CONFESSIONS OF A WOKE KNITTER: Karlyn Borysenko writes in “After Attending a Trump Rally, I Realized Democrats Are Not Ready For 2020” –
“I knit as a way to relax and escape the drama of real life, not to further engage with it. But it was impossible to ignore after roving gangs of online social justice warriors started going after anyone in the knitting community who was not lockstep in their ideology. Knitting stars on Instagram were bullied and mobbed by hundreds of people for seemingly innocuous offenses. One man got mobbed so badly that he had a nervous breakdown and was admitted to the hospital on suicide watch. Many things were not right about the hatred, and witnessing the vitriol coming from those I had aligned myself with politically was a massive wake-up call. …
“When I witnessed the amount of hate coming from the left in this small, niche knitting community, I started to question everything. I started making a proactive effort to break my echo chamber by listening to voices I thought I would disagree with. I wanted to understand their perspective, believing it would confirm that they were filled with hate for anyone who wasn’t like them. That turned out not to be the case.”

TRUMP ECONOMY: Dems like to give Obama credit for the booming economy, pointing out that more new jobs were created during the last three years under Obama than during the first three years under Trump. There are three major problems with this thesis.
- It is much easier to create new jobs right after a recession than it is to keep creating jobs when the economy is doing well.
- The pre-2016 election rhetoric pointed to economic calamity if Trump was elected.
- Obama’s economic recovery following the 2009 recession was the slowest on record. CNN said this was at least partly due to the large numbers of baby boomers reaching retirement age. We still have a lot of baby boomers retiring.
VOTER FRAUD: [5:37] – Project Veritas busts a Democrat New Hampshire primary election official offering advice about who to vote for. She said later that she didn’t know doing this was against the law. Since other election workers at other polling stations did know, it looks like this one didn’t go to the training session.
GALLUP: Despite the Left’s frequent claims that America has gotten more hateful and divided, the fact is we’re more tolerant than ever.
This poll also showed where we stand on one of the key issues in 2020, namely, SOCIALISM. “If your party nominated a generally well-qualified person for president who happened to be a socialist, would you vote for that person?”
- Democrats 76%
- Republicans 17%
- Independents 45%
BONGINO: [58:46] – Dan goes on a major rant against the evils of socialism.
KLOBUCHAR: Democratic presidential candidate Amy Klobuchar told The View “there are pro-life Democrats and they are part of our party.” This convinced some conservatives and Catholics that Klobuchar was moderate on abortion.
But in her 12 years in the Senate, Klobuchar received a 0% rating from pro-life groups because she voted pro-abortion 36 out of 36 times. And last May, in response to a question about late term abortion and infanticide, she said she supports the unlimited abortion rights.
