TRUMP DERANGED: Two of the victims of the El Paso shooter were a husband and wife who both died shielding their two-month-old infant.
When President and Mrs. Trump visited El Paso, they met the baby and family of the deceased parents. The photo of the baby and his guardians was used in both the mainstream press and on social media to attack the President and the First Lady as being ghoulish or inappropriate.
They have received threats because of their participation in that photo.
The baby’s uncle and the other members of the family said they were consoled by the visit. “[The president] was just there as a human being, consoling us and giving us condolences. He wasn’t there to be pushing any kind of political agenda.”

WOMEN’S SPORTS: The Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference allows high school athletes to compete based on their subjective identification with the opposite sex, not just their biological sex.
The result has been domination of girls’ track and field events by biological males, including by one male who couldn’t cut it in male track and then shattered 10 records in female track.
Female athletes in Connecticut say it’s a violation of Title IX and the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights in Boston has agreed to open an investigation.
JUDICIAL WIN: A federal appeals court has rejected an atheist group’s challenge to Lehigh County’s official seal, ruling that the cross featured on it is not discriminatory to non-Christians.
“It is common sense that religion played a role in the lives of our nation’s early settlers. Recognizing that is just as constitutional as honoring symbols like the Liberty Bell,” said Diana Verm, senior counsel at the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, who represented Lehigh County.
