My latest update from the campaign trail.
TRUMP’S SHARPIE: The Stupid Stream News (and related celebrity bags of hot air) went all over TDS about how Trump had allegedly used a SHARPIE to ALTER a Hurricane Dorian map to show that it MIGHT hit ALABAMA!
Oh noes! The inhumanity!
Trump said he didn’t even … and produced the National Hurricane Center’s map which showed multiple projected paths, many of which did cross into Alabama, to prove it.
The Stupids noted that while Trump may have CLAIMED he didn’t alter the map, there was a SHARPIE. Right. There. On. His. Desk. (The crack investigative journalists even included a PHOTO of Trump’s guilty pen.)
Yeah. Well. ::clearingthroat::
Trump is well known for preferring Sharpie pens. In November, 2018, Business Insider wrote a whole article about it.
“I was signing documents with a very expensive pen and it didn’t write well,” Trump said. “It was a horrible pen, and it was extremely expensive. And then I started using just a Sharpie, and I said to myself, well wait a minute, this much writes much better and this cost almost nothing.”
Trump Sharpie memes ensued. And Trump, being Trump, added Sharpie pens to his campaign store. I ordered five. I also ordered a nice, 100% cotton, “Women for Trump”, V-neck tee.
CNN CLIMATE TOWNHALL: “Sweaty moral posturing” [6:54] – There is no scientific consensus about whether or not carbon emissions have an impact on the climate.
But the more we say, “Calm down and let’s discuss this thing like adults,” the more climate alarmists ratchet up their doomsday rhetoric.
The latest moonbat proposal comes from a Swedish professor who thinks we need to tear down all our silly, old-fashioned taboos against eating pets AND EACH OTHER.
Also, Democrat theologian and part-time mayor, Pete Buttigieg, assures us, “There’s a lot of parts of the Bible that talk about how life begins with breath.”
“I think, no matter what you think about the kind of cosmic question of how life begins, most Americans can get on board with the idea of, alright, I might draw the line here, you might draw the line there, but the most important thing is the person who should be drawing the line is the woman making the decision.”
IOW, Republicans are Very Terrible People for insisting that all human beings have a right to life, regardless of age, size, or place of residence.
BERNIE: Of course, he strongly supports “a woman’s right to control her own body.” – But he ALSO “very, very strongly” supports using American taxpayers’ dollars to fund abortion abroad, “especially in poor countries around the world.”
Democrat Theme Song: “Short people, unborn people, and poor people got no reason to live.”
2A: I admire Tucker for being polite to this bozo – I got fed up with his b.s. about half-way through.
Also, the government can’t “buy back” what it never owned in the first place. Just sayin’.
BIDEN: Mainstream media outlets are still defending Joe Biden but the far left is losing patience with him quickly. From Salon –
Biden’s unfortunate tendency to say dumb or untrue things, which helped end his presidential ambitions in 1988 and 2008, is proving yet again to be a little more troublesome than the word “gaffe” implies.
On the contrary, it’s starting to seem more like an indifference to the truth that borders on mendacity, or an ego too big to admit that it’s naughty to tell lies. Or, as some have suggested, it could also be evidence that Biden, who will be 78 years old on Inauguration Day in 2021, is slipping mentally.
From New York Daily News –
Bid farewell to Joe Biden. I say that with regret, for the former vice president is the nicest of fellows, lacking malice, who likes people and likes doing something for them. Yet, his gaffes continue feeding the impression that he is a touch gaga, and, worse, no one can complete the sentence: “Joe Biden because …”
BABYLON BEE: During a campaign speech Tuesday, Joe Biden proudly declared that while Republicans have at least some standards, Democrats are going above and beyond with their “double standards.”
“That’s two times as many standards,” he said proudly. “Double is a lot more than single. Anyone who’s ever watched a baseball game knows that.“
