My latest update from the campaign trail
SOUTH CAROLINA DEBATE: From Patricia McCarthy at American Thinker – “The most appalling aspect of the debate was the sheer childishness of it. The moderators, while they did ask a few challenging questions, lost control from the outset. Why? Because the participants, with the exception of Klobuchar, behaved like MMA cage fighters without a referee. They all talked at once, raising and waving their hands to be called on like second graders, shouting over one another as if they were guests on the Jerry Springer show. It was pathetic. … Not one of them has a chance in hell of beating Trump.”
From David Ng at Breitbart – “Unlike the last debate in Las Vegas that saw the stars eagerly championing their favorite candidates and dog-piling on Mike Bloomberg, the South Carolina event failed to elicit much passion aside from derision among celebrities.” Among the criticisms were “What a mess”, “Losers”, “Joyless”, and “Unprepared.”
FREUDIAN MIC: During the South Carolina debate, he said, “All of the new Democrats that came in, put Nancy Pelosi in charge, and gave the Congress the ability to control this President. I boug … I got them.”
BERNIE: [1:26] – I found Bernie’s papers posted online at Sanders Guide Blog. The article, “Peter Pan Man and Pinocchio”, explores Bernie’s personal history, character, and career. The description reminds me of what I’ve read about other notable atheists – i.e., bitter, angry men who hated their fathers.
“Bernie is the bully claiming to be the victim, reinforcing victimhood among his followers, standing as their king of bluster, pointing the finger to damn everyone else.”
The article is worth reading and includes excerpts from some of Bernie’s wacky writings.
FAUXCAHONTAS: At the debate, Elizabeth Warren repeated the story that she got fired from her first job for being pregnant.
Not only was this particular lie (of her many) debunked in 2019 (see link below), but also the video shows it isn’t even what she was saying about that time in her life back in 2007.
Never mind hoping she’d give us transparency in government. This woman can’t even tell the truth about her own personal history.
BOOTY JUDGE: Mayor Pete showed up at a workers’ union protest in Charleston, South Carolina on Monday. A group from Black Voters Matter chased him away, chanting, “Pete can’t be our President, where was $15 in South Bend?”
SLOW JOE: From John Nolte at Breitbart – “In less than two weeks, Biden has forgotten what office he’s running for, who was the attorney general while he was vice president, which Chinese leader he worked with on the Paris Climate Accord, and is just making up stories about being arrested in South Africa in 1989.”
From Ed Morrissey at Hot Air – When Gayle King asked Biden why people should have confidence in his ability to pass effective gun control regulation, Biden responded by claiming that nearly half of the population of the entire country has been wiped out by gun violence over the past dozen years. “150 million people have been killed since 2007,” Biden declared, laying blame for the “carnage on our streets!” on Bernie Sanders for exempting gun manufacturers from lawsuits.
From E.M. Cadwaladr at American Thinker – “If Joe Biden weren’t a corrupt, crude, shallow, self-righteous fondler of people’s children I could probably muster some sympathy for him. There he stands behind the bright blue podium, almost dizzy under the lights, recounting past accomplishments no one ever heard of. He is a creature beyond his time — a sad figure who has made the subtle crossover from predictable dishonesty into agonized dementia. But Joe is a corrupt, crude, shallow, self-righteous fondler of people’s children. His dementia only makes his ugly nature more apparent.”
