On June 9, 2016, Don Trump Jr. met in Trump Tower, New York City, with Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, and at least five other people. At the time, Don Jr. said the meeting was about Russian adoptions.
On July 8, 2017, The New York Times reported that the Trump campaign’s anti-Hillary Russia collusion began at this meeting.
Their evidence was that one of the people who had attended was Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya who allegedly had connections to the Kremlin.
Please note that Veselnitskaya was working for Fusion GPS, the opposition research firm that Hillary’s campaign hired to target Trump and that cooked up the Steele dossier.
Don Jr. said Veselnitskaya had presented them with no information about Hillary or her campaign. The “Resistance” didn’t believe him.
For YEARS after, the official “truth” was that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the White House from Hillary Clinton and that the whole dirty saga had started at that June 9, 2016 meeting in Trump Tower.
The multi-million dollar Mueller investigation that the Left hyped breathlessly for two years was launched in May 2017 and was not completed until March 2019, at which time it finally admitted there was no evidence of collusion.
On March 5, 2020, the FBI released the 302s (agent’s notes) from a July 12, 2017 interview with Anatoli Samochornov, the translator who was at the infamous meeting. Here is a screen shot I took of the FBI document (link below).
Less than two months after the Mueller investigation was launched, the FBI had first person testimony from both Don Trump Jr and Anatoli Samochornov that the entire Russia collusion narrative was a lie.
Here is a list of all the news media reports about this BOMBSHELL revelation …
The Dan Bongino Show, Ep. 1198 (Mar 6, 2020) covers the information above [16:20 and ff]. He then goes into the outrageous train of events that followed not just the Samochornov interview, but also the Strzok-Page text revelation. Briefly, rather than dropping the whole thing, the Mueller team went on a North Korea-style spree of unjustified search warrants and arrests [38:00 to 46:08].
