NUNES: [5:02] – Rep Nunes has checked his phone records and he says they don’t match what Schiff published.
Hmm. It looks like Adam has been playing pretend again. Just last September, during a live televised, congressional hearing, he claimed he was quoting from President Trump’s phone conversation with Ukraine President Zelensky.
When Trump released the actual transcript, it became obvious that Schiff had invented his version. Schiff said he had meant his version “part in parody“, as if a congressional hearing is some kind of spin off of open mike night at the Comedy Club.

PENSACOLA SHOOTING: Six Saudi nationals have been detained for questioning following Friday morning’s shooting incident at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola, Florida. It’s reported that three of them filmed the shooting as it happened
The Saudi national who opened fire killed three and injured eight. It is reported that he called the United States “a nation of evil” before he went on his shooting rampage. Police quickly responded to the scene and he was shot dead.
Rep Matt Gaetz, a Republican representing Pensacola, called the shooting “an act of terrorism.” President Trump tweeted that King Salman told him “the Saudi people are greatly angered by the by the barbaric actions of the shooter.”
Photo: Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, one of the three victims. A recent graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy this year, Watson is credited with saving countless lives. His brother wrote on Facebook, “After being shot multiple times he made it outside and told the first response team where the shooter was and those details were invaluable. He died a hero.”
HUCKABEE: [9:58] – Christine Caine has a powerful testimony. I hope you’ll take the time to watch this.
SLAVES: There are 40 million human beings held in bondage, more than at the height of the slave trade. It is the fastest growing crime in the world.
MR. ROGERS: [9:58] – A mom recounts what happened when her 21st century kids discovered this kind man and his slow-paced show – She had been charged with putting together a highlight spot and, assuming her media-saturated kids would disdain her childhood hero, decided to lock herself in the bedroom and binge on old shows.
Within a half-hour, her youngest two children, then ages 5 and 7, came in to get help with their homework. They stayed to watch. When that episode was over, they asked for another. And then, shockingly, another. Eventually, the older boys joined them. The next day and the day after that, the whole family indulged in a vintage Mister Rogers marathon.
The youngest two kids pulled up old episodes on their iPads, creating a playlist and ranking their favorites. They shushed other family members if they made noise when they watched. She asked them what it was about the show that appealed to them.
“He likes kids, Mommy.” “And he’s not too loud.” “When we watch him, we don’t have to worry about anything.”
“Say what you will about youth today: That their attention spans are too short. That their communication skills are lacking. That they’re drawn to things that are bright and shiny and temporary.
“The truth is they want what’s real, and they’re drawn to what’s kind.
“And even 21st-century kids recognize the beauty of Fred Rogers.”
GRAMMY NOTES: The Secret Life of Pets 2 DVD has a “How to Draw” thing in the Special Features. Mama reports that Bunny watched it over and over, then tried her hand at Snowball and Chloe. I’m impressed!
