REDEEM TEAM: [8:14]In this video, Fr. Mike Schmitz simplifies the complex theology behind the Immaculate Conception. Mama Buzz just sent this to me and I loved it, so here it is.

Obviously, I want my fellow Catholics to watch it. I taught RCIA for 5 years and I still learned some cool stuff!

But I also hope my precious non-Catholic readers will watch it too. I’m not out to proselytize anybody; I sincerely believe we should each be in the church the Holy Spirit chooses.

I’m not looking for anyone to assent to the doctrine, but rather just to accurately understand it.

There’s far too much “fake news” out there about Catholic doctrine.  I believe this hinders us from being strong allies in this spiritual war we’re fighting.
