MASCOTS: The PoliNation mascots had a super fun day at a fall fun event, picking pumpkins and apples, riding on a hay wagon, running through a corn maze, and more. 🙂
BORDER: September had just over 52,000 illegal apprehensions at the southern border, a stunning improvement from the 144,000 in May.
This is the fourth straight month of declining numbers, all due to Trump’s efforts. He has built more wall, stepped up enforcement of long-neglected laws, and gotten cooperation from our southern neighbors. For example, due to his tough negotiation, Mexico is now actually helping stop illegals they had previously allowed to march unimpeded through Mexico to the U.S. border.
Meanwhile, Congress continues to do NOTHING to fix our immigration laws.
SYRIA: Trump on Monday defended the decision to pull U.S. troops out of northern Syria, where there is fear now that Turkey will launch an invasion against the Kurds, who the United States had been supporting.
“The U.S. has done far more than anyone could have ever expected, including the capture of 100% of the ISIS Caliphate,” Trump tweeted Monday. “It is time now for others in the region, some of great wealth, to protect their own territory.”
DEMOCRATS AND LAPDOG MEDIA LIE: A lot [3:21] – If you support the Left’s impeachment narrative, you should watch this video. (If you’re a regular reader, you already know this stuff.)
WE BUILD THE WALL: “Now that the wall is done, it’s safe again.” [6:04] – The American Army Corps of Engineers said a wall would be impossible to build along this section of the border. “We Build the Wall” built it in a week, using private donations, and at one-third the price the government would have spent.
WORD NERD: Scapegoat – n. SKAYP-goat. 1. A male goat upon whose head are symbolically placed the sins of the people after which he is sent into the wilderness in the biblical ceremony for Yom Kippur. 2. One that bears the blame for others or is the object of irrational hostility.
ESSENTIAL OILS: I have long been frustrated by the lack of good information about using essential oils to help my pooch. I just found this!!
FYI: I have heard you should not use essential oils on cats.
