“Trump didn’t do enough soon enough”

Whoever it is that invents Democrat Talking Points has designated this “too slow” meme as the Whine Du Jour. It’s about as drinkable as Ripple.

The Subcommittee on Asia, the Pacific and Nonproliferation (Committee on Foreign Affairs) hearing on “Wuhan Coronavirus: Assessing the Outbreak, the Response, and Regional Implications.”

Feb 24 – Four weeks after the World Health Organization (WHO) declared the Chinese Coronavirus a Public Health Emergency, Nancy Pelosi travels to San Francisco’s Chinatown and, during a televised interview, encourages people to eat and shop there, assuring everyone that it’s perfectly safe.

Mar 22 – A bipartisan group of senators constructed a $1.6 Trillion emergency virus aid package to rescue the U.S. economy and American workers. At the last minute, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi swanned in from her vacay to tell Schumer to crush the bill while she and her fellow greedy Democrats plumped it up to $2 Trillion with Progressive pork and crony kick backs.

As the nation responds positively to Trump’s virus leadership, his approval numbers go up even as Joe Biden’s efforts to appear presidential become more and more pathetic. Flailing Democrats switch from “calling it Chinese Coronavirus is RAAACIST” to “Trump didn’t do enough fast enough.”

Mar 29 – Pelosi sneers, “As the president fiddles, people are dying.”

Apr 1 – CNN’s Jim Acosta tried to pimp forward the Democrats’ “too slow” meme at the Task Force’s daily briefing. Dr. Fauci told him, “We acted very, very early.”

Every step Trump took the dems mocked him for. They claimed it was to take away interest in impeachment. They knew this was coming, the news media knew, and both ignored it until too late. Now they’re desperate to place blame elsewhere rather than where it belongs, on them both.

They’re also ignoring the evolution of the data, trying to hold Task Force members to statements they made along the way, before they knew what they know now. They’re explaining everything so thoroughly every day at the briefings. It’s very unfair and just makes me loathe them more than ever.
