MARY: “Let those who think that the Church pays too much attention to Mary give heed to the fact that Our Blessed Lord Himself gave ten times as much of His life to her as He gave to His Apostles.” – Blessed Fulton Sheen
IMPEACHMENT: “Wildly stupid” [3:50] – Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who pleaded the left’s case for 2 ½ hours before the Senate today. Spoiler alert: That wasn’t a good idea.
Schiff claimed that President Trump endorsed the theory that Russia did not interfere in the 2016 election.
FACT: President Trump has publicly said, very clearly, that he accepts the conclusion of the intelligence community that Russia interfered in 2016.
Schiff said that President Trump wouldn’t meet with President Zelenskyy.
FACT: President Trump invited President Zelenskyy to the White House—with no preconditions—on THREE occasions: April 21, May 29, and July 25. They met at the first opportunity, at the UN General Assembly.
Schiff brought up claims of a “quid pro quo.”
FACT: It’s not in the Democrats’ articles of impeachment, because it never happened.
IMPEACHMENT: [2:42] – Republican Sen. Rand Paul says he will keep pushing to rally a majority of GOP senators to end the impeachment trial.
MEDIA MALPRACTICE: While reporting on the Senate’s impeachment trial, CNN’s Joe Lockhart tweeted this:
“Overheard convo between two Republicans Senators who only watch Fox News. ‘is this real stuff? I haven’t heard any of this before. I thought it was all about a server. If half the stuff Schiff is saying is true, we’re up shit’s creek. Hope the White House has exculpatory evidence’.”
After a number of users pointed out how cartoonish that conversation sounds, Lockhart admitted that he made the whole thing up. But he says it’s okay, because he knows “exactly what they’re thinking.”
After claiming psychic powers, he then denounced critics for not laughing at his super fun satire.
I took a scroll through Lockhart’s Twitter feed. Not only is his hatred for President Trump palpable, but also his frequent, irate responses to Trump tweets demonstrate the truth in the meme above.
In other fake impeachment coverage, CNN’s Daniel Dale tweeted out “fact checks” on statements made by Trump’s lawyer, while ignoring all the lies Adam Schiff spewed.
COMPARE and CONTRAST: [1:39].
SAN FRANCISCO: San Fran Nan’s district, that haven of liberal perfection, has another black mark.
In 2019, the number of deaths resulting from overdoses of heroin, Fentanyl, or a combination of the two more than doubled in 2019.
DIVERSITY: Diversity in hiring is allegedly a top priority of most colleges and universities. But they’re obviously only interested in skin tones and crotches, not in what goes on in the hearts and minds of their faculty members.
A new study of 2,301 political donations by professors showed 2,081 went to Democrats while just 22 went to Republicans. That’s a 95:1 ratio.
