FAITH-BASED ADOPTION: Anti-God Leftists have been trying to drive faith-based adoption agencies out of business. In an 11th-hour maneuver, the out-going Obama administration declared it was “discrimination” for faith-based adoption and foster care agencies to only place children in homes with a mother and a father.

Of course, the move was an obvious giveaway to the radical LGBT lobby, whose goal was to coerce Catholic agencies into affirming same-sex marriage. Thankfully, the Trump administration is putting the needs of kids first with a proposed change to the Obama rule that makes it clear that federal discrimination standards must adhere to the Constitution, acts of Congress, and Supreme Court decisions — not the whims of unelected bureaucrats.

The public is invited to submit their comments on the proposed rule on or before December 19, 2019. To add your two cents:

Go to https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=HHS_FRDOC_0001-0742

Click “Comment Now” at the top of the right-hand side of the white part.

Write your comment and follow the instructions to submit.

This is what I wrote: “Shutting down faith-based adoption agencies forces adoptive parents to clog up the remaining secular agencies, increases wait times and leaves children in foster care longer than necessary. Let people pick the adoption agency that matches their value system and avoid the ones that don’t.

IMPEACHMENT: The Democrats’ impeachment hearings are so dull, even Nadler fell asleep.

It didn’t do CNN any favors either. The failing station’s ratings hit a 3-year low this week.

SHIFTY SCHIFF: Spying – Schiff somehow obtaining Nunes’ phone records and published them in the Democrat’s impeachment report.

Minority Whip Steve Scalise said Wednesday, “Are there other members of Congress that he is spying on, and what justification does he have? He needs to be held accountable.

PROJECT VERITAS: Eric Cochran, the whistleblower who didn’t hide behind anonymity [5:43] He exposed Pinterest’s secret censorship of Christian and pro-life content.

DEMOCRAT FELON: Convicted sex offender George Nader, who was a key witness in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation, has been indicted by United States prosecutors for his alleged role in a scheme to conceal large sums of illegal campaign contributions to help Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

ANOTHER TRUMP JUDGE: Starting at 2:12 in the video, see Sarah Pitlyk defending Brett Kavanaugh on CNN [8:27] – Democrats said she was “extreme and unfit to judge,” but Senate Republicans ignored the propaganda and confirmed Sarah Pitlyk 49 to 44 to serve on the federal bench.

Democrats hate her, of course, because she’s a pro-life Catholic.

  • While in law school, she started Yale Law Students for Life.
  • She clerked for Brett Kavanaugh.
  • She has been serving as Special Counsel for the Thomas More Society, a pro-life public interest law firm that is defending pro-life investigator David Daleiden.
  • She represented the plaintiffs who successfully defeated St. Louis’s unconstitutional “abortion sanctuary city” ordinance that (among many horrible things) tried to force pro-life organizations to hire or rent property to supporters of abortion.
  • She filed a legal brief in support of the Trump administration’s pro-life reform of Title X — which resulted in a reduction of taxpayer funding given to Planned Parenthood.

I guess there is a silver lining to the Democrats’ impeachment circus. It keeps the Lefties too busy to Kavanaugh pro-life judicial candidates. The Republican-majority Senate has now confirmed more than 160 Trump nominees to lifetime seats on federal benches.

2A: Liberals create sanctuaries for criminals; conservatives create them to protect their Constitutional rights [2:09]Democrats won the trifecta in Virginia state government.

Anti-gun Democrats will control the governorship and both houses of Virginia’s state legislature next year and they’ve already got bills ready to make it a Class 6 felony (1-5 years imprisonment) for any person to import, sell, manufacture, purchase, possess or transport many kinds of center-fire rifles, pistols, shotguns, and handguns.

And they don’t plan to “grandfather” in previously owned firearms, which means, yes they do intend to confiscate the personal property of law abiding gun owners.

In response, “sanctuary counties” are popping up across the State to provide sanctuary to law abiding gun owners.

Meanwhile, Americans are voting with their wallets. Monthly retail firearms sales have been consistently close to or above all-time, record highs.

BEAUTY CAN BE COSTLY: A new study of 46,709 women found that those who regularly used permanent hair dye and/or chemical straighteners were significantly more likely to develop breast cancer than those who did not.

MOVIE REVIEW: [2:19] In July of 1996, Richard Jewell discovered a pipe bomb at Centennial Olympic Park during the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. He helped evacuate people from the area before the bomb exploded. Three days later, he was falsely accused of planting the bomb himself. In October of 1996, he was completely exonerated by an FBI investigation.

The movie has gotten consistently positive reviews with one notable TDS exception at the Daily Beast.

Clint Eastwood’s Richard Jewell wants to be a gripping, outrage-inciting drama about an innocent victim persecuted by—and driven to fight back against—institutional power. Unfortunately, what it turns out to be is a MAGA screed calibrated to court favor with the red hat-wearing faithful by vilifying the president’s two favorite enemies: the FBI and the media.”

Never mind the quality of the film itself or that Richard Jewell really was a good guy who saved people’s lives and that the FBI and the media really did get it wrong and turn him into a national villain. Because TRUUUUUUUUUUUMP.

It must be exhausting to be them.

FASHION REVIEW: More hateful, TDSing from the Washington Post’s fashion critic – Our stunning First Lady wore a lovely white ensemble as she toured this year’s White House Christmas decorations. But Trump-hating Robin Givhan just couldn’t bring herself to say anything nice.

The coat looks ridiculous. But more than a silly fashion folly, the coat is a distraction. It’s a discomforting affectation taken to a ludicrous extreme. … [it] exudes cold, dismissive aloofness.”

Melania was a top fashion model long before she even met Donald Trump. She was on the cover of Vogue, not because she was the president’s wife like Michelle Obama was, but because she was beautiful.

It must be exhausting to be them.

FELT CHRISTMAS TREE: What an excellent idea! A felt Christmas tree and ornaments the little ones can decorate again and again.
