JACKBOOTS: What idiot Democrat came up with THIS moronic rule? [:39] – California opened up the state’s beaches, parks, and playground, asking people to continue social distancing.

In the video, the officer on the horse tells the elderly couple that chairs aren’t allowed. People who venture outside are only supposed to sit down briefly, in the dirt, like when resting from walking or swimming. So no chairs. Or tents.

In Riverside County, California, pool use is restricted to one person at a time (parents with small children excepted). This is regardless of the size of the pool and/or the fact that the people who want to swim together are also all living together.

On the bright side, Mayor Martin Hicks of Grants, New Mexico has asked businesses to open their doors this week in defiance of Gov. Grisham’s stay-at-home orders.

At least four businesses opened its doors. All of them had some sort of social distancing measures in place such as allowing only one or two customers in at a time.

TRUMP ECONOMY: It seems like we were all taught/indoctrinated in the Leftist Myth of St. FDR that he saved us from the Great Depression. I have since seen stuff that suggests his economic policies and perhaps well-meaning mismanagement prolonged the bad times by many years.

I also saw something yesterday about how the pandemic economy will rival the Great Depression and I thought, “Hmm, it will be interesting to see how Trump handles it, since his economic policies and management approach are the exact opposite of FDR’s.”

Today, I came across this article by Thomas Sowell from 2010, “The myth of how the Great Depression was resolved.”

In it he notes that, “although the big stock market crash occurred in October 1929, unemployment never reached double digits in any of the next 12 months after that crash. Unemployment peaked at 9 percent, two months after the stock market crashed– and then began drifting generally downward over the next six months, falling to 6.3 percent by June 1930.

Unemployment didn’t get really bad until AFTER the federal government decided to “do something” in June 1930.

Within six months after this government intervention, unemployment shot up into double digits– and stayed in double digits in every month throughout the entire remainder of the decade of the 1930s, as the Roosevelt administration expanded federal intervention far beyond what Hoover had started.

The very fact that we still remember the stock market crash of 1929 is remarkable, since there was a similar stock market crash in 1987 that most people have long since forgotten.

What was the difference between these two stock market crashes? The 1929 stock market crash was followed by the most catastrophic depression in American history, with as many as one-fourth of all American workers being unemployed. The 1987 stock market crash was followed by two decades of economic growth with low unemployment.

But that was only one difference. The other big difference was that the Reagan administration did not intervene in the economy after the 1987 stock market crash– despite many outcries in the media that the government should ‘do something’.”

CHINA: Continued mismanagement and lies [:59] – A school that recently reopened has been abruptly shut down again with no explanation.

2020_04 30 cnn china

The tweet is the exact opposite of true. China is still reeling (and lying about) the virus. Meanwhile, Trump’s public-private partnerships have worked miracles.

The only news source I see reporting on it is Epoch Times, but they are doing an incredible job. If you’re not reading ET, you’re not hearing about the real China. You’re just getting rehashed ChiCom PR like what CNN passes off as “news.”

Newsbusters reports that NBC also gave the ChiComs a platform to push their pandemic propaganda.

BIDEN: [:50] – Some activist women’s groups and key Democratic officials are reportedly getting fed up with Joe Biden hiding, while they get peppered with questions about Tara Reade’s allegations.

Joe Morrissey at Hot Air writes, “I’m skeptical that those activists really will push it any farther than this. This is probably as close as they get to attempting to force Biden out into the open. If Biden publicly calls Reade a liar — which is his only tenable political and legal option — then these groups will have to decide whether they prioritize their cause over their partisan ambitions. We got an answer to that over twenty years ago when Bill Clinton was president, and I suspect the answer hasn’t changed since then, either.”

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: The Democrats with Bylines at ABC are working hard to help their presumptive nominee find the finish line.

  1. ABC’s World News Tonight called Hillary’s utterly predictable endorsement “another big milestone” for the Biden campaign.
  2. ABC News continue their blackout of former Biden Senate staffer Tara Reade and her allegations of sexual assault.
  3. ABC is also lying about how they’re not covering Tara Reade’s accusations. ABC’s Jonathan Karl absurdly claimed that a single Washington Post story “proved” that the media as a whole was reporting on the allegations.

HILLARY: The pandemic would be a terrible crisis to waste [:36] – Too bad progs learned all the WRONG lessons from this thing.

SPYGATE:  John Solomon reports that Christopher Steele recently testified in a British court that he believed both Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice knew about his anti-Trump research as it was going on in the summer of 2016.

Steele also revealed that one piece of anti-Trump information he obtained in 2016 — a since-debunked claim that Trump secretly may have communicated with Russia through a computer server at the Alfa Bank — didn’t come from a Russian intelligence source but rather from one of the lawyers at Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s law firm.

This testimony makes the most direct link to date between Steele’s Trump-Russia collusion research and the top people on the Clinton campaign, in the Democratic Party, and at the Obama White House.

2020_04 30 Comey McCabe Priestap

FLYNN: Newly unsealed, internal FBI documents not only exonerate Michael Flynn, but hopefully will lead to prosecution of the people who tried to ruin his life.

Some of them prove that General Flynn only pleaded guilty because government agents threatened to go after his son if he didn’t.

Other documents reveal that James Comey (then-Director of the FBI), Andrew McCabe (then-Deputy Director of the FBI), and Bill Priestap (then-Head of Counterintelligence) didn’t care about Michael Flynn’s contacts with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak.

The Kislyak contacts were merely the pretext they chose to go about destroying an American patriot they hated. Their goal was to get him into so much trouble that, at the least, Trump would have to fire him and at the most, get him prosecuted.

2020_04 30 facebook china

FACEBOOK: They claim to be the arbiters of truth, but they aren’t even honest enough to admit when they get something wrong. Facebook pinned a “fake news” label on a February 22 New York Post op-ed, “Don’t buy China’s story: The coronavirus may have leaked from a lab. ”

There has been a great deal of evidence that this is exactly what happened. Facebook quietly removed the slanderous label, but didn’t apologize or offer any explanation of accountability.

The Post’s opinion editor says that the “fact checker” that Facebook to justify censoring the information is a scientist who worked at Wuhan lab with Chinese communists!

2020_04 30 relig free

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: A Virginia church has filed a federal lawsuit against Governor Ralph Northam for sending police officers to break up a Pal Sunday service. There were 16 people, space far apart, in a sanctuary that is rated for 293 people.

The pastor was charged with violating Virginia Governor Northam’s COVID Order 55, which arbitrarily limits church services to no more than ten people. The pastor faces a penalty up to a year in jail and/or a $2,500 fine.

All but nine states have religious exemptions for stay-at-home pandemic orders. The states that ban in-person services are Alaska, California, Idaho, Illinois, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, and Washington.

THE ANTI-AOC: [4:05] – Air Force veteran Anna Paulina is running for congress in Florida state’s 13th congressional district and her one goal is to take on AOC.

  1. Regarding that fine, upstanding, well-respected, not-rapey-at-all Democrat nominee-apparent Joe Biden, his ‘woman troubles’ will soon be a thing of the past. Joe has sworn his VP will be a woman. To help him find that very special I-Believe-Joe woman VP, Joe has asked for the help of Ted Kennedy’s old waitress-sandwich partner, Chris Dodd. Problems solved!

What a terrible comic tragedy, what a farce of politics is the entire Democrat Party disintegration. All the more pitiful when Snoozy Joe is contrasted with a solid, dynamic, pro-America businessman.
