said to him, ‘Your brother is the coronavirus czar, and you’re not even following his rules — unnecessary travel. He just began to boil more. He said, ‘This is not the end of this. You’ll deal with this later. We will meet again.’ If that’s not a threat, I don’t know what is.”
The biker says he filed a report with the East Hampton police, because he hates bullies and wanted to get something on the record. He also said the police gave him “a huge pushback” about the report.
April 13, 2020: According to a report in the New York Post, Chris Cuomo “had an existential mini-crisis on his SiriusXM show.”
The article describes Cuomo trashing CNN, President Trump, Democrats who lie, Republicans who parrot talking points, and President Trump.
He said his battle with COVID-19 has made him rethink his values and question his position as a public figure. “I don’t like what I do professionally. I don’t think it’s worth my time.”
Then he launched into a tale about a “loser biker” who confronted him on Easter Sunday for being outside his property with his family despite his coronavirus diagnosis.
“I don’t want some jackass, loser, fat tire biker being able to pull over and get in my space and talk bulls–t to me, I don’t want to hear it,” he said.
The biker said the East Hampton police had an entirely different attitude toward him after they saw the story about Cuomo’s radio rant.
April 14, 2020: Chris Cuomo said he hadn’t gone 72 hours without a fever.
April 17, 2020: Cuomo talked about his wife, Cristina, who he said was a little frustrated with him, because “I’m almost certainly how she got sick.” Ya think?
April 21, 2020: CNN staged Chris Cuomo “emerging” for the “first time” from his basement quarantine, claiming he had “spent the last three weeks isolating himself from the rest of his family in his basement while he battled the novel coronavirus.”
“All right, here it is: The official re-entry from the basement,” Cuomo said while emerging from the bottom floor and walking over to greet his wife and children. “This is what I’ve been dreaming of, literally, for weeks.”
April 22, 2020: Chris’ wife, Cristina, reveals their 14-year-old son, Mario, has the virus. The incubation period for COVID-19 is between 2 and 14 days.
April 29, 2020: Chris Cuomo says the April 12 incident with the biker in East Hampton never happened. He was just in his own backyard, because he was past quarantine.
Can we just review briefly? HE said on April 14 that he still had a fever. And HE said on April 21 that he’d been in his basement for three solid weeks.
