COVID-19: Two small tests in Massachusetts turned up a surprisingly high percentage of asymptomatic people who either had or had had the Wuhan Flu with mild to no symptoms.

During contact testing at a Boston homeless shelter, 146 of the nearly 400 people who were tested had the virus.

Also in Massachusetts, 64 out of 200 random people who agreed to have their fingers pricked had antibodies for the virus.

MEDIA MALPRACTICE: The Slime Stream Media has been doing an end zone dance over something the National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced, because they think it makes Trump look bad. As per usual, they have misrepresented what both Trump and the NIH actually said.

READ THE ARTICLE if this interests you.

If Trump hadn’t been excited about the potential for hydroxychloroquine, jerk-nalists wouldn’t give a tinker’s dam about what the NIH said.

There are numerous treatments being studied. They don’t talk about any of them EXCEPT the one Trump talked about.

UNEMPLOYMENT: Some businesses that wanted to stay open have had employees ask to be laid off because they can earn more money on unemployment through The CARES Act than they could if they kept working.

IMMIGRATION: Nearly 80 percent of Americans support President Trump’s commonsense measure to temporarily halt immigration. At a time when most Americans are discouraged from all nonessential travel within our borders, it is responsible and fair to limit travel across those borders as well.

The political class doesn’t do common sense, however. Democrat “leaders” such as Senators Elizabeth Warren and Tim Kaine joined CNN pundits in attacking the decision. They couldn’t make any case, so they resorted to the usual “racism” insults instead.

2020_04 23 You can stay home

DOJ: Attorney General William Barr said the Justice Department will consider legal action against governors for taking excessive action during the stay-at-home orders.

If we think one goes too far, we initially try to jawbone the governors into rolling them back or adjusting them. And if they’re not and people bring lawsuits, we file statement of interest and side with the plaintiffs,” Barr said.

SPYGATE: The Senate Judiciary Committee, chaired by Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina), has created a web page to increase transparency and accountability.

It contains recently declassified transcripts and other material related to the Committee’s investigation into Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) actions leading up to and during the Crossfire Hurricane operation, including the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant process.

Margot Cleveland at The Federalist details seven new revelations contained in this materials.

  1. The FBI always intended to spy on the Trump campaign.
  2. The FBI failed to brief the Trump campaign about its alleged suspicions regarding Page.
  3. The FBI spied on the Trump administration.
  4. When Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) responded to Rep. Devin Nunes’s (R-Calif.) memo on FISA abuse, he lied.
  5. Portions of the FISA warrant applications were based solely on media leaks the FBI knew were fake news.
  6. The FBI used rumors from Mueller’s investigation to justify FISA warrant renewals so it could continue to spy on the Trump administration.
  7. In the final FISA application, the FBI cited Page’s efforts to clear his name as evidence of his collusion with Russia.

DEMOCRATS SUCK: Democratic Rep. Pramila Jayapal (Wash.) admitted that she and her progressive colleagues have been blocking small business relief to get money for Progressive pork.

I think what you’re hearing from all of us on the call is that we have real concerns about giving away leverage now without getting some of the priorities we need.

The Senate Republican Communications Center posted a video of her remarks on Twitter, writing: Think about that: Democrats would rather use workers as partisan leverage than actually help them.”

Why should anyone be surprised? They’ve been doing this to the African-American community for 60 years.

DEMOCRATS SUCK: They talk and talk and talk, pushing their agendas and narratives, all the while neglecting the people they claim to care about.

THE VIEW: I thought my opinion of the hags on The View couldn’t sink any lower.

Turns out, I was wrong.

2020_04 23 white guilt

WHITE LIBERAL GUILT: In a Pew Research poll, 49% of white Democrats said it bothered them that their nominee will be a white male in his 70s.

But only 30% of Hispanics and 28% of black Democrats said they were bothered by a white male candidate in his 70s.

ABORTION: [1:15] – COVID-19 has been lethal primarily to the elderly, but it may be responsible for saving thousands of innocent young lives.

Planned Parenthood International has had to close 5,633 Planned Parenthood member clinics around the world. Twenty-three more have reported a reduced ability to commit abortions. Some of their difficulties are due to the shortage of PPEs. Also, in the United States, elective surgeries have been postponed for the duration of the virus quarantine period.

While abortion is considered elective, some Democrat governors have carved out an exception to allow baby killing to continue. The Democratic governor of Michigan went so far as to claim that it was more important than ever, because abortion is “life sustaining.”

In Texas, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit upheld the state’s right to ban abortions under the COVID-19 executive order.

RELIGIOUS FREEDOM: Two churches sued over the Kansas governor’s emergency restrictions on church services.

On April 28, a U.S. District judge granted a temporary injunction, saying that the plaintiffs are likely to succeed in their case, because the restrictions on religious activities are “more severe than restrictions on some comparable non-religious activities.

GIBSON’S BAKERY: [6:51] – The story of how a small family bakery fought back against the power of the cancel culture … and won.

GRAMMY NOTES: My just-turned-seven (and very precocious) grandson did this hygiene work sheet. My daughter swears she had NOTHING to do with the answers! ROFL

GARDEN NOTES: Oh darn! I missed it when we hit the 1 million mark! But wow.

Way to go, gardeners! 🙂

QUARANTINE KITCHEN: [4:15] – Charlie Berens explains, “How to make a Casserole and/or Hotdish (and donate blood).”

MASS PRODUCED: [3:37] – Charlie Berens talks about being one of 12 kids.

Don’t watch this if you’re easily offended by comedians taking liberties with Bible stories. Just sayin’.

  1. Found this while I was looking for something else… a screen shot taken shortly after PN hit the one million mark. I stashed it away and promptly forgot about it.
