Yesterday, I turned 65, so I am now officially a senior citizen. Finally, I have an excellent excuse for being an airhead! ::heehee:: I had a very excellent birthday. Lots of love from all around. I’m very blessed.
HAMAS: After a weekend of violence, Hamas has agreed to a ceasefire with Israel. They must’ve used up all their rockets. I doubt the IDF is fooled. It’s a typical pattern for them to agree to “peace” then use the time to rearm for another assault.
VENEZUELA: Chavista loyalist known as ‘colectivos’ – hooded, heavily armed motorcycle thugs – have started beheading dissidents for supporting Venezuela’s acting president, Juan Guaido. They’re not only engaging in those depraved acts, they’re desecrating the bodies of those they murder and giggling for the cameras afterward. Since private ownership of guns was banned in 2012, there’s not a whole lot citizens can do to protect themselves.
CNN: Gee, I wonder why they need to downsize their work force? – The only problem with Stelter’s spin is that buyouts are just layoffs with some compensation attached. Generally, if “buyouts” aren’t accepted by enough employees, layoffs follow. Plus, the Deadline article calls the people accepting buyouts as “seasoned” employees – i.e., people who have been with CNN for a long time. I’m just guessing that one is code for “near enough to retirement age that the buyout was a good deal.”
FOX: ROFLL – A lot of people actually watch Fox News. ::snork::
BRIAN SIMS IS NOT A GOOD PERSON: But hey, he’s a pro-abortion Democrat, so what else should we expect or hope for? – Pennsylvania State Rep. Brian Sims has made quite a name for himself lately by harassing elderly and teenage pro-life activists. He seemed pretty darn proud of himself too, seeing as he posted videos of himself doing it.
In the Liberal Dictionary, praying in front of an abortion clinic is “bullying” while yelling at females young and old for praying in front of an abortion clinic is a righteous act of social justice.
But now he’s facing political consequences for being a bullying butthead, so he recorded a half-assed apology saying, “I will fiercely protect a woman’s right to make the best choices for her health & her body, unimpeded. I also know that two wrongs don’t make a right, especially on the front lines of a civil rights battle. I can do better, and I will do better, for the women of Pennsylvania.”
Translation: “I got caught being my true self and now I’m going to put on a suit and pretend that I’m someone else so I don’t get fired cuz all I really care about is my own power.”
Other tweeters: “Instead of genuinely owning up to your despicable behavior, you paint pro-life advocates as the bad guys and yourself as some kind of white knight for women. Well, women seeking abortions, anyway.
You certainly didn’t support those women’s right to choose to protest.
Pretty sexist of you to only support women when they’re “behaving.”
You didn’t address the fact that you offered $100 for the names and addresses of the teenage girls you ‘caught’ praying outside Planned Parenthood.
That old lady wasn’t doing ANYTHING that you described in this video. Just apologize.
You have only succeeded in proving that you actually embody what you are attacking others for.
I have yet to see a single Democrat condemn him for his bullying.
As Maya Angelou said, “When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.”
“Pap SCHMEAR”? Dude, it’s not a friggin’ bagel condiment.
GEORGIA: It’s another nothingburger for SJW Alyssa Milano big film boycott threat – Georgia’s Republican Gov. Brian Kemp signed into law a ban on aborting any unborn baby who has a detectable heartbeat.
An unborn baby’s heart begins to bear between the 2d and 3d week after conception. It is likely to be detectable by the 5th week of gestation.
The CDC says something like 34% of abortions are performed at or prior to the 6th week of gestation. So Georgia’s law will save a lot of lives if it is ever allowed to stand.
My guess is the pro-aborts have already filed their objections in court. These new pro-life laws are going to work their way up to SCOTUS and put Roe and Doe is jeopardy. We need to pray!
N.b., OB/GYNs measure pregnancy from the first day of the woman’s last menstrual period (LMP). Gestation – i.e., the actual age since conception, is usually, but not always, about two weeks later.
CATHOLICS DIVIDED: Is Pope Francis a heretic? – “We are in the middle of an unprecedented situation in the history of the Catholic Church.”
CHRISTOPHER ROBIN! Where are you?!
