My latest update from the campaign trail.
IMPEACHMENT: Vanity Fair poll has baaaaad news for Democrats – The headline reads: “Polling Suggests Democrats’ Impeachment Push Could Alienate Key Voters.”
By a yuge margin of 62 to 22 percent, the all-important Independent voters who will decide the 2020 election, especially in key states, say that impeachment is “more important to politicians than it is to me.”
By another yuge margin, 61 to 23 percent, Independents say impeachment is “more important to the media than it is to me.”
Vanity Fair concludes that these numbers can only mean “Impeachment proceedings are viewed as bread and circuses for the anti-Trump crowd in Washington and the media.”
DEMOCRAT DEBATE: They say the only people who won this were the people who didn’t watch it [2:46] – The video above fact checked untrue statements Kamala Harris and Elizabeth Warren made about women.
Dan Bongino played a clip of Harris claiming she has what it takes to go toe-to-toe with Donald Trump because she’s “taken on” Jeff Sessions, Bill Barr, and Brett Kavanaugh. Uhhhhhh … were we supposed to be impressed? All three of those Trump nominees were confirmed.
Bongino also went on an excellent rant about Bernie Sanders’ claim that coastal cities are going to be under water in eight to nine years. If liberals actually believe this climate crap, then why aren’t they dumping their waterfront properties and fleeing these coastal cities?
GEORGE SOROS: From John Solomon’s August 2019 report at The Hill – Citizens United FOIA’d Obama State Department memos that reveal the extraordinary level of access that billionaire and mega-Democrat-donor George Soros had to the Obama administration.
Soros is arguably one of the largest, most influential donors to Democrat campaign coffers. His reach and influence range from two dozen U.S. prosecutors he helped get elected, to fellows he helped train at the State Department, to global media institutions that he supports to the tune of $26 million annually.
His many financial beneficiaries include top Democrats like Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, and many of the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates. All of them take his money and do whatever he tells them to do, while railing publicly against the corrupting influence of big political money and the access that big donors win inside government.
They make it sound like big political money is solely a Republican problem. But George Soros makes the Koch brothers look like they live on the wrong side of the tracks.
FAUXCAHONTAS: E. Liesalot Warren opposes ALL forms of school choice for parents who do not have the means to privately finance alternative education for their children. When a school choice activist challenged her, saying, “Your children went to private schools,” Warren replied, “No, my children went to public schools.”
Well, yes and no. Her kids started out in public school, but she transferred her son to Kirby Hall School in 5th grade. Kirby, which costs thousands per year in tuition, offers small class sizes and an academically advanced curriculum.
IOW, the activists point is precisely right. When Warren’s son wasn’t thriving in the public school, Elizabeth Warren had the means to choose a different school and, being a good parent, she did so.
But elitists like her don’t want poor parents to have that choice, because it would make it harder for them to ensure that their children and only their children could grow up to take over their places in the ruling class.
